We had scheduled our first estimate appointment last month. I re-arranged my work/parenting schedules to accommodate this first time slot, and was willing to change it for your schedule conflicts. A week later, Charlie was a no show (on a Thursday), and never called that evening. I got a call from him Friday morning, when he was very apologetic, and said he'd be flexible and willing to come by our home whenever was convenient. I waited until I had a better idea of my schedule and reached back out to Charlie via both call to his mobile and text message this afternoon. I asked to have him come by Saturday 10/10 at 10:00, but have not heard anything in response still to date. I tried reaching the office and posted a message on Angie's reaching out. We are very disappointed with what we expected to be a great experience, as A & J came highly recommended by Pete at Pete's Chimney, and "reliable" is in your name. We also get dozens of your post cards every month.

went amazingly, they were very responsive, came out, did the estimate, came in aboutn 20pct lower than next closest quote; showed up on time to do the job (started in 2 weeks), finished in less than a week; am very happy with the new roof; works great, held up to harsh winter; and keeps us warm and dry in the winter! only one little hiccup was the cleanup--there are a lot of nails that are a byproduct of putting in the roof, and we have little kids; i could tell they tried to clean up, but once those nails fall i guess its hard to get them out. but this didnt' really bother us, we just went around the house and picked them up--well worth the 2k savings if you ask me.

Perfectly. They had to take down the siding and put it back up to install the gable vent. this siding is apparently tricky as the initial install was not done well. The reinstall of that section appears to have been done properly, so far.

I originally called a few months ago to get a quote -- I contacted three suppliers from Angie's List. Two gave me quotes and one declined. A&J Reliable was the lowest at $625. They subsequently failed to return several calls and emails, and I let the matter slide. This fall I decided I needed to get the work done, and contacted them again. Several times. Finally I called the office manager who made sure the representative who gave me the quote gave me a call. The representative said he couldn't do it that week but would be able to the next week. Well the next week went by and nothing. Again no response to emails. Finally I emailed the office manager again and the next day got a promise from the representative that they would be able to do the work that Thursday. On Thursday I got a call that the crew was running late and that they'd arrive later than expected. They did show up as promised and did the work that afternoon. They were good to work with, professional, and cleaned up well when done. The job involved replacing two strips of aluminum siding across the front of the house that had to be removed for a roof repair a couple of years earlier, and replacing a couple of small pieces of trim around the front porch roof. It was the kind of annoying, small job that contractors hate. I don't expect every contractor to be willing to bother, but I do expect that anyone who does quote it to be responsive and professional about it. A&J was not, and I don't think I was unreasonable in my expectations. The aluminum siding I have is no longer made, so a perfect match was neither possible nor expected. However the job A&J did was unexpectedly sloppy -- the projection of the strips of siding was quite uneven from strip to strip. While I wasn't very happy with it, I didn't think it was worth complaining about. It was good enough and I had had enough. Finally, the original quote was $625. They sent an invoice rather than collecting payment at the time the work was done, and the invoice I got was for $675. They didn't add sales tax, which for $625 would have brought the total to a bit over $675, so again it was not worth complaining about, but it seemed less than professional. I don't think I would use A&J Reliable again. Even if they were the cheapest, it would be worth paying a few dollars more to get more responsive and (umm...) reliable service.

I'd been putting off much needed gutter repair and cleaning for fear of the cost and labor involved, but A & J Reliable Inc. could not have made things easier, and the total cost of the job came in so much lower than I'd anticipated. Following a long winter, two downspouts had fallen off of our two-story colonial, and the gutters were filled with leaves and debris. I'd contacted A & J Reliable to schedule a meeting for an estimate. The representative arrived on time and assessed our needs quickly; he was exceedingly courteous and professional. After explaining what he felt needed to be done, he left me with a comprehensive package detailing the work required and an estimate for the job. I scheduled an appointment within the week, and arrived home on the day the work was to be done to beautiful clean gutters and new downspouts--I didn't even need to be home for the work to take place! The bill arrived a few days later for the amount estimated. I would definitely use A & J Reliable Inc for any gutter repair or cleaning in the future.

Work crew rang my bell. Confirmed their work order with me. Asked if I had an external electrical outlet in the back and if they could use it. Asked if I wanted just the one or two downspouts. They went to work and were done in less than half of an hour. They asked me to take a look at their work and if I was satisfied. They were courteous, professional and efficient.

I had a great experience with this vendor. Scheduled estimate for gutter repair and the estimator arrived on time. I received an honest and fair quote. ..requested assessment of roof and again was provided honest feedback about the condition of the roof. Agreed to have the gutters and leaders replaced. Work was scheduled and again crew arrived on time. They completed the work relatively effortlessly and cleaned up the job site. ..would definitely use the vendor again.

I messaged the provider on Angie's list and received a call. Wendall came out the next day. He was prompt and courteous. What I though was going to be a major roof repair just turned out to be new rear gutters. They were able to squeeze in this now small job the next day. All work was completed quickly and neatly and no one tried to sell me anything I didn't need.

