Scheduling was done within a few weeks. I had him do the grout and caulk restoration in the bathroom. One technician completed the work in six hours. The service worked out fine.

On-time service, very professional, completed job and cleaned up the area. The house is 90 years old and the original bathroom tile now looks brand new. Excellent service, and I highly recommend this service provider.

I do wish I had asked them to use "aged" looking bricks as the fresh ones really stand out but overall a top notch job.

I was fortunate enough to buy a "big deal" of 8 hrs of masonry work for $399.00 with Dr Pavers. I have a stairway leading up to my front door, the stairs are brick and the side walls of the stairway are large stones (almost like a large smooth "river rock"). We agreed on a date and they arrived at 8:30AM. exactly on time. They had contacted me when I initially bought the "big deal" and requested that I send them pictures of the problem. The bricks were becoming loose with and needed to be re-pointed and there was a large crack in both of the side walls. At least with the pictures, they knew what that would be dealing with. With the 2 men, it was only 4hrs of time (if it was only 1 it would have been 8hrs), but even though they exceeded their 4hr time, they did not charge me extra. The only other charge was for the cement. Rene and Roberto did a wonderful job. They were friendly, informative and very professional. After they finished the job, they replaced flower pots, swept and used a leaf blower to get rid of the mortar dust . I wouldn't think twice about using Dr. Pavers again and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have masonry work done. I even spoke with them today about building a stone front garden wall in the spring. AWESOME, AWESOME AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They did what they said they would do, finished in less than a full work day and they were pleasant, helpful and direct in answering our questions.

Doctor Pavers' crew showed up on-time at 8:30 am. Two man crew of Renen (forman) and Harrison (laborer). They sawcut and removed an existing 7' x 6' concrete slab. They installed a drain and connected it to the existing drainage system and poured a new reinforced concrete slab. They also reset (with thinset) four existing bluestone stair treads leading to the new concrete pad. They finished the work around 3:30 and cleaned up the work area. They provided a receipt of materials used. (about $100) I had purchased 8 hours of labor through Angie's list. I had agreed to an additional $300 in labor to finish the project several days prior to the work being performed with the owner Roberto when he visited to review the job. It is very important to agree on the scope of work prior to the work being performed. I am an experienced construction manager and know how long work should take. The owner originally quoted me 2 days (32 man hours)to complete the work. After I went over the scope of work piece by piece and hour by hour we came to the agreement of 1 day. (16 man hours) |They did the work as discuss and were paid in full that day.

EXCELLENT, Roberto was very responsive to our ideas and he executed with perfection. This is the 2nd time we used Doctor Pavers with great success and will continue to use them in the future. HIGHLY recommended.

Roberto was prompt, professional and did a great job fixing up my porch (a small part needed jacking up), painting it, and replacing 2 sections of my cement walkway. I will definitely use him again.

It went pretty well. They did a good job. The deal was for 4 hours. There was maybe 5% of the wall left to patch and the 4 hours were up and I didn't want to pay another $100.

We bought an Angie's List deal for 8 man hours of masonry work for $399. The main contact at the company (Juliano) was super responsive and gave us very honest feedback about the work we were originally intending to have done - he even recommended that we have the deal refunded if we decide to go a different route (trying to waterproof our basement). Finances being tight at the moment, we decided to keep the deal and use it for patching the most problematic spots on the basement. They were prompt, efficient and performed high quality work. The only complaint we'd have (not sure if this would be with them or with Angie's List) is that the "deal" wasn't really a deal - it was actually their standard high season pricing, and a little more than their standard pricing would have been if we booked directly with them in a month or so.

Juliano was very responsive and helpful. It turns out the project is much bigger than I expected and we could not work a solution within my budget.

. His work was thorough, efficient and done cheerfully. In addition, Roberto of Doctor pavers responded to my inquiry relatively quickly, and appeared promptly on the agreed time to begin the work, He worked efficiently although a rainy day postponed the completion by a day or so. Moreover,and this is something I rarely observed with contractors, he did a very extensive and complete cleanup. Overall he is an excellent contractor and this is the second time I have used him.

I was thrilled with everything having to do with Doctor Pavers from the get go. As soon as I purchased my Big Deal, I was contacted by Juliano for scheduling. Due to my hectic schedule, I had to change our appointments several times, but Juliano never waivered in his professionalism. On the scheduled work day, Roberto and Harrison showed up on time, and after seeing all our projects, went right to work. Our Big Deal was for 8 hours of work (2 men / 4 hours each), but because we had 3 potential projects, they stayed to finish all 3. Their work was beautiful - it is nice to see true craftsmen doing their thing. When the work was done, they cleaned up everything just as I would have hoped. I could not be happier with their work, and will certainly be calling them again for other hardscape projects.

courteous, on time. looks great, very professional. found several other areas that needed minor repair and did these as well while the mortar was drying on the primary area.

Overall a very good experience. There was one glitch on scheduling. On the scheduled day of work to be done, workers showed up with no materials to do job.( I had Juliano part owner come out to my house the week before and see what I would like to have done).We scheduled for the 10/22/13. On 10/22/13 workers showed up unaware of work to be done and without materials (blue stone for chimney) Contacted Dr Pavers and rescheduled for the following week they apologized for the mix up. No worries. The following week workers showed up on time (Roberto part owner and assistant). Just meeting Roberto I knew the job was going to be done and done right. True to form they exceeded my expectation. Job was done very well and clean up was excellent. To give you and idea with the exception of blue stone it was hard to see the pointing and repair they had blended it so well. There was an additional charge ( not a surprise $100) for the blue stone but nothing to break the bank. Juliano and Roberto were great. It was a real pleasure doing business with them. In one word: Ideal. I learned of Dr. Pavers through Angie's List. We needed to have this work done for some time now and had been procrastinating. The retaining wall is important since the property of the homeowner on the other side is elevated to the top of the wall. We were concerned that the damage could easily lead to further damage and even cause the other homeowner's walkway to collapse. I originally contacted Dr. Pavers through email at 10:30 on a Saturday night - and received an email response within 15 minutes. That's just too good. We exchanged a few emails, one of their guys came to check out the job and gave me a quote. They were set to go once I gave the go-ahead. I had to delay a few days to clear the repair with another neighbor since the wall runs along the back of both our properties and we were sharing the cost of the repair since the damage extended on both our sides. The price was extremely reasonable. My neighbor, I learned afterward, had gotten a quote once before that was significantly higher. The job took two days, the work was clean, the area was cleaned up. Seriously - I couldn't ask for anything to have gone better.

We are so happy with the work that Doctor's Pavers did. From the first visit to get a sense of the problem and what we were looking through all the way through the final project, they were professional, understood that we were looking for a safe and nice looking repair without going to something very expensive, and responded immediately when we had a concern about the condition of the step. Their response was to take full responsibility for the problem and send out a crew to fix the problem within four days of the initial job two workers and a foreman came and they all were polite and worked very hard in the time they were here for. We were so impressed and both sets of stairs now look great.
