This project was performed at a timely and professional manner all work was completed as agreed on the scope of work, unfortunately a year after customer didn’t like the appearance the sand was giving in the joint lines and decided that I needed to replace it with cement. During the first stage of the job we had explained to the customer that the sand would not hold up in the joints because the joints lines were too big, but the customer insisted to do it anyways. Now the customer wants us to install the cement in the joint lines and is holding us liable for it and we do not provide any service without a charge unless it was our fault in installation or any damage covered under contract. This customer did not want to pay for the service requested and now is looking to defame our business by leaving a review like this.
The job went great. The remodeled attic rooms look great. The crew was very professional and a pleasure to work with.

Bawa Construction exceeded my expectations with their paving work! From start to finish, the process was smooth and hassle-free. The team's expertise was evident in every aspect of the project, and they delivered exceptional quality. My driveway and walkways look amazing, and I couldn't be happier. If you're searching for top-tier paving services, I highly recommend Bawa Construction. They truly deserve five stars! Harry was great the owner was really hands on. Trust worthy and with handling our money. His employee on the other hand Joe which I think he might of gotten rid of we reported Joe to Harry and he took care of it right away with Joes unprofessionalism.
Went perfect Basement was remodeled stairs was painted basement door was installed My wife is very impressed The job took 3 weeks and the team was very professional Bathroom was also updated Great sliding glass door installing a new sink and toilet Very satisfied

Had a bad experience with this company. Dealt with Harry for the contract and 50% down payment and then was told Joe was doing my project. Oh Joe oh Joe. You can’t make this guy up. The worst case of a pathological liar I’ve ever seen. On the promised day of work nobody would show up. He used every excuse in the book, after about 7 no shows and excuses from worker called out, there is rain in forecast (drizzle at best), the Canadian wild fires, Flu, each time he would sound so genuine, but once the common excuses ran out he would say “I’m coming right now, I’m loading up the bricks in the car as we speak [goes on to tell another worker to load some more bricks in the other truck while I’m on the phone], I cancel my plans and wait… no show. This goes on and on. Then he dumps a pile a of sand on my driveway and that sits for 2 more weeks. Everytime I would call Harry, he would apologize and say I will call him. Was convinced I was scammed with the upfront payment. Threatened to call police on the company. After about 6 weeks past promised day, the work was not very good either. The contract stated polymeric sand would be used to lock pavers. They did not. When I called and showed them pictures they said “oh Joe must have been running low on the polymeric sand, I’ll have him come by tomorrow first thing in the morning and fix that”. I laughed to myself, these guys barely showed up with 50% of payment still with me. How are they showing up after getting paid full. I ended up hiring another company and they locked the pavers and finished the job. If you are not in a rush and don’t care too much about getting the whole work done and good quality, then you can give these guys a try, otherwise don’t be an idiot like me and go read other Yelp reviews.

Hey, we are very sorry that you had an issue that you had to leave this review. As you know we are a General Contracting company , which means we do some work in house but the majority of the work is subcontracted to qualified and experienced contractors, unfortunately that gentleman was a subcontractor that we used to subcontractor work to, everything in the beggining was great with his work and after a while he wasn’t consistent anymore and after a terrible experience with him we no longer have anything to do with him and his company. If you have any issues or complaints with your project please feel free to contact us at anytime and the problem shall be addressed immediately . We have been around for 20+ years and carry out a good reputation for our work and reliability. Once again out apologies for the inconvenience.

This is a scam company; stay away. I contracted with Bawa Construction Group to build a retaining wall, a patio, and a walkway in my house on April 4th, 2023. Upon its insistence I paid an advance payment for material purchase in the amount of $9700. The contract stated that the work will be completed in two weeks. Until mid-June 2023 they have not started the work and they did not deliver the materials to the site in spite of my repeated requests to deliver the materials since we paid for them. They gave us all sort of excuses from bad weather, to shortage of labor, to delays on other jobs, to breakage of equipment, even a death in the family. I asked the owner repeatedly to either refund the money or deliver the materials that I paid for to no avail. Now they are not even responding to calls, emails, or text messages. I am reporting them to the Better Buisness Bureau, the Consumer Affair, and I am retaining an attorney to file a law suit. Stay away from this company, they steal your money and don't deliver.

