Excellent from start to finish. Any issue that came up, such as extensions for skimmers, they handled quickly and properly. Smoothest home improvement I have ever had.

I received an email and a phone call to remove my review. They say my statements are incorrect. I agree that there are some incorrect statements, so I am updating my original review with corrected statements in brackets. Re-post of the original review on 5/30 The Dr Pavers came and spent quite some time measuring and taking notes. They were not able to provide an estimate on site and took quite some time - I think around 3 days after a couple of emails I sent. [My appointment was made for 5/10, and I received estimate via electronically on 5/13 electronically, so in my mind that's three days since the appointment. I suppose if you count 2 business days after the appointment, that would mean I should have received the estimate on 5/12, but since 5/13 was a Saturday, so I suppose you could argue that Sat/Sun doesn't count.] The price was a bit high, but given many positive reviews, we came to an agreement via email, with about $2k discount from $17k for cash (personal check) payment, which I specifically confirmed throughout the negotiation process. However, weekend before the start date, which was set about 3 weeks from the first contact because they didn't have availability, I was told that check payment would not be acceptable, [this statement is incorrect, it should have been "check payment would not be acceptable to receive the discount of $2k] and after a couple of communications back and forth via email, I decided to cancel the service. To be fair, they did offer accepting check payment at the last stage of the email correspondences [They offered an option of paying with personal check, which I thought was agreed upon the first time, but after having said that I am terminating the service, this offer was made], but by that time, I was fed up with communication back and forth, especially being told of this information at the last minute. Also, I would like to disagree with Dr. Paver's response to my review. Again, it my personal opinion that my understanding is different from theirs. The following statement from Dr. Paver is incorrect: "Work was closed, scheduled and when setting down payment date few days prior to starting date this customer was contacted for the down payment collection [This statement is true] and that's when customer informed that they would like to change payment method [I did not request to change method of payment; I asked for clarification on the payment notification request that was different from my understanding. On 5/25, I received an email asking confirmation for two different figures for payment - $17k for check, and $15k for cash. This was different from my understanding because on 5/16, I emailed with a request of "Could we do for 15k even, all cash (personal check)?", which was received with a positive response, so I assumed personal check for $15k was acceptable. I sent a confirmation on 5/23 based on that information.] from previous agreement. ( at the end we came up with a compromising plan )" [This statement is incorrect. There was no compromising plan. There was only agreement to terminate the service]

It was fine. They took too long to get the estimate back to me so I chose another provider to get the work done. That's why I didn't choose them. The estimate was pretty detailed. They could be more responsive. Once I was able to reach them, they were very responsive but just getting the initial quote out took them too long. They recognized that when they got it back to me but at that point, it was too late. I needed the work done. I got a quote from somebody else. They were on time to show up and give me the quote.

It went very well. I was extremely impressed with the quality of work. Robert (if I am remembering his name correctly) was extremely professional and courteous. My bathroom looked so pristine afterwards! I highly recommend this company.

This is another steller review for new services we had done to our property 1 year ago (I'm very overdue in writing my review). This was the 2nd time we hired Doctor Pavers, and he didn't disappoint! In fact they were so incredibly accommodating to our schedule as we had some other work being done to our property that would affect the same area (new gas line being installed and an air condition compressor unit), and Doctor Pavers were awesome enough to pave just an area for the air condition compressor while we waited for our ground to be dug up for gas line install for which we did not have a date for. Doctor pavers were wonderful in being flexible with our crazy scheduling needs and then when work began we found out we needed a permit. Roberto quickly took care of handling the permit process for us and once everything was approved they were able to resume work. We've now had our side walkway path, new retaining wall, a garden wall, a new side door entrance stoop complete with stairs all performed by Doctor pavers and everything still looks great! They had did our front walkway summer of 2014 and that looks great too still. We are so happy with doctor pavers and highly recommend them to everyone we know who may need masonry work. They are true professionals who respond and give quotes and show up to do the work! Thank you to Doctor Pavers and their team for making our house look transformed!

