Castlton....a bright spot during a disastrous time for us. Truly a professional outfit, they lived up to the promise that the work would be done quickly, efficiently and as if it never took place. And that IS the truth. Removal of a 44 year old oil tank buried in the front of our house went seemingly well. A slate walkway had to be demolished in order to remove the tank without coming close to the existing natural gas line to our house. I had nightmares over this whole procedure. And I worried for nothing. Castlton rebuilt the slate walkway completely, and you would never know a blade of grass was disturbed....that's how perfectly the job was done. Kudos to Castlton and all their wonderful crew.

They were notified by their website. Called and came to the our home site the same day. The proposal was received the next day. The work was done in 2 days. They were very responsive. The crew was polite and attentive. All required notifications and reports were done timely. Thank you!!

We had a huge oil spill on our property caused by another contractor cracking our oil tank and our sump pump ejecting it onto our front lawn (within a week of us buying our first new home!). Castlton worked with us for MONTHS to clean it up. They were easy to get in touch with and work with and we are finally back to normal thanks to them. They also dealt directly with the insurance company, which saved our sanity.

Castlton successfully accomplished a very difficult oil spill and groundwater contamination clean up in my yard and basement located next to a drinking water reservoir. Crew and management were all very professional and communicative at all times. Highly recommended.

Bill came with a crew to dig up an old oil tank in my yard. The men were efficient and quick and left very little disturbance. Luckily there was no leak and they cleaned out the tank and hauled it away. The price was very reasonable, too. Overall a good experience, considering that these tanks are tricky to remove.

From start to finish Castlton was very professional. The crew arrived on time to remove a 275 gallon oil tank from my basement. After a few hours they were done. They cleaned up all debris (they had to cut apart the tank to remove it from the basement) so thoroughly you would never even have known they were there. Almost as if the tank magically disappeared. Castlton removed an oil tank, and promptly began a spill cleanup, which was larger and more difficult than expected. Field personnel were courteous and completed the work without any damage to the house or property. Castlton worked steadily, except for one snow day. Greg, the project manager, was easily reached by phone or email. He did at lot of work to make sure the spill file was closed in time to finalize the sale of the house. Castlton got us through a difficult situation as quickly as could be expected.

Castlton provided a terrific, professional, and timely service at a great price. Very hard to find a reliable company these days to do anything but these guys are the real deal. Jennifer ( in the office ) walked me through the process and answered my zillion questions very patiently. They handled everything, permits, certificates, back fill, and quickly. I live in Utah and the property with the underground fuel tank was in Montgomery, New York but that wasn't a hurdle. I gave them a deposit, then Castlton went in and did the job like the pros they are, sent me the bill ( which was very affordable ) and boom. . . fuel tank removed. Don't call anyone else!!!!!

We hired them to clean up a diesel spill after the removal of an underground tank, and the project was completed to perfection! Great customer service, very helpful in completing all the paperwork with the DEC, and they expedited the work to have it done before we sold the property. Honest people and a pleasure to work with! They did an excellent job in removing the old oil tank from underground. After that they filled up the hole with a truck load of gravel then cover with garden soil. They explained to me on different cases when inspecting the oil tank and applied it appropriately. The work was completed in a timely manner.
