This company was assigned to me by my home warranty company to address a problem I was having with my heating system. The heat was not working only cool air was coming from the vent. They came out on 10/5 sending 2 technicians Jimmy and another older man who's name I did not catch but was in a hurry to finish the job. They took a look at my furnace, flipped a switch and advised I could use the heat only on the emergency heat setting because I needed a new heat pump thermostat which they did not have with them and would have to return to install. That installation of the new thermostat occurred on 10/9 when Jimmy returned to install the thermostat and then informed me, despite the new thermostat the unit was only heating via the emergency heat setting. They would need to return a third time to check the unit on the outside. On 10/15 the older man returned to check the outside unit, he fiddled with the new thermostat, walked outside to check the unit and after spending 30 minutes troubleshooting informed me that he would have to call the warranty company to send another repair company out because he "could not figure out what was wrong with the unit and couldn't fix it." I confirmed with him that he would be calling the warranty company that day and he reassured me that he would. That I shouldn't worry, I wouldn't have to repay the $100 fee again and that next I would be hearing from the next heating repair company. Over the weekend the situation worsened where now the new thermostat doesn't read properly, doesn't trigger the emergency heat to turn on or off appropriately and registers a fixed temperature reading of 73 degrees where my home is clearly in the 50 degree range. After calling home warranty company this morning at 730a, I was informed that they had no record of JMC calling to report the inability to repair the unit. I contacted Michelle in their office who after rudely telling me that she had "just spoken to my warranty company" proceeded to ask me what else she could do and refused to apologize or even rectify in any way the lack of follow-through and professionalism from her employee. When I began to inform her that now the thermostat they installed is also not functioning properly she hung up on me! I attempted to call back on but was directed to their voicemail service. I strongly discourage any one from using this company for anything related to heating repairs. They obviously do not employ competent heating repair technicians or customer service staff with skills beyond hanging up on customers they have duped.

Description of Work: They came by to take a look at my central air which was leaking. Overall they were on time, and cordial. However, after looking at the unit, the technician told me that my insulation wasn't properly installed and that he could not help me fix the leak. I had to pay him $100 for the inspection as required by my insurance company. | |After getting a second company to come out I was told that the condenser was broken and needed to be replaced, which fixed the problem. Aside from not diagnosing the issue correctly, which resulted in the leak causing even more damage, the company would not send me a receipt for the $100 payment. I had send text messages to the technician multiple times and have not received a response. I needed a receipt for tax keeping records and failing to provide me with one is below the minimum standard of service I expect from any company.
