I wanted my 1200 sq ft driveway repaved. Mr. Palmieri measured my driveway, and I quickly received a contract, signed by Mr. Palmieri, which called for repaving a 90 sq ft. driveway for $1800. Payment was to be three installments of $600 each. I questioned the figure 90 sq ft figure. I was told it was a typo, and I should just write in 960 sq ft. As the price was somewhat below other bids, I signed the contract and returned it with a check for $600. A few days later, I received a call from Mr. Palmieri, stating that a mistake had been made on the contract, and the actual price would be $3600 - higher than other estimates. I received a ?revised contract?, quoting the new price - $3600 - but requiring three payments of $1800 each - a total of $5400. From my experience, A. Palmieri is obviously sloppy, but more distressing is their attitude towards contracts - they don?t feel bound by them.

They are on time. They come in bi-weekly. So far, I am very satisfied with their service. There is nothing I dislike about them. I have not come up with a problem yet.

I was told that the only way to be guaranteed service was to mail a signed contract. I did it very same day, and I spent the past 2 weeks calling the office to make sure they had received the signed contract. The two secretaries I spoke to during this time were both clueless and rude. They neither accepted alternative solutions to the problem (e.g., I offered to send the signed contract by fax) nor returned my calls nor allowed me to talk to the owner. As a result, my garden has not been cleaned for a month, November has passed, and my sense of frustrations has increased.

Two men arrived punctually and seal-coated the driveway by hand with brushes. They were very professional and courteous.

This company is extremely professional and responsive which was a pleasant change from some other service providers I've dealt with recently. From the initial call to the business to the estimate to the accommodation for the specific service date to the worker who actually did the sealing, the process was pretty stress-free. I would have much more work done around my house if other service providers made it this easy. I usually have a sense of dread before I use a new company. I'm glad that this will not be an issue with my driveway anymore. I will definitely consider Palmieri for any future exterior work.

They job couldn't have gone off any better. Ralph was our initial contact, and not only got EVERY bit of detail we gave him -- nothing was missed when they did the project, nothing -- but he took our vaguely formed project idea and made several recommendations, all of which we agreed to, and all of which ended up being 100% the right way to go. The work was priced fairly (not the cheapest guys out there, but fairly priced). The work was scheduled right away. The work was done quickly -- it maybe took a week. The work was done perfectly. Absolutely perfectly. Usually with jobs that are this big, there's always these little nit-picky things that you see after all is said and done that aren't HUGE problems, but they're there, and they annoy you every time you see it for the next 25 years. There was literally not a single thing wrong with the end result. Fabulous. Fabulous. Neighbors keep coming by to say how great everything looks. We also hired Palmieri to do weekly yard maintenance (the usual: mow, trim, etc.). And I would say the same for those services -- job is always well done. I'd use Palmieri again. Easily. And would recommend them to my friends.

the workers would show up at the job site & park in the driveway and "have lunch" first at 10am... When Ralph was approached to respond to the problems about the workers and the quality of their work, he seemed totally indifferent and unprofessional until he was asked to leave and never return. At the end when he demanded for photos of the yard as it looked prior to his signing the contract he was reminded that he had taken pictures and was reluctant to refer to them again. Having a kid come to mow the lawn would have been better for the yard and far less expensive and damaging. I would not recommend them to anybody as they did thousands of dollars worth of damages to a once beautiful yard.

They were good. It was prompt and efficient.

We used Palmieri Landscaping to reblacktop our driveway. Ralph, the foreman, was very easy to get a hold of and answered all of our questions. He formulated a plan to put the blacktop down in a way that could ease waterflow into our drains. The work was done fast and with great attention to detail. I had a question about the work and Ralph came out the next day to see the issue and talk to me about it. VERY responsive employees and company. It's always nice to find a contractor that actually calls you back AFTER the work is done. The cost of this job was 1/2 of what another company had given me as an estimate. Then, we hired them to do the spring cleanup of the yard and weekly maintenence. The lawn never looked so good. Their weekly cost was similar to other estimates.

It went very well. Punctual and fast. Kept everything really clean. Will recommend in the future.

They were top notch. They did really nice work. They were very punctual and were able to complete the job by the deadline. Their price was also very good.

