They are coming back to take care of a problem here. The leaders that they put in lead the water down into an open grass area so that it does not clog up. They did a great job. We just looked on Angie's List and they got good ratings. They were also very clean.

After my call, A & J sent a serviceman out to inspect the job, and give me a detailed estimate. When I accepted their offer, they scheduled the job within a week. Moreover, they followed up with a call the day before the service call, to confirm the date and time of service. The crew, who were very pleasant and arrived on time, advised exactly what they were going to do, and performed the service flawlessly. When the bill arrived is was the same price as the estimate.In conclusion, I was quite pleased with the professionalism, performance and customer service that A&J provided. I would certainly use them in the future, and recommend them based on my experience.

The work crew showed up and began work on time. They worked quickly and efficiently and finished the job in the time frame they had given us. The crew cleaned up everything and when they left there was no shingles, nails or mess anywhere.

Our new roof is perfect! Darren was very very helpful and solved all of our concerns. The team was significant efficient and experienced. Everything turned out better than we expected. Will definitely recommend this firm to anyone, especially Darren. The project included: installation of new roof , gutter and leader, one power fan and 4 skylights.

Great experience. I got an appointment right away, the representative came on time and was able to effectively evaluate my problem. He gave me a very reasonable estimate (lowest of 3) and did the job within the next 3 days. I'm very happy with the service/products and would definitely recommend this provider.

Very pleased with the quick and excellent work. We have had one major rainstorm since the new skylight was installed and there were no leaks! Charlie was always quick to return calls and his workers were prompt, quiet and did an excellent clean up on the work

WENT VERY WELL.......EXTREMELY PROFESSIONAL.

We've only been in our house 2.5 months but during a heavy flash flood 2 weeks ago we got some water in the basement. After inspecting post-storm we realized it was our gutters. We'd had them cleaned upon moving in but discovered it wasn't a very thorough job. We called 3 companies out to estimate but it was Bill at A&J that gave me the confidence for the job. Where previous guys just peeked in one spot of the gutters and then tried to upsell all new gutters, Bill got his ladder and climbed on top of the roof and inspected all sides of the house and the condition of the roof (all good). He even took a picture of a birds nest in one of the gutters and one area he pulled out handfuls of dirt. (I'm going to leave a bad review of the previous cleaners we used). He was able to tell the top level gutters were newer than the bottom and pointed out where we had some spillage issues. And he didn't try to upsell new gutters. I made the appt for a day I would be home to inspect the work and I was really impressed with the service. Two guys worked on the gutters, one got on the roof and pulled up the screens and cleaned stuff out and when they were done got back on the roof with a blower and cleaned away the debris on the roof and ground. They ran water in the gutters needing extensions to decide how to connect them and see how the water was gushing around the back of the house. And lastly, they disconnected the gutters running into the ground and pulled out handfuls of debris and that was where I knew our bigger problem was--clogged drainage. All this took an hour and they left it cleaner than when they arrived. Now I have to get sewer guys in to snake the inground pipes but its worth peace of mind. We will have A&J replace all the gutters in the spring since ours are old and have those horrible screens.

Darren inspected the roof for us and found some nails protruding out which was causing small leaks on my roof in heavy rains. He then applied some glue on them and said that should resolve it. I am hoping that this will resolve it too. Furthermore, he correctly predicted the age of the roof and said there is nothing wrong with it. If the leak would continue he said he will come back and take another look at it. I found Darren to be extremely honest and proficient. He didn't even charge me for the small repair he did after inspection. I give him 100% on honesty and he will definitely be the guy I will be calling for all my future roof issues.

It was great! They consulted us, gave us our options and color choices. No pressure, I fact helped us work with insurance. When the day arrived, they let us know and did not disrupt our comings and goings at all. The clean up was also impressive. The entire perimeter was magnetically swept for errant nails. We found one, maybe two, and was impressed. We were promised a vent, but when the work was done, the vent was forgotten. We made a phone call and they sent a crew to address the oversight... No hassles whatsoever. We were so impressed we recommended A&J to my mom, who is scheduled for her new roof this week, in fact!

I called them, told them what I needed. 1986 built split level home with no gutters. I needed gutters as soon as possible since I was working with several other contractors for my new purchase (the home needing gutters). They sent a representative over the next day. Three days later I had new gutters. Very straight forward.

He got up on his ladder, walked about and took cell phone photos. Instead of having a roofing or gutter problem, the rubber collar on the vent pipe was turned into itself, allowing a build up of water to cascade between the collar and the pipe, entering inot the kitchen ceiling. He fixed it by straightening out the collar and sealing it with appoxy for FREE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yes, there was no charge! How amazing was that? Darren also left his business card in case this happens again. We also got estimates for moss removal on the roof as well as gutter repairs which also needed to be done but not related to the initial problem. You better believe if they're in the ballpark, we're going to choose to hire them for any subsequent work.

