A&J Reliable was one of only a few companies to consider my request following hurricane sandy. Many other contractors were too busy or not taking any new jobs due to the demand following the storm. A rep from A&Jcame to home within a few days of my request and gave me an immediate written estimate that I could provide to my insurance company. We scheduled the job shortly thereafter and the job was completed within a few weeks time. We did have to reschedule once at their request due to a issue with one of their vehicles. However, overall I am very happy and would us them again.

My house looks brand new. They did a great job. Their workmanship was first rate. I had an idea but the salesman suggested a different idea and his was much better than mine. I cannot say anything bad about them at all.

I called for estimate, spoke to a very polite gentleman. They said they would send someone in 2 to 4 days. They came on time ,gave me an estimate. I called back, told them to do the work. They came (2 very nice men) did the work,said they would send a bill and that was it. All in all it was a very nice experience. No fuss no trouble no mess. Thankyou angies list. This is my second job done by an Angies List recommendation and I am more than satisfied with jobs.

After having a bad experience with another roofer, and getting several outrageous quotes and scope of work A & J came in, quoted and did the job. My roof needed to be "hand nailed" using longer nails that nail guns use. A & J was the only one who explained the problem and was willing to do the job. They removed the old shingles and then "hand nailed" the new shingles - did a great job. Fast cleaned up, crew did what I was told they would do - AND - the leaks stopped. I would use then again and would recommend then to anyone who needs roofing. If I ever do have a problem in the future, they will get the call. Really satisfied - I trust this company.

Installation was completed in about a half a day. No majors issues during the install. One item that was discussed with the sales associate, Darren, regarding the one leader and spacing off the 4x4 post. The foreman did not install the leader correctly after Darren relayed the information to him. I phoned Darren and the issue was rectified the following day by Darren. Darren was an exceptional sales associate. He went above and beyond his responsibilities. He is the primary reason I went with AJ Reliable.

The company was extraordinarily responsive. Within 24 hours of my call a courteous and competent manager had examined our roof and give us an estimate for the non-pressure dry wash of the front roof where mold was obvious and for the entire house. He explained that this crew would be prepared to do the work two days hense and that he would meet them on the job and take responsibility that the work was performed as requested. We could not be physically present but felt confident that he (I wish I noted his name) would fulfill his promise; he did. The price charged was only for the actual cleaning and treatment of the roof. The other things requested -removing a large antennae and gutter cleaning andminor fixes were done without additional charge.

They were fantastic. They were really nice. They were quick, on time, neat, and did not leave anything behind. I would definitely use them again.

We were completely pleased with A & J's roofing job and gutter replacement. Their workers were expert, prompt, courteous, efficient, and neat. A & J was indeed reliable: Their workers came when they said they would and completed the job right on schedule. I was especially impressed with Darren, A & J's salesman. He explained the project to us in lay terms and patiently answered all our questions. His remarkably friendly, sincere, and low-pressure manner made us feel confident that his company would treat us fairly.

From the first phone call I made to this company to the time they cleaned up and left it was a seamless operation. I was given a date for an estimate very quickly. Wendall, the sales rep, was knowledgable, friendly, and honest about what my I did and didn"t need for my gutters and roof. The contract was very clearly written and when the bill came there were no surpises. I did not have to wait long for an installation date. The workers were courteous, friendly, and conscientious. The clean up was fantastic. It rained hard shortly afterwards and the gutters worked just fine. Charles, came and talked with me about installing a new skylight. He, too, was friendly and took the time to discuss the details of the project. His workers arrived on time, did a super job, and cleaned up after themselves. I had some questions after speaking with Wendall and Charles and found it very easy to reach them or have them get back to me on a timely basis. Overall, I was very pleased with this company!

I thought they did a good job. The crew showed up and it was all done in one day. The only thing that I didn't like is that I had them put the soffit up. My house is a two-story tall, so there is now raw wood two-story up in the front. I would have liked them to paint it, but maybe I should have asked ahead of time. Other than that, I have no complaints.

