Description of Work: I contracted with Allmark to remove one old maple tree and prune (3) and cable (2)others. Mark, the owner and arborist, is a skilled and detail oriented individual. He worked carefully and took the time necessary to do the work properly. His crew did an excellent job cleaning up and restoring the work sites. I was very pleased and would highly recommend Allmark. The customer must, however, be patient- I endured a four month window between estimate and job completion. Contractor did maintain communication during that window. Total cost for the work was $2300.

Description of Work: I had one dead tree near the driveway taken down and the stump ground. I also had several dead branches pruned from a huge oak in the back yard that they had to climb. |The crew was great. All work was done with skill and care and they raked and cleaned everything up. They even cut some rounds out of the dead tree for me that I wanted to make some tables out of. |I highly recommend them.

Description of Work: What I paid for was a consult/evaluation of what processes would be best for my tree. Mark was punctual and professional, but I was a little surprised that he spent only about 5 minutes examining the tree. He allayed my fears that roots would hurt the foundation of my home, and gave me an estimate for 1) Removing the tree or 2) Digging out root growth 'girdling' the tree.

Description of Work: I contacted Allmark twice to get an estimate for some tree removal. They were highly rated on the site. I left two messages and never received a return call. As a result, we contracted with a highly rated competitor whose services we will review once the job is complete. I don't understand not getting a response in this economy. The price is the price we eventually contracted for.

 + -1 moreThe owner has top notch equipment that allows precsion work. The crane was unique. All the other equipment seemed well cared for and in good shape. There is always collateral damage to other shrubs and trees but this team did the work with minimum damage. Huge 24'' -30" trunks were place on the ground and then relocated for firewood processing with precison and mimnimum damage to the turf lawn. All crew members were polite, helpful and no-nonsense in getting the work done. Also the stump grinding was done very deep into the ground and very thoroughly. Clean-up of brush was excellent.
Description of Work: We have a large suburban house lot. Task was removal of several very old and very tall trees. Two were large norway maples near power lines, one tall tullip tree, huge silver maple and a few smaller trees.

Description of Work: I used two Angie's list coupons which cost me around 200 dollars total for supposedly 400 dollars worth of tree service. They trimmed a very large weeping willow that sits in front of my home and they did a throughly fine job of it reaching all the way to the topmost branches. I was pleased with the work and felt it was worth @ four hundred for the finished product.
