ROSS WINDOW CORP

We waited two months for the order to come in. When they arrived, they didn't fit: the windows had not been measured correctly. The workers then pushed ahead and tried to install them anyway, resulting in substantial damage to the window sills. The sills were opened up to accommodate the window frames. Almost every window sill was damaged enough to provide access to the space between the drywall and the siding of the house. Some even exposed the insulation, and some let light and wind around the window frame. The damage was worse than any sill damage my handyman has ever seen. The owner seemed surprised that his workers could do this when we reported it to him. We then had to document the damage by photographing throughout the building where it had been done. Despite this, no compensation was offered for the damage -- only modest repairs. After the workers left, we found they'd stolen hundreds of dollars of my handyman's tools. I wanted to complain to the Ross owner again, but my handyman didn't, writing it off as the cost of doing business. I think he was so complacent because of all we'd been through with the Ross people already.

THEY WERE A FINE COMPANY AND THEY DID A FINE JOB. WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH THE JOB THAT WAS DONE. THE WINDOW WORKS JUST GREAT NOW. THEY CAME OUT A DAY OR TWO AFTER WE CALLED THEM AND DID THE WORK WELL.
