It's a small company, so one of the owners of the company is the painter. He contacted me the night before the scheduled job to confirm paint color and finish. He arrived on time the day of the job. He put down appropriate protection for my carpet and furniture and helped move some of the furniture. He was very concerned about getting appropriate coverage of the walls which, in 2 of the 3 rooms, originally had dark colors. He ended up putting on 4 coats to make sure it was done properly. In order to do this, he had to make a special trip back to the paint store to get more paint. Overall the job took about 6 hours. I appreciated his concern for protecting my property and the pride he took in doing a high quality job. It took about a month to get scheduled, but that only tells me that he is in demand and I was OK with waiting for someone who would do a great job, which he did. I would definitely bring him back when I need more painting done.

For over two years we had tried to remove wallpaper from our stairway. We had several contractors come out and look at it, no one was confident that they could do it. I finally joined Angies list and contacted some professionals from there. I had two people come out. I choose Ladies & Lads with Ladders, because I felt their estimate was fair. We set up a date, Kevin came out as discussed. He was able to complete the job in less time than expected. My husband was concerned with the mess that the job would make, much to his surprise when he came home-Kevin was finished with no mess left behind and the job very well done. Kevin and his wife were very professional and very willing to complete the job as I had requested. As he worked on the job, he would inform me of what he was doing and assure me there would be no mess, no smell and no clean up. I can't tell you how happy we were to find them, after living with torn up walls for two years. Thank you Kevin.

Everything went very well, from the initial estimating process all the way through a re-coat a wall that had some roller fuzz. Kevin is a remarkable painter - knowledgeable, efficient, personable, fast, accurate - can't say enough good things about him and this company. I always enjoy watching someone work who really knows what they're doing and Kevin certainly knows his way around paints, stains, brushes and rollers. He humored me by answering my dozens of questions - truth be told, we hired him to do the "hard" parts of our remodel and I'm painting the "easy" rooms. I'll tell you what though, I learned so much about how to be a better homeowner-painter by watching Kevin and asking questions. My new motto is: "get a good roller, paint fast, be fearless and don't worry so much". In the span of one day, he stained and put 2 coats of poly on the sliding door (with separate window divider pieces), stained and put 3 coats of poly on the window (with embedded window dividers) and molding, and 2 coats on the lower/upper hall areas. I will certainly be looking to hire Kevin in the future for any painting or staining work that I don't want to tackle myself.

Everything was great from the estimate to the clean-up. Extremely punctual and Kevin is a very fast worker.... at one point he had to take a short break to wait for an area to dry so he could proceed. Truly amazing how neat he paints without even taping off woodwork. The estimate included paint which I preferred to buy myself ( since I love BEHR ultra paint) They took a substantial discount off the estimate because I supplied it. I WOULD DEFINATELY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY! Thanks !

Professional and outstanding job, as well as cleaning up after the job was completed. He called me afterwards to make sure that I was satisfied. I plan to have them come back and perform more jobs for us in the future.

Ladies and Lads with Ladders painted all of our pine wood trim: fire place mantel, windows, doors, and skylights to a crisp white. It really updated the look of our townhome. Lynn arrived on time for estimate, and was pleasant and professional. Kevin followed up to schedule a date and gave me a reminder call to obtain color info and re-confirm date. Kevin did a very good job and was very neat. I needed to leave before Kevin finished and felt completely comfortable leaving Kevin to finsh and lock the hosue up. Which he did, following my instructions to the letter. This is the second time I've had Kevin in my home to paint and will continue to hire him as the need arises.

Lynn arrived on time to give a quote. She was very professional and thorough. After speaking to Kevin on phone, agreed on a date and time. He arrived on time yesterday and worked steadily all day. Returned today, on time, and once again worked steadily all day. He did a fantastic job. He moved the furniture that needed to be moved and replaced it today when the job was complete. He was a pleasure to work with. He will be returning later this year to paint the bedrooms. Highly recommend this local company.

Kevin was fantastic, he did an excellent job. He went above and beyond, it was so refreshing to have someone working in my house that has pride in the job they do. I recommend Kevin who wants someone that will meet your expectations.

