Description of Work: We were first buyers and got the name through our real estate broker. He did our inspection and radon reading. He seemed very proffessional but ommitted to see that the roof had 4 layers (which would have made the house un-sellable). Once you knew what it look like (he is a proffessional and we are not), you could have easily seen the 4 layers on the garage roof. The house is older so we expected some repair but did not think the roof was in such state. It needs a total gutting.

+ -1 moreJust after we settled on our place, we found that there was a huge leak in our new home's garage, which cost us six hundred dollars to repair out of our own pockets. I kind of felt like they should have caught that. Here we were having a settlement pizza party and we discover this leak just after we have settled. Now I will say they detected a small problem with the dishwasher and we got about five hundred back at settlement for that. I would use them again, but with that being said I guess I would know what to look for now. They are not a bad business. I liked Frank a lot. I just wish they would have caught that one little thing for us.
Description of Work: Ameri Spec sent out Frank Poliferino to inspect our fourth story condo unit in New York prior to us settling on the home. We paid just over four hundred dollars for the inspection and an additional ninety-five bucks for radon testing.
