The team arrived on time, and completed the work efficiently and within one day, despite the intense heat. They were professional and courteous, and did a great job. We would definitely recommend Doctor Pavers for masonry work.

The appointment was at 9:00am. I showed up at 8:45 and waited until 9:30. When I called to find out what happened, I was informed that their men had arrived at 8:30 and left. After that was straightened out, they did a credible job.

The weather has delayed this work over and over, but Juliano stayed in touch until they could get here. I had been attracted by the coupon as a good way to get a job I couldn't otherwise afford done, and he was very nice when I said the work had to fit within the amount of the coupon, even if it meant doing less. I think I chose a job that fit the coupon and his workers made an effort to get the whole job done in the time I had paid for ($150, 3 hours). They were early (8:15 for 9:00), offered to come back later if that was more convenient (no need) and set right to work. Pleasant, polite and finished by the time I returned from an errand at 11:30. Thorough cleanup, hazard tape as a reminder to stay off the stairs. Well worth having back when I can manage it.

My experience with Doctor Pavers went well. Their prices were pretty good. There were two guys there, which should have made the work go a little faster, I thought. But, it was mostly a hot day so I think that kind of slowed them down a little bit.

Workmen worked very h****** very hot day. But at the end, the presented us with a bill for 2 additional hours that we did not authorize. I also thought that the work on the brick steps could have been more thorough.

Juliano (Roberto's partner at Doctor Pavers) was professional and courteous staying in contact with me until a suitable and convenient date was available for the work to be done. Once the date was set the rest of the day went as follows: Has to be the best experience with a contractor ever!! Roberto and his assistant arrived right on time, and got to work. I had pointed out the areas of stone walls that needed the repair but they didn't stop there. They proceeded to patch entire walls and walkways to insure a complete and finished look to the job. Their approach was professional, and it was evident that Roberto takes tremendous pride in the quality and thoroughness of his work. Their enthusiasm and desire to insure that I was satisfied is refreshing in this day of questionable providers out there. I truly felt that I received more than my monies worth and I offered to pay more ( How often does that happen when work is done on your house?). However to Roberto's credit, they gave an estimate and stuck to it. His bottom line was insuring a quality job, a great price, and my complete satisfaction. They thoroughly cleaned the driveway, and removed all debris from the property. Can't wait to recommend them to anyone in need of masonry work. Fantastic job, thank you Doctor Pavers.

Juliano contacted me and asked for pictures, and then scheduled a date and time. Crew of 2 showed up on time and got to work right away. It was a hot day and stone work is such hard work but they worked diligently and were very nice. I was in and out of the house most of the day. The work took all day and what I got at the end was very nice and fancy. I was very pleased. I asked Roberto to prepare an estimate of redoing my patio also, which I received in a couple of days. This was a very pleasant experience.

This is the 2nd time I hired this company. Two men arrived punctually and spent one afternoon doing this work, they also repaired some steps in the same area. I am happy with the work and the price, would hire them again.

I highly recommend Doctor Pavers. Roberto and Juliano were prompt, professional, and friendly. They repaired cracked and loose bricks on our chimney and filled holes in the cement. Our chimney now looks fantastic and we do not have to worry about leaks. I was extremely impressed by the quality of their work and service level.

Juliano and Roberto are a pleasure to work with. Juliano came to quote the job. He arrived early and was completely professional, turning around the quote during the weekend. Roberto and the crew met and exceeded every expectation and their work is excellent. During the job we asked them to do more than the initial estimate. They came up with great solutions and finished everythig and then some in the time promised. Very fair price and made room for us in their schedule very quickly. These guys are the best, they listen well, their work is flawless and they honor every commitment they make. I am happy to write this great review and I will hire them again, any time.

The previous reviews were right on: Completely delightful contractor experience from soup to nuts. We got an initial estimate from the favorite high end mason in our area who has done exemplary work in the past. But the pricing was just too high for the project, and we were aware that every little extra would be added to the amount. No give at all. Dr Pavers set their sites on the total job. They found ways to execute ideas in a cost effective way, they came up with new solutions for handling a project within our cost parameters, and completed the job without breaks until it was done. Every day we saw them doing extra stuff that wasn't in the original scope. Only when they found one area that really needed an overhaul did they suggest we add some work and increase the number, and not by all that much. Juliano is the front man and we were hugging each other when the project was completed. He has endless ideas, is frank about his opinion even if it means we don't do a part of the job that we originally intended. He's looking at the whole picture and his goal is a satisfied customer and good work. Roberto and his team worked tirelessly. When a significant portion of the job was not completely to our satisfaction, they agreed with us and redid it. I am telling you the honest truth: no bickering, no hedging, no grumbling. These guys are pros, they listen well, they honor your desires and do it all with creativity and grace. What more can I say? Hire them!

