QUALITY HOME INSPECTIONS

Shocked about how unprofessional a person could be. STAY AWAY FROM HIM. Anthony was very rude, unprofessional. He got very frustrated and fumed when asked about details about what he covered. He insulted us mentioning that our home inspection was a worse way to start his day. May God bless him and give him some peace and attitute of empathy towards his clients.

As a first time home purchasers, we were quite nervous on how and whom to select as an inspector. After doing research through the internet and various blogs and reviews sites (this is before we were Angie's List members), we settled on Quality Home Inspections as his reviews were far and away much better than any others we viewed. When he I contacted the owner, Anthony, he was personable, took the time to explain the process to me and even agreed to meet me the follwing afternoon as I needed the inspection done quickly before going in the following day for foot surgery which would not have allowed me to tag along during the inspection. Anthony showed up on time and immediately set to work reviewing the property, even though the listing agent was a few minutes late. Our future home was built in the 1920's, so there were some potential issues to discuss and much to look at. When I asked Anthony if I could join him, he enthusiastically agreed and when I told him that being a handy person, I would effect many of the minor repairs, he took the time at every turn to stop and explain a problem or potential problem, how he would fix it and the degree of difficulty. He spent a total of almost three hours reviewing the house from top to bottom and submitted a comprehensive report within 24 hours. I had to remind home of payment as he was about to leave without a check! On the way out, he turned and came back in and told us that he forgot to inspect a detached garage that is away from the house and easy to miss. He completed his service in a professional and complete manor and I would highly recommedn him to any potential homeowner.

Anthony Scirghio showed up 30 minutes early, while the home owners were still there, without letting me know that he's coming early. When I showed up at 3:30, assuming that he would have a half an hour at the home by himself, he proceeded to act p***** off, asked me to sign off on the inspection and told me he's late for another appointment. When I complained that we need to do a walk through at least, he stormed out of the house while demanding that I pay him. DO NOT USE this guy.... I found him completely unprofessional, impatient and downright rude. As far as I can tell he rushed through the inspection and never bothered inspecting the roof (no sign of a ladder on his ML series Mercedes) Anthony also insulted me on his way out, literally adding insult to injury.