It went great! The estimate was reasonable so we set up a time for Kevin to come to do the work. The wait time from estimate to date of work was about 5 weeks. I actually never met Kevin face to face. He came to our house while we were working. He was there when he said he'd be there. He did exactly what he said he would do. He communicated to my wife and I before, during and after the work was finished. Kevin had to apply a coat of sealant to the walls because I had botched the wallpaper removal so badly ahead of us hiring this company. It had to dry 24 hours minimal for moister protection. He returned the next scheduled day to sand. Then, he returned later that same day to paint. He cleaned up after himself - there was no dust or trails of mess - I would not have known he was there except for the exceptional finished product. Kevin called later to see if we were satisfied and to explain that paint needs to set up and cure for best results. Two business days of work top to bottom.

Very easy to work with, work was done on time, did a very good job. We were very pleased with the whole experience.

The process from the initial consultation/estimation to the end of the work being completed was a great experience. Kevin called the night before our appointment and we gave him the name, color, brand and finish of the paint we wanted. He arrived a little after 9am and completed the job before 3pm. The fact that the job was started and finished while our kids were in school was great! Our newly painted areas look awesome and we are beyond happy with the finished product. Kevin was professional, personable, and knowledgable. We are definitely happy with our decision to have Ladies and Lads with Ladders paint our home! BONUS: The "estimation" is the actual cost of the job unless you change the services/areas. No unexpected costs increases.

Lynn was very clear from the beginning on what would be done, how they would do it, and the cost. Kevin did the prep and painting. He contacted me the day before the job to confirm a starting time and gave me an approximate time that the project would take to complete. Everything that they explained to me was accurate and the work was done professionally to quality standards.

Ladies and Lads with Ladders were GREAT! They were professional but very friendly. Kevin answered all my questions with complete knowledge. After painting one of the bedrooms in a blue that I chose, I hated it. He didn't hesitate to offer to redo the room and the adjoining closet...and it's not an easy room to do. I received a call the night before they were to arrive to ask about colors and were there any "issues" that I might have that could be answered before they arrived. Kevin arrived the next morning EXACTLY when he said he would and he and his wife were here when I got home from work....they worked full days-every day. I liked the fact that they started the job and stayed with the job until it was done...no, "we'll be back in a day or two because we have to go to another site, etc.". I was told they would start on Monday and finish on Friday..and they did. Equipment was always neatly in the corner of my dining room for the next days work...nothing was ever "left around". I can't possibly say enough good things about this company!!! They will always have any painting jobs I want done. I just wish they did exterior work!!!!!!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Kevin arrived on the date we had agreed on two months before, having called the evening before. He did a great job. His painting was excellent and he cleaned up afterwards. He completed the job in the time and for the amount previously estimated. I intend to use him again and would highly recommend him to friends.

We received a reasonable quote very quickly after contacting the company. The painter arrived on time, was extremely professional and did great work. Very meticulous! I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

They were very responsive from the estimate and scheduling to the actual service. When only one person showed up the morning of our appointment we thought that the service might take a few days. However, he worked extremely quickly and was done by 5pm that evening. The job was very well done and the rooms were perfectly clean by the time the job was done.

They were very good and I would use them again in a minute. They were very professional, they were there when they said they would be there, and did exactly what they said they were going to do. Their price was reasonable as well. It was just an overall great experience.

I went to Angie's List to look for painters in my area. I read the reviews for Ladies and Lads with Ladders and decided to call them for an estimate. I was very impressed with the promptness and professionlism and that was just for the estimate. I felt the estimate was very reasonable so I made an appointment to have the work done. I must say again, I was very impressed with the promptness and professionlism - the work was done with great quality and the room looks beautiful. I was surprised how fast the room was painted. I think it took me longer to decide on a color. I was also very impressed how neat the painter (Kevin) was. If it weren't for the color change in the room you would not have known he was there - extremely neat!!! The stain applied to the woodwork was also done in the same manner. I have more painting that needs to be done so I will definitely be calling on them again.

They were wonderful from the estimating process through and including giving me the bill. Professional all the way. We could not be happier. Our friends and family all are very impressed with the work. We have recommended them to three other people.

Painting was excellent. Kevin was very neat and proficient overall and carefully cleaned up after himself. There were no splatters or drips on the flooring or trim.
