Terrible. Not only did they leave us with a complete mess, they never paid the electrician they subcontracted. He's been in contact with us since and we showed him the receipts. He informed us they lied to him saying we hadn't paid them and they never paid him for the work he did, which was the only good work done on this entire project. B & B Consolidated. They left an opening for a ceiling light fixture 9" out of place. The electrician had to open a new hole for proper placement & we had to repair the ceiling ourselves. Because they didn't tighten the drywall to the ceiling, when the electrician hung the ceiling fixtures it popped screws in dry wall creating holes. An electrical outlet was covered with dry wall requiring electrician to locate & cut opening for same. This caused more popped screws. Improperly covered seams, & unprimed dry wall areas inside all closets. Dimensional paint streaks on ceiling and walls. Many areas, including corners, around doorways & dry wall repairs not primed. This is evident by running hand across and coming out white with dry wall dust. Dry wall opening left too large for light fixture to cover. Shower unit installed out of square which will resulted in floor tile now being out of square. Kirk Brickwood promised to cover & protect the new heating system, hardwood floors, windows & wood shutters. Nada. Damage to wood floors, new baseboard heaters & new replacement windows. Extreme amounts of dirt and debris inside of new vinyl windows tracks. All areas left extremely dirty. The electrical inspector never showed up for the final inspection. Our attempts to contact & resolve issues with contractor failed. He would not respond. He put a lien against our home for the balance of $1460.00. We paid this to keep our credit sound. We feel Kirk Brickwood blackmailed us by putting a lien against our home instead of contacting us to resolve the issues I mentioned in my complaint. We also reported him to the Better Business Bureau. They had no better luck with him than we did.
Description of Work: They were supposed to remove plaster, put in all new electrical, hang & finish drywall with 2 finish coats on the ceilings and primed walls ready for paint, install a shower unit plus the plumbing.
