Renewal by Andersen of the Hudson Valley

I signed the contract on May 17, 2017. I agreed to the price of $28,500.00 with a deposit of $14,250.00 the balance upon completion. The name of the company is actually Huff n Puff . They told me that this is the renewal by Andersen division of the company. They offered to arrange financing which they did. The salesperson promised us that the job would start in 6 weeks or less. Huff n Puff has already been given the $14,250.00 deposit from the lender, and I have already paid two installments of the loan. To date the job has not been started. Now, when I call, they will not return my calls. My wife has been somewhat successful in texting the project manager when she begs for information upon when the job will start. She does get text responses, but nobody will actually speak to us by phone about this horrible delay. I would be willing to wait for a great quality job, but I cannot stand the arrogance of the smug project manager Chris who will seldom return a phone call. If I don't get a response within 2 weeks, I'm going to contact the lender and try to undo this contract on the basis of no specific performance of the contract obligations on the part of Huff n Puff. I do not suggest this company for your Andersen window replacement needs. All they have provided us is frustration and misery. (and no windows)