I called to make an appointment. They came on time and quickly went on the roof to assess the damage. I was told that I just needed to replace some damaged or missing shingles (from Hurricane Sandy). I was given a folder with extensive information about the company (including references) and an estimate for repair. I authorized the repair and it was completed within two days. They even replaced a pipe that they said was leaking. The price seemed a bit high, but I was pleased with their promptness and professionalism.

Rep showed up, very professional. Looked at what we wanted done. Deferred measuring windows to one of his people that do windows. Left us a massive package if refernces, services... and his business card. We waited about a week or so and not contact from them So I wasn't sure if they were waiting for us or not. Got the reps business card called him and left a message. No one ever got back to us! So much for reliable.

A&J did a thorough inspection of the gutters and roof. Went up the roof and took pictures to show what needed to be done. Prepared an estimate on the spot and provided a copy of their license and certificates. The work was scheduled for a Friday at 9:00 am. The crew arrived at 8:45 am and started setting up for the work to be done. They estimated 3 hours to complete the work. I showed them another area that I missed out during the original inspection that I felt had a small defect. They also fixed it free of charge. A&J completed the work on time and cleaned up afterwards. The crew was very professional and courteous.

A&J was very professional and responsive from my initial call. They came out timely to provide a free estimate and came back to do the job within the promised timeframe. Their work met all my expectations

Charles said they will start work in 2 weeks and they started earlier then that. They arrived on time with a full crew. They tore off the old tar roof, replaced the wood in one area that needed it. I walked the roof myself and saw the rest of the wood was ok. They covered the roof with insulation and brought up the white flex roof and it started to rain. They had tarps and covered the areas that needed to be protected until the rain stopped. They used a leaf blower to get the standing water off the roof and wiped the areas that needed to be dry to heat set the edges. It did rain on and off and they had helpers holding a tarp over them while they worked. They are very professional, kept my yard and driveway clean and did a fantastic job! I had them remove a roof fan and they asked me where I wanted it stored as I plan to reuse it. Two days later the gutter guys came out to install my new gutter. I asked him if he could price out a 30' span where I needed another new gutter and he said 235.00 for an oversized gutter and downspout. My neighbor just paid 500.00 for a shorter one, using another gutter company. The gutter guys were quick, clean and did a super job replacing the old Home Depot DIY gutters that I had. Both crews were polite and professional. I noticed after they tore off my old roof another Foreman came out to look at the roof and he answered all my questions while I was on the roof with him. A & J don't drop off crews and leave them alone, they do check back. The foreman that was here working on my flat roof was very experienced and politely answered my questions. I have been patching my tar roof myself for over 5 years so I know my roof. I have complete confidence that it will not leak, especially since we had downpours that night and NO LEAKS! They gave me a 20 year warranty. I belong to a local Rockland county list and many of the members recommend A & J Reliable and now I do too. I plan to have them do my shingle roof in the future. Every time I called during business hours I get a real person. Other companies I get a machine. Communication is important.

This was a great experience from start to finish. Salesman came promptly at the appointed time, reviewed the job and presented us with a very professional presentation folder that included informational brochures about the products, copies of their workman's comp insurance and a packet of recent testimonials as well as the estimate sheet. The salesman went over all the details with us and the entire presentation was definitely a cut above the others. All the estimates were within a few hundred dollars of each other but A & J included top grade materials and some extras we would have paid extra for with the others. They honored the 5% Angie's list discount without missing a beat. Once we selected A & J, our salesman returned promptly with the shingle samples we asked to look at before we made a final decision and shortly thereafter we were contacted to schedule the work. The workmen also showed up on time on the scheduled date and finished the job in one day despite the grueling heat. When I returned home from work, the job was finished and there was not a speck of debris anywhere on my property. We have gotten so many compliments on the beautiful job and are extremely happy we chose A & J Reliable and would certainly use them again.

Charles was very professional and we enjoyed working with him because of his honesty. We will write a review after the work is completed. So far we are VERY happy with them as we got 4 other estimates and none of the other companies were as detailed and accommodating as Charles.

They’re good and they guarantee their work. They fixed our shingles again at no charge and so we would recommend them. We had our insurance take care of the cost. Their prices are reasonable. They did our gutter toppers years ago and we’ve never had any problems with that. We will definitely use them again if we need to.

Prompt response to my phone call requesting an estimate. Estimator was very knowledgeable and professional. Cleaning was scheduled and performed very efficiently. I was not home at the time of the cleaning but other than a clean roof I noticed no evidence of their work. Roof looks like new even 1 year later.
