Description of Work: Muffetta's helped us out on short notice when we needed a housekeeper. They went out of their way to fulfill our housekeeping needs. Angie or Troy came by regularly to check if the work was done according to our standards. They are very professional and provide great housekeepers on short notice and at reasonable cost. I would definitely recommend them!

Description of Work: 2-person team performed intensive cleaning job to prepare house for Thanksgiving entertaining. I appreciated that they were very flexible and responsive to my requirements and scheduling needs. Hard workers!

Description of Work: clean the entire apartment

Description of Work: I was looking for a person to come in 3 times a week to do cleaning, errands and dog-walking. Muffetta's responded promptly and found someone to fill the job description within 48 hours. They were also very thorough in querying my exact needs and wishes and equally thorough in describing this person and what was included in the hourly fee. This person has now been working for 2 weeks and I am very happy with her professionalism and her skills.

Description of Work: I called to see if they were interested in giving me an estimate, and someone called me back to say that it was a bit too far. They were very professional on the phone and the man sounded very nice. I appreciated the call back.

Description of Work: I don't remember the exact date in July 2012, but I spoke with Troy, Muffetta's representative. He was very pleasant and helpful since this was my first time choosing to hire a home cleaning service. He assured me that if I had any concerns I should ask and I did and he answered to every question. After setting up the appointment, he later telephoned me prior to the date of service, to assure me that the assistant, Brigett would arrive at the time agreed upon. Brigett was prompted, efficient and professional. And she had a very pleasant personality. Before she left, she asked me to check to see if everything was done to my satisfaction. A few days later, Troy telephoned me to ask if I was satisfied with the job and I agreed without hesitation. I am planning to call Muffetta's Domestic Assistants again. It was a pleasure to speak with Troy and receive the services of the assistant, Brigett. The services performed were cleaning the bathroom, vaccuming the hall, stairs, and livingroom, dusting the livingroom, and cleaning and mopping the kitchen floor.

Description of Work: Muffetta's team of two people cleaned my parent's 2 story house of 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Troy, the contact person was attentive via phone and email. Although Muffetta didn't service my parent's area anymore at that time, they accommodated us. It was easy to make an appointment within approximately a week. They were punctual and thorough and we're all happy with the job they did. We only used them once because for the most part my parents have been able to manage on their own. We hired Muffetta because at that time the housework was a bit much. It gave my parents the break and help they needed. If they can accommodate us again in the future we would hire them again.

Description of Work: On Monday, September 19, 2011 a housecleaner arrived 15 minutes late for the first day of cleaning. The office neglected to give her the code to get into my community or my last name so she was stuck on the street until a neighbor let her in. She was very personable but not very experienced. It was presented to me by Troy in the office that the employees were highly experienced. My particular person stayed 8 hours and did not finish the job. She never changed the pad on the hardwood floor mop and continued to wash it using a filthy swiffer. She left the mop in my entryway and it marked the floor. She could not make the bed, it looked like a kid did it. I have no help, so I was willing to give her another try. She was supposed to be here at 9 am today 9/26/11. She never showed and no one called me. When I called to inquire, I was told she was sick and besides wasn't I a biweekly customer -whatever that meant. I told Troy in the office that it was way too expensive for amateurish behavior and that I was canceling the service. He didn't seem to care. Then I got an email telling me "he was human and makes mistakes ..blah blah" and he would give me 50% off the next cleaning. They aren't worth even the $150.00 that would cost me. For $35.00 an hour plus tax I expected much much better than this.
