Roberto explained everything in detail from start to finished. It would take 2days for stairs and walkway and one day for the driveway .His total amount was excellent compared to the other 6 bids.. All were very professional, and did excellent work, They clean all the debris up.The work was completed in the time roberto stated. the results were amazing. I never had trouble getting in touch with roberto at any time during the project. I plan to used roberto and his workers again.

Roberto and Ben came on time and did the work. They certainly know what they were doing with the stone work. They treated it like a Doctor , it was fascinating to watch them. They laid it out like a puzzle and built it up. The quality of the work was too good and they cleaned up afterwards. They were fair with the price. As far as getting a hold of them, the worker came right over and gave a price. I would definitely recommend them to fellow Angie List members.

Workers were extremely polite and very attentive to our requests. I am very fussy and their work went above and beyond my expectations. They showed up on time every morning as expected and paid attention to every detail including cleaning up and any changes we encountered along the way. My in-laws are elderly and the work was done at their house. It was a pleasure to deal with Roberto as he is trustworthy, and I didn't have to worry about him taking advantage or meeting the requests and needs that my in-laws had. I would choose Roberto and Doctor Pavers again in a heartbeat!

Roberto was very responsive in returning my calls and emails. He kept the appointment for the estimate, and he was very prompt in providing me with several estimate, covering different contingencies. His prices were competitive, and he acted in a completely professional manner. He returned all messages promptly. The only reason that we did not use this contractor was that he did not have the ability to repair the rusting rail "in house." Rather than using multiple contractors, we ended up using a similarly priced company that was able to repair the rail as part of the job.

I never in my life wrote a letter to the editor, (excuse the saying), Howerver this is an exception. HOW DID IT GO, WELL ONE WORD INTERGRITY. (OVERALL all A's.) I had a pretty large job at my home that needed to get completed. A year ago or so I had asked someone to give a quote and the price scared me so I didn't go through with it. Fast forward to this year and because my walkway as in such bad shape I knew I had to find someone to do it. I noticed that Dr. Pavers was highly rated on Angie's List so I had a fear that it would take a long time to get a quote and to have the work done. Within 20 minutes of my calling Dr. Paver's office, Roberto, one of the owners called me back and told me he could me that same evening to give me a quote. He came to my home, looked over the job, listened to what I was trying to accomplish and by the very next morning, I had a quote in my email (less than I was quoted a year ago by another contractor) I agreed to the work, and to my surprise, Roberto was able to start the job within the next 10 days. So far, so good. Exactly as promised, Roberto and his men showed up to my house, on time, and finished the job in the 6 days they said it would take. The job came out excellent and Roberto and his team were very professional, cleaned up after themselves each night when they were finished for the day, and were careful with all of the rest of my plantings, lawn and other surroundings. I was so impressed by Roberto and his company that I already have plans to work with him next spring on some other projects. In today's world of non-response, sloppy jobs and uncertainty, it was really one of the best contracting experiences I have ever had. I would obviously highly recommend Roberto and Dr. Pavers!

After having dealt with two other extremely busy masons (one who is not on AL) trying to get a written quote was starting to feel impossible. I just couldn't seem to get them to give me written quotes so I decided it was time to look on Angie's List for another option. After reading the great reviews on Angie's List about Doctor Pavers, I was hoping this guy would work out. I called and left a voicemail and not even 3 mins went by before Roberto texted me stating he received my call and wanted our address to schedule an appointment. That got my attention real quick! Talk about responsive! We met at the property within a few short days and he got us a quote pretty quickly. We needed some help with ideas and he was very helpful, but what made me like him most was if I showed him something on Pintrest he knew exactly the kind of stone it was. It was clear he knew his stuff. We asked if we could see samples and / or go to his supplier and he happily told us who he uses and we went on our own. We even quizzed the supplier on a few things and he even told us we were in good hands once we disclosed who we were using. That sealed the deal for us. Roberto showed up with samples on our lawn a few days later. Compared his quote to another mason we had been considering and Roberto's quote was more reasonable! The only thing about these masons is they are not very descriptive in their proposals, some are more vague than others so I made sure to ask Roberto to clarify things. I'm a very detailed person so it was important to me to make sure everything is in writing, Roberto, while also very busy was able to accommodate my requests without issue, within time. He really values his customers and it shows! The 1st day of the job about 3 guys show up (a Father, son and another guy) and they get the area prepped (i.e. Rip out the bushes, dig up the lawn for the walkway and begin breaking up the existing concrete), so it ended up only being a half day. Roberto accompanied them upon arrival and would come back daily to make sure everything was going as expected. They got the job done in about 3 -4 days as anticipated on our proposal. They did an excellent job! What a drastic improvement. Roberto was generous enough to give us a longer bluestone treads and it had been determined we needed to create 1 step at the beginning of the new walkway, and this was done at no additional cost from the quote. This was important because when you budget for projects, it's hard to find a contractor that stays on quote, Roberto did and much more! THANK YOU The only thing that really went wrong was the façade of our staircase had to be re-stuccoed because two different shades were applied and it looked bad. I mentioned this to Roberto when he came for final inspection and he made sure to resolve the issue within a few short days and had it redone. We are very happy with the work Robertos' team performed and how it transformed our property. We intend to contact Roberto again for future projects and are currently awaiting a proposal for a retaining wall. We look forward to working with him again!

We chose to call Doctor Pavers because they had good reviews on Angie's list. Roberto stopped by and later had sent us itemized estimate for the job, his price was reasonable. We also spoke to few other masonry guys. We decided to hire Roberto because he was available at the time when we needed and we liked his price as well. Roberto's crew did a good job overall. I feel he wants his customer to be happy with the end result and he cares about the reputation of his business. We were out of town when he started the job and did not even take deposit from us, he was ok for us to pay him when we returned which was few days after he finished.

