Ilberg Electrical Contracting

I did not trust his judgement on the amount of amps required for my house. I did not agree with him saying that I only needed 100 amps. He gave me an estimate for some work that I wanted done around the house, and I felt the estimate was higher than the actual amount of work that I needed done. He mentioned that he would be bringing 2 people with him to do the work, which I believe made the estimate higher.

From the beginning John was very responsive and professional. He quickly responded to my initial call and visited within days to discuss my need to reduce the summer heat generated by the attic of my second floor condo unit as well as cigarette smoke coming from the first floor unit. John researched the options and got back to me with some good advice. In the end I opted for only an attic fan. John arranged for an experienced, reputable roofing company to install the fan and his staff did all of the configuration and electrical work. Both teams were extremely professional and polite. John"s staff clearly explained how the fan worked and gave me some tips on maximizing its use. The fan has been in for a month. It automatically turns on and off based on the attic temperature. The noise is not bad at all. My unit overall has been much cooler, especially in the later afternoon hours. I am running the air conditioning far less. When I do turn on the air conditioning, my entire unit cools down in about a quarter of the time than it used to. The air conditioning unit is so much more effective and it is not running for long periods of time. This has been a great investment. I appreciated that John was very flexible in that I was not always available and able to be home. He was a pleasure to work with. I know I will be calling him again for any other electrical needs.

John is clearly an expert in his field; all of my questions were answered throughout the project. Fantastic energy with a true sense of engagement, collaboration and team spirit. My experience with Ilberg Electric was extremely positive, and I could not be happier with the results. I won't use anyone else for my electrical work going forward.

John called me almost immediately after my inquiry through Angie's list. He came by when it was convenient for me since I work late and turned around a proposal the next day. We scheduled the work for the following week and he was on time and did an excellent job. The wiring in the panel is top notch and the installation is like a new house. I would definitely recommend Ilberg Electric.

I liked him. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He was able to give me information on regulations and was able to explain to me everything. I had a good experience overall. He was here at the time he was supposed to be. I possibly will use him.

John showed up when he said he would. He diagnosed the problem quickly. He removed both lighting fixtures and took them back to his shop to fix them. Within a few hours he was back at my house reinstalling the fixtures as if they were brand new. Great job and very please with the work.

John and his assistant came to my place of business on the appointed date and time and asked me some specific questions about what I needed. They checked out my electrical panel and discovered a bad circuit breaker which they immediately changed. I also needed and 20 amp outlet replaced which they did as well. I AM VERY SATISFIED WITH THE SERVICE AND PRICE AND WILL USE THEM AGAIN

They changed my fuse box from 100 amp service to 200 amp service and put in a whole house surge protector. It only took one day and they were fast and clean. They were so efficient, punctual and easy to get along with. It was a pleasure dealing with them

Hooked up a generator to our junction box..

John the owner of the company and Michael his assistant came to my home. They were professional and also pleasant to be around and I liked that they had a sense of humor. John walked around assessing the hard hats I wanted to put into the rooms along with the track lighting. I also had him check if I could put temperature controlled thermostats in to replace the old ones. John told me that it was possible to that do in all of the rooms. Michael his assistant went to work right away. He was thorough and even cleaned up after he was done. I liked the fact that Michael asked me after the work was done to walk around with him to make sure I was satisfied. I am definitely going to use them when it comes time to put my lights in. Great Company!!

Got an estimate quickly, and while doing the estimate, they replaced a busted circuit breaker switch right then and there for free (which meant our dryer started working again). The estimate broke down the cost for each individual part of the job, so we could see what could fit our budget. They arrived on time to do the work and finished it in a day. They checked with me on certain details that came up to make sure I got things installed the way I wanted. I felt that they were upfront with me. Everything is working great now and I would use them again in the future.

I was very happy with the service that I received from John Ilberg. He was very competent, responsive and friendly. He initially came to my house to inspect/assess the work that I needed done. He provided me with an estimate and we scheduled a time a few days later to perform the work that was required. John and a helper arrived on time and as scheduled to my home on the subsequent date. They proceeded to replace a number of old lighting fixtures in my living room and kitchen. He also repaired a faulty outlet due to some damaged/worn wiring and replaced an old circuit breaker. I would look to hire John again in the future.

John Ilberg himself came with a helper. They came the day he said he would on time. They were very polite and professional and did an excellent job. He charged me exactly what he quoted me and was very patient when explaining how to operate the generator. I was very pleased and would definitely use him again and recommend him.

John the owner was very good in returning calls, came to the house to give me an estimate on the work that needed to be done, was very punctual and professional. The week after we scheduled the job. He came as promised on time early in the morning with his crew. He laid out everything that needed to be done, they coverage all the work areas with tarp, and they started working immediately. They were very clean and worked all day without taking a break. Mike especially the electrician was great. They did all the work in one day. They cleaned everything up when they left didn't even notice that anyone was there. I will definitely use John again in the future.

We used Ilberg electric company to install a poll heater. John (the owner) came to give an estimate. He was great. He came on time so I could get to my work. I decided to use the the company. I called him and told him we were going to have a party and asked if he could do the job on a certain day. He agreed. Again, he came on time as promised and did a great job. He was clean and neat as well. I would use him for any job in my house. It was a pleasure doing business with John.

He's excellent and a really nice guy. He's also very knowledgeable because he's been doing this for 35 years. He also always seems to be available when everyone else is busy. He's also good at noticing what needs to be done. He helped my son as well and ended up fixing his outdoor light that was broken. He's very reasonably priced.

John Ilberg performed the work himself - he was very efficient and courteous. He found that one receptacle was fine and only the wires needed to be corrected. He did not charge us for that work. John was very friendly, and explained to us what needed to be done when our deck was being pulled down . We would definitely use his services again. He came on time, performed the work in a timely manner and cleaned up.