We were hired for the project, all Materials were purchased and as before we took the job Mr. [Member Name Removed]knew of our busy work schedule and was aware we had other project that needed to be completed before his job was going to begin. As soon as the contract was he started rushing and putting pressure on us to get the project completed right away knowing that we still have to complete projects that’[Member Information Removed] were taken on before his project. But he kept putting pressure on us and we couldn’t leave another customers job in completed to complete his job before there’[Member Information Removed]. So Mr [Member Name Removed]terminated the contract and never let us complete or even start what we were hired to do. So I’m this case these customers don’t understand is that every customer or client to us is the same and is dealt with in the same manner, which is first come first served and we can’t leave anyone project in the middle of completion. He was not understanding and all and his project wasn’t an emergency job that had to be done over night, taking all these terms into consideration he’[Member Information Removed] the one that’[Member Information Removed] screws up the project, and not our company. So stop pointing fingers please. We wouldn’t be around for so long if we weren’t good at what we did our track record proves it.
Great. Harry was very helpful. He completed the work before schedule. I shopped around and he was by far the best choice. I recommended him to three of my other friends and they were very happy too. Even my neighbor saw his work and hired him to do his driveway and patio.
If you want your job done on-time or correctly, DO NOT hire the BAWA Construction Company. They, and in particular Harold and Joe, have unfortunately been impossible to work with. In July 2022, I hired them to fill in a small hole that collapsed part of my cobblestone patio, re-lay the stones, pressure wash the stones for my patio and driveway, insert polymeric sand between the stones, and all-weather seal over the top. They quoted me $3200 and said the sand and sealing would last 5-10 years without an issue. After paying, they pressure washed the driveway and patio, then let it sit for several weeks to the point where they had to come and redo all of the pressure washing since weeds were again growing within the spaces. Also during this time, I filled in the hole in the patio myself as it was a hazard to my children playing in the backyard. I asked them to lower the $3200 price since I had completed part of the job and was told, “That was being done for free since it was such a small job. The power-washing, polymeric sand, and sealing still would cost $3200.” Since they had a contract and I honestly just wanted it done, I dropped the complaint and they finished the work in mid-August, over a month after they stated it would originally be completed. Fast forward to April 2023 and there were weeds again growing within a great amount of the areas where polymeric sand and sealer were laid. I was told by Harold over the phone, “No problem. Our worker probably did not power wash deep enough and we will take care of it.” Eventually, after weeks of little to no communication with Harold except when it was initiated by me after several attempts, he sent me to Joe, who said the same - that it was their error and it would be taken care of. In the last three months I have been given the following excuses why they have not even come to the house to see the work that needs to be done: - Harold’s wife had given birth and no one from the entire company was available to correct the job. - It was raining and the work could only be done in a dry environment. (True, but they could have seen the job and what needed to be corrected. Plus one day of rain does not equal three months of being put off.) - They were too busy and had too many jobs to do surrounding Memorial Day Weekend. - Harold told me, after two months, that I needed to speak with Joe in order for it to be completed and that Joe would call me. I waited another week without a call, asked for Joe’s number myself, and was told Harold had lost my number to forward to him - although I had called and text him for weeks prior. - There were also THREE occasions I was promised Harold would be coming, just for him to no-show without contacting me at all. This was followed with a FOURTH no-show by Joe also without any contact. At this point, Joe also stopped returning my phone calls. To sum this up, I paid $3200 for about eight months of a job they promised would last between 5-10 years. The communication has been non-existent except when initiated by me, and even with that they have stopped returning my messages. There is additionally no ability to leave messages for Harold, which is why I started resorting to texts, since his mailbox is full and has been for months. It is undoubtedly filled with messages from people like me seeking for him to correct his horrible business practices. Joe on the other hand gets voicemails, but now does not return the calls. I even gave him two more opportunities to return my phone call before posting this and those messages weren’t returned. You would be better off hiring literally anyone else to handle your housing needs. I will now be taking them to small claims court. Save yourself the trouble I have found myself in and simply don’t hire them!

Hey, sorry for the inconvenience as you know we didn’t lay down The pavers and we were doing a repair or a patch job. We did power wash the pavers, repair the sink pavers and then sand locked the pavers the right way. As you know everything was fine and you were satisfied with the results that were given to you once we had completed the job, but unfortunately when pavers are usually installed the contractor is supposed to lay down a landscape fabric that prevents weeds from growing out of the joints, as much as the polymeric sand manufacturer lists on there material that the sand prevents from roots and weeds growing it really can’t fully prevent the growth. But as promised I am sending a crew out in a couple of days to try to resolve the matter for you at no extra costs. Once again we apologize for the inconvenience and are looking forward to getting this resolved for you. Thanks

The owner was personable and professional while doing the estimate. Afterwards when handing the cash he disrespectfully threw the envelope on my property in my yard as he was leaving knowing I was there. He did not want me to directly to tip the workers. Garbage was left underneath a panel of fence not used. The workers he hired did a great job and I ensured they received their tip from the thrown envelope

Everything went very well. I was in constant contact with the owner, and all the work was done in a timely manner, and of very high-quality. Their work made the house look much more desirable-and I believe it was a major reason why I was able to get the asking price when it went on sale several months ago.