Work was performed with great attention to detail, extreme cleanliness and protecting all adjacent surfaces. Gutter installation crew arrived as the roof installation crew had completed there work. Both roof installation crew and gutter installation crew worked in a professional and timely manner. Both crews cleaned up all the debris after the work. All work was completed within the proposed time frame and without any surprises. We are very satisfied and highly recommend this company.

The work cost a little more than I anticipated but when I saw the final quality and the excellent results I was totally satisfied. The work was top notch and the area was clean and neat after the work was completed. I would recommend them to anyone.

They were very efficient. Their team was excellent, respectful, and conscientious. They cleaned up beautifully and we are very pleased. They didn't quiet finish due to not have an extra leader and he came the next morning to put it on so he was very efficient.

Estimator named Joe Doshe showed up on time. Knowlegeable and a likeable guy. Suggested alternative choices for how to approach roof replacement and venting. Good common sense approaches, and honest enough to tell me a few things he knew I didn't want to hear (but were true). Two of four estimators I spoke with glossed over the hard parts of the conversation (extra expense related to ventilation). So I liked that he was interested in doing things correctly, rather than just telling me what i wanted to hear to get my business. Estimate was professional and thorough, but missed an item, when this was mentioned, he came back to look at item and revised estimate. Estimate was 2nd most expensive of 4. After discussion was willing to work on price to get job. Came in near center between highest and lowest bids. Crew was ready to perform quickly and very accomodating regarding timing. They brought in a large crew and finished job in 4 work days. Left site very clean. Protected landscaping properly. We had big thunderstorms for 4 days in the middle of job with only 1/2 of the roof done. They had tarps tied down to protect the exposed sections of roof. Have to admit i expected the worst, but they protected the roof quite well and there were no leaks in spite of heavy rain and high winds. I thought that was very impressive. Overall they did a good job. There were just a few punchlist items at job end and a place or two where they might have done a prettier job . Since it's a large victorian house with lots of intersections and detail areas, I would have been shocked if I had no punchlist items, so I was very satisfied to have so few items on the punchlist. Joe came back, walked the job with me and crew took care of those items within a week. My only difficulty during the project was that crew did not speak english well, which made communication a bit frustrating at times, and they therefore also did not communicate with me about job progress (whats going on tomorrow, when are you leaving today, what if it rains tonight...etc.). In truth though, they got the job done right with minimal involvement from me , in spite of some big storms in the middle of the project, so maybe that's actually the best situation (performance rather than conversation). Compared with some of the roofer and gutter contractor tales hear from friends and neighbors, my job went really well. I recommend them highly.

I met with the representative to discuss what I wanted the quote to include. He provided a verbal estimate of $6000.00. He then asked if that was high or low and I replied high. At that point he assumed that I was going to choose the low bidder. Choosing the low bidder is not what I necessarily had planned on doing. I always try to get at least three bids and will make my final decision based on the courtesy and the professionism of the sales person. When he refused to provide a written bid I eliminated him as a potential contractor. I recieved a follow up call from the owner of the company and that is why I have amended my evaluation. He apologized for the experience that I had with his salesman. I have agreed to allow them to bid on the siding work that we want to have done.

The job went extremely well. I was very pleased with their prompt and complete service. The 2 year warranty was also comforting in light of the fact that I live in a heavily wooded area. The crew, led by Freddie was efficient and professional. I highly recommend A & J Reliable, they live up to their name.

Our gutters had been leaking in several places for awhile. I thought they had holes. As noted above, A & J Reliable provided an easy and affordable repair without trying to sell us new gutters or roof repairs.

Replacing a roof is a big investment and with the help and guidance from Charles the process went smoothly. From the very beginning to the very end Charles managed all details of the project and responded timely to all my inquires. Everything stated was done and there were NO surprises. I still can?t believe my roof was done so quickly, cleanly, and painlessly. I wish all home improvements went this well. Although I received several estimates for the project ,the sales consultant delivered a through and realistic analysis of what was needed to correct two old and problamatic roof tops.I commend the entire crew for completing the work in an organized ,efficient and tidy manner.With no hesitation ,I would recommend A&J roofing to all .