This is the 2nd job Roberto did for me this year. I liked his first job very much. That's why I had him do the 2nd job. He did an excellent job! Hat off to you!

We had selected Doctor Pavers, Harrison NY, because we had seen the work they had completed on a neighbor's walkway, steps, and patio. We had not checked Angie's List. Roberto Mendonca, Owner, looked at our existing walkway, stoop, patio, and driveway that required extensive repairs. Roberto was receptive to our suggestions and responsive to our questions and requests. His workmen were friendly, respectful, punctual, worked hard, and cleaned up their work. Roberto came every day to check their progress and finished the entire job on time. We appreciated their tasteful layouts of the stones for our walkway, stoop, and patio. Roberto arrived exactly when he said he would to evaluate the job and gave me a very fair estimate. He could not have been more friendly or more professional. He and his team went above and beyond to make sure the job was done exactly the way I wanted it, right down to a last minute change in the stone quality I chose. The total project took four days to complete. It involved taking up an old concrete walkway in the back yard, pouring a new concrete slab and topping it with blue stone, as well as topping part of a pre-existing concrete walkway in the front yard so it would match the new one in the back. I still have a 15 foot section of old walkway in the front yard that I intentionally left out of my original quote/request because it will require having a retaining wall built as well and I knew I couldn't afford to do everything at once. Based on the professionalism, punctuality, and overall great work ethic Roberto and his whole team demonstrated I will definitely have them come back in the spring to complete the reconstruction of the final section of my front walkway.

Doctor Pavers seemed to be competent in comparison to other vendors who I contacted for estimates. They were not entirely responsive to what I asked to have done...in their estimate they only estimated repairing/patching the existing driveway despite a specific request that they estimate for total replacement. Their estimate for stucco work was consistent with other vendors; however, I chose to go with another vendor who could provide both services.

It was a pleasure to work with Roberto and his crew. He is very busy so it took some time and patience to schedule the work. His crew of two was professional and did a good job once they started. The job was unfinished based on the original estimate but Roberto agreed to finish the job at no additional cost. We felt comfortable leaving the crew to complete the job while we were on vacation. All in all this was a good experience. I would use Roberto again.

Roberto returned my call immediately and set up a visit the following day. We agreed to a price and he held to both schedule and cost. When his crew saw that one portion of the foundation needed more extensive repair, they attended to it. It looks great and there was no adjustment to the price. All of those details are exactly the kinds of interactions that I had hoped for when joining Angie's List. These guys want to work and make it easy to work with them. As for the workmanship, I am very happy with the quality of the work. Matching the repairs to the newer sections of the house was difficult, but they made it look seamless. The resurfaced front porch was also blended well with the reset slate stairs. They showed excellent skill with all types of masonry. Highly recommended!

Doctor Pavers were professional from the beginning to the end. They performed the work well and asked for my opinion when they had a question. They also cleaned up and replaced all the soil they moved.

Roberto and his team were very professional and very knowledgeable. They know their work and know it well from start to finish! Roberto and his team were always punctual. Roberto politely answered all of our questions without hesitation. He started and ended the job when he said he would. They broke up the old concrete and paved new concrete in the alleyway and backyard. It looks absolutely beautiful. His price was cheaper then others that I looked at with the same specs. I would definetly hire them again without hesitation. If you're wondering if you should call them for an estimate, give them a try. You won't be disappointed. I was looking for 3 months to find somebody to do this work. I looked on Angie's list and BBB. The first time I spoke to Roberto, I knew he knew his job and knew it well. I hired him that first day and I'm so glad I did!

Doctor Pavers had done the original paver driveway last year and did an amazing job. So much so that neighbors came by just to say how great it looked. So after a snow plow damaged some of the pavers last Winter, who else would I have replace them but Doctor Pavers. And again, they did a great job. I also had them reconfigure a fieldstone/bluestone step leading to my front door and install a french drain across the walkway. As always, great work.

First I want to say how impressed I was with Doctor Pavers responsiveness to my initial query as well as their punctuality. Roberto actually showed up on the date and time he said he would! Roberto spent a great deal of time explaining the possible options, as well as the estimated costs, for replacing or repairing my crumbling walkway and steps. My husband and I decided that rebuilding the stairway and steps made the most sense as the base was in very poor shape and a repair would not last very long. Roberto gave us a start date and projected end date for the project and it was done in exactly that time frame. Roberto and his crew were extremely professional from beginning to end. I will admit that I can sometimes be a bit picky and when I requested a few modifications after the job was completed Roberto and his crew came back to make those changes at no additional charge. Roberto was very patient and accommodating, saying that he just wanted to make sure I was happy with Doctor Pavers' work. I highly recommend Doctor Pavers!

.After finding Doctor Pavers on Angies List, I called up and left a message . A short time later I received a call back and approx. 1 hour later the owner was at my door discussing what I needed done. We agreed on a price for the front steps and replacing the broken cement in front of the porch. His crew of two men arrived early the next morning and that part of the job was finished in one day. And under the estimate. They worked like a well oiled machine. They left everything neat and clean. Very Professional. After seeing the quality of their work, I didn't hesitate in agreeing to let them do the rest of the job. They arrived early everyday and put in a full days work. It is obvious that they take a lot of pride in what they do. As you can see in the pictures, the result is first class. I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend Doctor Pavers to my friends and family or anyone who wants a professional job done at a fare price.
