+ -1 moreJohn the owner is obsessed with me, dangerous, continues harassing me via phone and driving around my house at all hours. I’m a single mom, scared. I feel compelled to warn others at this point, 5 months into this h***. He clearly has mental health issues and needs professional help. He did my landscaping for the 2023 season. Even hired him in September for my fall clean up once the summer work was over. He begins texting me in at the end of Nov. that I have a past due balance. I compared with my bank Zelle payments to him and he was PIF with a final payment for fall clean up as well. To this day he still text and harasses me. I’m going to file a report with the police. He has been going around to my neighborhood talking to my neighbors about me. Weird!!! This is scary and infuriating at the same time:(

Description of Work: We hired John Cameron Landscaping to clear out an area of our backyard, remove weeds throughout the property, and create two planting beds in sloped areas of our yard that were difficult to mow. John and his team did an amazing job and worked tirelessly in the middle of 90 degree plus temperatures and during rain from a tropical storm in order to complete the job in time for an event at my house. His crew arrived early in the mornings and worked late even when I later informed him that we had decided to reschedule the event. John was at my house throughout the day to check in on the progress of the project. When an issue arose with the mulch dye bleeding after installation resulting in two different colored mulch, John assured me that he would make it right and he did just that. I provided John with a listing of the work I wanted estimates for so I can budget and prioritize accordingly. I really appreciated his detailed estimates for each of my line items and the planting suggestions he provided. His pricing is fair and in line with other quotes I received. I ultimately decided to go with him because I felt like the project was in good hands. I would not hesitate to recommend him or hire him again for future projects.

+ 1 moreJohn's crews and their services are excellent. I have not had to touch a rake or a lawnmower in the five years since they were first hired. John's communications are spot-on (regular email updates and phone calls when necessary), and his initial consultation was immediate. I contacted him through Home Advisor, based on his excellent reputation there, and he arrived at my front door, prepared to deliver an estimate, a few hours later. So satisfied have I been with John Cameron Landscaping that I have referred them to others like myself who are unable or unwilling to do their own lawn/landscaping duties. Finally, I have found John's prices to be very fair, and even the ancillary services (autumn leaf removal and periodic gutter cleaning) to be affordable. If I did not already have an existing snow removal service, I would hire John to do that, too.

+ 0 moreIt's excellent. They are very thorough and they provided good customer service. Timely. I also had them do kinda a block wall as well as some stones put around my property and they are very good at that as well. Prices are reasonable as well.

The crew led by Rich was efficient and friendly. Rich did a good job of adjusting the planting on the fly. John stopped by twice during the day. I am very very happy with this project.

+ 1 moreHe came immediately, it took all of 5-10 minutes, and he didn't accept any payment. To me, that spoke volumes of the type of person John is. I have since contracted to have his company do our landscaping this year, but it remains to be seen how it will evolve. I have confidence in what I already have seen regarding his attentiveness. I also have hired him to put up a deer fence.
Description of Work: Initially, I contacted John to shovel/plow the snow blocking my garage door that my own plowing company had left.