Roberto was very prompt to contact me and kept in contact but did not pester. He had asked for details of what was to be done but I found this difficult to explain. When he turned up to do the job, he explained that it would take much more time than the 3 hours I had already purchased. (It turned out to be about 10 hours of work) and thus I had a balance to pay. (About 150 was the special deal and I paid another 500) He was very polite, got straight on with the work and did not waste any time. The re concreting of the walls is very well done. It is very smooth straight and solid. I would not hesitate to recommend him and would definitely use him again. I think I got very good value for my work and I am very happy.

Doctor Pavers came on time and did the work. They certainly know what they were doing with the stone work. They treated it like a crossword puzzle, it was fascinating to watch them. They laid it out like a puzzle and built it up. The quality of the work was very good and they cleaned up afterwards. They were fair with the price. As far as getting a hold of them, the worker came right over and gave a price.

Roberto was very cheerful and easy to work with. He was very kind to do some extra cement work for me and did not charge me extra. They were very punctual everyday showing up before 8am. I would definitely recommend them to fellow Angie List members.

It took a while to get an appointment, they were quite busy and my order got lost in the shuffle. One more email brought fast results, Tony came punctually and did a good job on the repair work, I have ordered some more work to be done.

Although they were very busy (probably because of the Angie's List promotion) and it took a while to schedule the work they did show up promptly on the appointed day. There was some confusion about the scope of work covered by the deal but ultimately I feel we received a good job at a good price. The work was performed efficiently and the completed job looks very good. I would use Dr. Pavers again.

I thought they were fantastic, they did a good job. The best part was the price. They did terrific work at reasonable price.

I’ve examined each stone and I can’t find any misalignments. The steps form a fan shape. Each step retains the proper curvature. The mortar is smooth and level with each stone. Juliano of Doctor Pavers also reinstalled the stones constituting the curb along the driveway, at no extra charge. I would add that Juliano and his crew were cheerful and pleasant to work with.

I got a quote for mason work from a family member recommendation. I knew this mason did wonderful work, but is quote was high. I checked on Angies list, Doctor Pavers, answered by call. They set a convenient appointment for a quote. They were on time and professional. They e-mailed me a professional proposal and a very good price. $1,300. less then the quote I received from another mason. They were on time to start the job, they finished exactly when they said they would, did excellent work. I couldn't ask for anything better. Of course I highly recommend Doctor Pavers, do not hesitate to hire them, you'll be very glad you did.

The job was done with excellent workmanship and attention to detail. Roberto and his assistant showed up when promised and were courteous to me and my wife. He also cleaned up after the work, which doesn't always happened.

The whole experience went well. I had scheduling difficulties and they were very patient with me calling back a few times to reschedule. Arrived at the promised time, did the work and cleaned up. The wall looks great. I'm very happy. Will use them again.

The one caveat I would suggest is that when quoting an initial price, in this case of the "big deal,' ($149 for 3 hours work plus cement) it might be more useful to apprise the customer up front of the possible extra cost for supplies and additional time.

I saw the $149 Angie's List coupon for 3 hours of masonry work, and within the hour of signing up received an email from Doctor Pavers. The email was to thank me and ask for my patience. Due to a busy week, he wouldn't be able to do the job until the following week. Not only was I surprised by his prompt response but I didn't expect to have the work begin within days of the request. To further my surprise and delight, Roberto emailed me just 3 days later to ask if he could come by and complete the job the following day (Saturday). He also asked for a picture of the work needed so that he could begin right away. And that he did. He arrived 2 minutes early, we had a brief conversation outside and I showed him the loose stone. He noticed the others and said he would also fix those in the three hours. Roberto didn't simply patch but removed each slab to drill away and clean out the old cement and lay it down like a brand new job. Fast forward two additional hours and we have a completely restored walkway. He did a beautiful and expert job and only charged us for the materials used. It was an easy decision to give him a generous tip that he accepted with humility and enthusiasm. A skilled professional who's primary focus is on doing a quality job with great customer service will always have our complete respect. We will ABSOLUTELY use Roberto and Doctor Pavers again! We received our monies worth and then some!