They did the work in March. The experience was awful. Everything they planted dies. The person who came was fine. He was a nice person, he did not do what I asked. I told him the soil needed to be fertilized and it did not get much light. He planted some trees that died the first season.

They sent someone out to take a picture. I dont think that is right because they did not take a picture of the back yard so they do not know all of the work that needs to be done. They judge what to charge you based on that picture.

Work was done efficiently and the property was left clean and the lawn replanted.

Antony Palamiere met his workers at my gate they were advised of what to do and they began working on digging up the backyard. There was one person who spoke English. And that was the person I communicated with when Anthony Palmieri left. They worked until about 4pm and packed up the truck and was gone by 5pm. I had asked the young man what time I should expect them back the following day and he said about 8am. The next day I waited for the crew to come until 11:00 am, and no body came and no one called to cancel. I had to call the company to find out what was going on. Needless to say I was very dissappointed that I was not contacted regarding the change. They should have called me to let me know that they were not coming. The next couple of days the work went along fairly well. When they finished, i watered the trees alot over the rest of the summer and all of the fall, but I began to see that two of the arborvitaes were turning brown on top and looked liked they were dying. I called Anthony about it and he said, that I was not doing enough watering but to call him back in the spring and he would come back out. In the spring as promised Anthony came back out and said that he would replace one tree and plant additional plants I thought he should have replaced both trees. i think the back yard is beautiful even though I see brown leaves coming out on the arborvitae tree that was replanted, and the one that he should have also replaced. The plants are all growing and the additions are beautiful. Ohh yeah! I must also add that when the tree was replaced I did not get a phone call to say that they were coming. And I bearly noticed it was replaced because it was done when I was not at home. My sister and I were sitting out on the patio when she noticed a 5 ft. tree among the 4 other 6ft tress. I gave them a rating of B overall because of their failure to call and inform me of there arrival, And for not replacing two trees, and for telling me that they were coming the next day to work and did not. However I love my patio, I have a little privacy from my neighbors and I enjoy being out side and enjoying the scenery. I would call them again for further improvements.

Mr. Palmieri was polite and sounded knowledgeable. I showed him the plants and locations. Told him it was a pre-planned garden (with a map of where all the plants are to go). An estimate for the work was sent and I agreed to the pricey amount happy to have professionals who know what they are doing to complete the job and mailed in a check. However the laborers who did the job did not plant the garden according to the maps provided and mismanaged the planting of a number of little plants. I am sure that if Mr. Palmieri was there this would not have happened. However it did and Mr. Palmieri did his best to find a solution to the mishap.

Prompt and courteous. The quote was very high, though, and we decided to do it ourselves for a fraction of the cost.

Sprinkler system installation was horrendous. It did not cover the property properly...there were dry spots galore. The rain sensor did not work. They made electrical connections in the ground (if you can believe it) that were not properly made (firstly, they should not be buried in the dirt). The plants were all placed in the incorrect position as we found out later. Half the white pines died within a year.

I had hire and his crew and they have done an excellent job. They mow, trim, reseed, and edge on my yard. They are professional and they have done a better job than other providers that I have hired in the pass. Our property looks great and we will continue to use them. I would also highly recommend them to others.

They were very professional. They were fine but I decided to go with another company that gave me a cheaper quote and also because they were the ones that did the original job when we first did it.

I purchased my first home and it needed a new walkway/sidewalk but I kept getting prices that seem too much for me. So, I searched on Angie's List and found Palmieri Landscaping. The owner came out and informed me that his company could do more than just work on the sideway. So, I gave him a tour of my home and my wish list. He took photos and soon after I recieved an estimate for the entire work. The job went smoothly and I always felt I was in good hands. The owner even called to ensure I was happy with the outcome. For any furture jobs, I will call Palmieri Landscaping.

The contractor acted as if he had no idea what needed to be done. I showed him the work area. Currently have plastic over walk area to stop water from coming him. His first response was "Water's getting in because you have a puddle there" When I explained that the plastic is there to prevent the water from getting into the basement he then said "What you want to excavate and re pave the area" It seemed as if he didn't know what needed to be done. I had three other contractors look at the work and they all new what needed to be done. Contractor stated "I don't know if i can get in there" I guess he's afraid of hard work.

I think their prices are too high but they do a good job. When they say they are going to be here at a certain time they are. I will use them again in the future.