A&J was very responsive on estimating and honest. They would not perform any work unless they believe it is necessary. He indicated that my roof was 30 year grade and it still had ten year life remained while other providers did not reveal this information to me . The workers came on time and finished the work professionally. The quality was also excellent.

I was really impressed with his knowledge of my problem, the time he gave me, and how I could begin to trouble shoot it. Given his honesty, I would certainly consider him when doing future roofing work.

It was pretty good. The work was fine. They are a little bit expensive. They are local so that is why I used them.

Mark was my sales rep. He was punctual, pensive and pleasant. Unlike prior companies who tried to dupe me into paying for a complete gutter overall, he was honest in telling me that I only needed two sides of the house. Another seemingly honest company told me that I needed only half of my gutters done also, but they were a little more pricey. So, I opted to go with A & J. Mark told me when to expect the workers and they showed up within the hour that was given. The guys worked fast and cleaned up afterwards. The company's promise, price and punctuality get a thumbs up!

I never received a call to confirm the appt., and no one ever showed up. My e-mail to the provider sent 12/25 has not been responded to. How do you run a business like this? Horrible. I would never use this provider, and would definitely not recommend them. The estimate was on the high side as well.

Fast quote, fast service, good work.

They tarp they used leaked right away. Then they wanted to charge me to come fix it. I needed more work done on my roof, but they lost that job. If they couldn't do the tarp right, I wasn't sure they could do the rest of the roofing right.

Easy to make the appointment. The rep showed up within the appointed hour and was knowledgeable about the task involved. In fact, he located a seam on the gutter which made the cutting and replacement all the easier and logical. The work took place two days later and was as promised and at exactly the price quoted. Very pleased with the level of service. Would definitely use again.

I Contacted A&J Reliable in July to schedule an appointment to get a price on replacing the flat roof on my garage. I Scheduled an appointment with one of their Product and Sales Consultants, his name was Charles. Charlie arrived for this appointment on time. He said he would provide a proposal within a week. On July 15, 2014 I received their proposal for the project. After review there were several questions I had so I contacted Charles. While we were discussing the contract he suddenly said we had a bad connection and said that he would have to call me back. I said OK, no problem. The only problem was that he never called back. On August 12, 2014 I called Charles and left a message asking why he had not called back. On August 16 I received a call from Charles. He stated that he was sorry for not calling me back. We discussed his proposal, we agreed to meet on August 20, 2014 to go over the proposal one final time and finalize the contract. I told him I would bore a small hole in the corner of the roof near the building so that he could determine if there would be sufficient space to provide flashing, he stated he needed 4 to 6 inches. August 20 came and Charlie was a no show, no call. Thinking that he might have forgotten or gotten tied up or worse still taken ill I called him the next day to remind him of the missed appointment. He never responded to my voice mail. A few days latter I tried again, no response. On Friday August 29 I call A&J Reliable main number and left a message asking that someone return my call. As of the writing of this review I have still not received a return call. Although this was not the easiest of flat roofing jobs I decided to select A&J Reliable because their website states "In our experience, we have serviced such a broad array of homes and unique customer configurations,that no matter what your service needs may be, we can find the right solution." During my last conversation with Charlie he spent a lot of time telling me about A&J's ability to handle any kind of roofing configuration. He stated that A&J had done millions of dollars of commercial flat roofing jobs. Unfortunately my experience with A&J is that their sales Consultant was rude and unprofessional. Making appointments with customers and then just not showing up is completely unacceptable. Ignoring a customers calls to inquire about a missed appointment is disrespectful and insulting. If Charles, as a representative of A& J determined that his company could not do the job because they either did not want to or because their crews did not possess the skill and expertise to do this kind of work then Charles should have at least showed me the courtesy of telling me that. Anything less than that shows an unprofessional immaturity that I find troubling,

It was reasonable and they did a great job. They were very professional and just did the job. They came in and out and did a good job.

Very good! Very prompt! They are great! However they are a little expensive.

Their salesman Charles was great to deal with. Very honest, friendly and straight forward guy. I only went forward with the gutters and not the toppers/covers as I thought the toppers were expensive. They would have cost more than the gutters themselves. Charlie explained why that was the case and I have found that most high quality gutter covers do cost more than the gutters per linear foot. The price for the actual gutters was better than two other quotes I had gotten. The crew showed up on time of the installation date and Fred took time to walk thru the job with me and confirm what was to be done and answered all my questions. They were friendly and very neat. I only found one scrap piece of gutter around my house. Gutters are performing as expected and I'm very happy with the result. A great experience all around. Definitely recommend these guys!

From the guy who set up the appt. over the phone to sales consultant Bill Scott who came to my house to give me an estimate to Ulises and his partner that did the work. Everyone was professional and punctual. They came to my house around 9:30am removed the old gutter and fascia board installed the new ones (1 22' 5"gutter and 1 24' fascia board) and took all debris with them all in just under 2 hours.

They were prompt and seemed informed. Every time was easy to schedule. It was easy to schedule the appointment and they came on time. Everything just went smoothly.