Ben and Roberto showed up when they were supposed to, were pleasant and helpful, did not nickel-and-dime, and completed the job quickly, professionally, and at reasonable cost. I expect to use their services again.

Their philosophy is quality, professionalism, and customer service. They met all of these at the highest level. Robert was on-time for his appointments and was very responsive to emails and phone calls. We obtained three estimates and his was the lowest. He spent the time to explain things and make recommendations. His crew was on-time, hard-working, friendly and very accommodating when we had a couple of changes. I waited a year after the project was finished before I posted this review; I wanted to see how the project held up. They did an amazing, high quality job and we have received many comments about the results. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Doctor Pavers are so good and so fairly priced I keep having them come back to build me more things. They show up on-time, work quickly, they're professional and very fairly priced for the work they do. I 100% recommend these guys. Roberto and his team will treat you right and offer professional and artistic suggestions based on their years of experience. By far my favorite contractor I've every hired for any project.

They did a wonderful job. The estimate process was easy and we never felt pressured. The first time Robert came out we didn't end up going forward with the project but when we picked it back up a few months later they came out again with no hesitation. The work was done quickly and communication via email was always fast and easy. The whole front looks so nice, neighbors are always stopping by to let us know how good it looks, even the delivery guys have commented on it. I would definitely hire them again in the future.

I just want to say we were very happy with Doctor Pavers in all respects. We were happy with the beautiful results (we have gotten numerous compliments about our bluestone patio from neighbors, friends and our contractor), as well as the process -- both the courteous and professional crew and supervisors (Reginaldo and Marco) we worked with, and at the office (Andressa, who always got back to us quickly with regard to our fairly frequent questions and concerns). The whole project took a week (whereas estimates from other contractors were much longer),and the cost was several thousand less than other estimates. Doctor Pavers may not offer as wide a range of stone and pavers as more boutique and more expensive landscapers, but if you are willing to do some research in advance, know basically what you want (first language of many workers and supervisors is Portuguese, but communication was generally not a problem) , and are a little flexible, I think Doctor Pavers is a great choice.

Doctor Pavers did a wonderful job on our patio. They were always on time and great to work with, very courteous and polite and they always cleaned up our yard at the end of each day. We had a large raised patio that had to be removed and it was a difficult job but they had a team working all day on it and they had it done in 4 days. They had the new patio completed shortly after and when I asked to extend the patio they did it with no issue. The work they did looks wonderful and when we got a stain on our front pathway, they were very responsive and came back and replaced the stones quickly.

We recently had a new driveway and walk put in with granite border. It was time to have the driveway sealed, but I was concerned about blacktop sealer splattering onto new walkway or granite border. Dr. Paver's men were extra cautious to prevent any splatter while doing a terrific job on the driveway itself. When the job was complete, I asked Roberto, the owner of the company, to give me a quote on some additional work to be done. I told Roberto I will get back to him on the additional work once I considered his proposal. Knowing the quality of work he does, I will seriously consider his proposal for the additional work. Very prompt in the response, scheduling and performing work. All completed as needed. Clean, efficient with great professionalism.

Excellent work, good humor from the crew, a strong crew foreman and it was done on time with very good quality. This is the second time we've used them for a major project. The cost was also below other estimates and the quality was excellent.

It came out beautifully! The design was even better than we had originally imagined it. Work was done efficiently - everything was completed within 1-2 weeks. Reasonable price for great result.

Everything went smooth, from the estimate, to the demo, to the installation. The crew was prompt, hardworking and cleaned up after the job. The gentlemen were open to suggestions and explained the process thoroughly before and during job. They demoed the staircase and replaced it with a solid staircase. The pavers were installed without incident and they look great.

The quotes were very good. The were fast and professional. During the paving process, the guy replaced the chipped paver even before I get a chance to tell him. When my driveway didnt come out the way I wanted, Robert sent his people twice to fix it. It is perfect now.
