It went beautifully. The work they did on my driveway made the entire house look fantastic. They were on time, clean and fast.

I would have gone with them, except that homewoners' organization wanted to use member resident contracting company that matched their price.

I did not have any problem with them. I did not have any trouble with scheduling. They came when they said they would come. They gave me an estimate first. They did a good job.

They have done a great job overall. No complaints so far.

Requested to be contacted for an estimate on paving my driveway and got no response.

The experience was very positive. Like so many other top performing companies on the List, these guys were prompt, professional, and competitively priced. The job was completed in one day. My only complaint, very minor, is that the asphalt spilled into some drainage grates and isn't as flush as I'd like it to be at the garage entrance.

WHEN they arrived, they were very late and did a lousy job. They also billed for snow removal when they never did any work. Here is what they do: if it snows (whatever the amount of snow) they will bill you for snow removal. It doesn't matter to them if they actually remove any snow. If it snows you get billed.

I became a customer of A Palmieri last year and was pleased with the service. Since last year went well I decided to use them again this year. I have regretted that decision ever since. They have been coming to plow with as little of a quarter of an inch of snow on the ground. Last year they would not show up unless we got at least 2 inches. I have even noticed that I was charged for three plows that were not performed. I know this because my kids and I were forced to shovel the drive ourselves. As you can imagine I am less than satisfied with the service and when I tried to contact the company a bad situation became worse. In the past five weeks I have left 4 messages in addition to a detailed message on each bill that I received, before I got a response. The company offered to settle if I paid them $300.00 this is unacceptable considering the office lady told me that invoices get sent out even if they do not get confirmation that the job was done. I have faxed a written cancellation of service to this company and have received bills after the date the fax was sent.

After initial call, Ralph (supervisor) came on day and time expected. He added a few suggestions and said he would have a detailed estimate back within three days. Estimate came right on time and was very detailed. Price was reasonable. Contractor started on agreed start date and completed job on time (22 days considering weather). Workers arrived before 8 A.M. every work day and were professional, courteous and accommodating. Responsiveness to questions or modifications was prompt. Ralph went out of his way to make sure job went right. Project came out great. Many compliments received from neighbors. Would definitely use A Palmieri Landscaping again.

The company did a awesome job. The neighbors comment on it all the time. The owner came out and inspected the job before it was completed. I would recommended them to anyone. The are very reasonable in price.

He did such a great job, he had a reasonable cost and it was a great value. It looks fabulous, they did it all in one day. They came at about nine am and left at about four thirty.

What is so difficult about setting a time and keeping to it - or at least calling if you can't make it?

In summary, the experience was the most professional experience I have had with any contracting company. Ralph came by provided a very professional estimate (which was interestingly also the cheapest quote we received). The work started the very next day after the village issued us a permit. The crew was very professional about the entire process, the work was thorough and was exceptionally clean i.e. they patched all the holes they had made, planted new grass seeds where they had dug things up and everything came out looking very nice. These are the most professional folks I have met in this business.

We chose them because they had done other work in the neighborhood. Their price was much lower than the two others we obtained for comparison. A two man crew took one day to dig up and haul away the old asphalt. A larger crew did the repaving on the second day. They were very professional and the quality of the work was excellent. When Ralph, the foreman, was shown the asphalt covered footprints that the men had tracked on our recently painted garage floor he sent a man to repaint it. Taking everything off the floor took much longer than the actual painting and they did a very good job.

Their landscaping service was inconsistent. Their planting was unprofessional - everything died. Their telephone receptionists were rude and made calling uncomfortable - call backs took days and sometimes weeks and multiple calls from us.

THEY WERE REASONABLE. THEY HAD VERY GOOD WORKERS. THEY WERE RELIABLE. IT WAS EXCELLENT WORK. THEY DID A GOOD JOB. THERE WAS A LOT OF REPAIR WORK FROM WEAR AND TEAR. THEY DID STUFF WE DIDN'T EVEN ASK THEM TO DO. THE WAY THEY QUOTED IT THEY WOULD HAVE TO TEAR OUT THE DRIVEWAY BUT THEY SAW THE FOUNDATION WAS STILL OKAY. OTHER COMPANIES WOULD HAVE CHARGED US WHAT THEY SAID IT WOULD HAVE. THERE WAS NO NEED TO TEAR IT ALL OUT SO ALL THEY DID WAS RE-TAR IT. THEY SAVED US MONEY.

THEY DO FAIR TO GOOD WORK. WE HAVE TO CALL SOMETIMES TO COMPLAIN BECAUSE THEY DON'T GO ON THE THIRD LEVEL OF OUR PROPERTY. SOMETIMES WE HAVE TO TELL THE WORKERS TO DO SOMETHING THEY SHOULD DO ON A WEEKLY BASIS. THEIR PRICE IS VERY GOOD AND VERY REASONABLE. THEY ARE LOWER THEN MOST COMPANIES THAT WE GET QUOTES FROM.

ACTUALLY THEY JUST CAME BY AND WERE DOING SOMEONE ELSES LAWN. MY HUSBAND ASKED IF THEY WOULD TRIM THE HEDGES. THEY CAME RIGHT OVER WITHOUT SCHEDULING AN APPOINTMENT BECAUSE THEY WERE ALREADY IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD. THEY CLEANED EVERYTHING UP AFTER THEY WERE DONE.

We hired this company nine years ago. Their price is very competitive. They come weekly (routine) work. Their length of service speaks for itself. There is no contract therefore we can cancel at any time.
