Used this guy last year, was impossible to contact but, somehow he finally showed up. Service was OK I suppose. Tried him again this year and after 10 or 12 texts, all but one ignored, I finally gave up and moved on to someone who actually could respond to a message. If you are looking for someone who will ignore you, this is your guy/

Billy has done work before for us, at a fair price. However in the last year his level of service has not matched the prices he charges. A recent system check out was done superficially at a cost of $160. He was gone in 10 minutes. Recently he arrived to evaluate and repair a non functioning compressor. It was determined that it needed freon. He did not assess for any leakage or additional needed repair. His charge was $185 for a 10 minute visit. Two days after his visit the compressor was once again non functioning. After a phone call to tell him he needed to return to assess the repairs needed he confirmed he would be here the next day at noon. He did not return the next day as planned. A follow up phone call that afternoon was met with an answering machine on which was left a message. He did not return the message. A second message was left the following day, which was never returned. To date, he has not returned to check out his repairs nor returned any phone calls. We will not use his services again.

Since we moved in he kept having heating issues, I had multiple HVAC and quot;specialistsand quot; in who did nothing but take my money. They didn't really know what they were doing. Billy came in and diagnosed the problem immediately. He fixed the issue and charged me a fair rate. Malaco will be my HVAC specialist from now on.

For years we couldn't get heat to two rooms in our house. Several contractors did various fixes over the years and we tried adding insulation, but nothing worked. We got to the point where my daughter was sleeping in my son's room with him all winter each year because her room was so unbearably cold and we couldn't fix it. Billy checked it out and immediately noted that part of the zone is in a central (ie, warmer) part of the house, and the other part of the zone is above the garage and below the attic (ie, colder). He felt that no matter where we moved the thermostat, the heat wouldn't be dispersed evenly - either one part would be too cold or the other part would be too hot. He found the simplest and least expensive way to split the zone into two without adding too much additional duct work and without requiring an additional unit. He also noticed unnecessarily long ducts that he cut to shorter lengths so they would work more efficiently. He did the work at a very reasonable price in just two days, and my daughter finally has heat in her room. He also noted a few other things about our heating system that could be improved, and offered to fix them - with no pressure on me to spend extra money. He noted that he could get the materials at cost (whereas I'd pay retail in a store), and that added labor would be minimal to nothing since he was already at our house and the additional jobs were quick. He helped me make decisions about what made sense from an economical standpoint, balanced with added benefit to our heating system. Some other points to note: Billy answered the phone personally each and every time I called - I never had to leave messages and wonder if and when I was going to get a response. Unlike many contractors, he was extremely diligent about making and keeping appointments. Such a nice person, very professional and easy to work with, knowledgeable, prices his work fairly, was not the least bit pushy, and pulled no and quot;salesmanand quot; stunts. I will continue to call him whenever we need HVAC work, and I recommend him highly.

Billy has been to our home a few times. He is always professional and pleasant. His charges are very fair. I am very comfortable recommending him to anyone.
