+ 2 moreI can strongly recommend Barry Snitman, who did several weeks of work for me recently. Tons of refinishing moldings, window sills, caulking, you name it. My cats and the sun had wreaked havoc with my natural wood contemporary. Now it looks new again. Barry is very smart, inventive and honest. Highest recommendation. Barry is at (914) 393-0674.

He also repaired and painted exterior shingles on my house. Prompt, professional and competitively priced, I highly recommend his services and will contact him again when needed.

Description of Work: Barry has done so many different things for us over the years, including electrical, plumbing, window replacement, tiling, painting.... the list goes on and on. His molding work and painting is top notch - I wouldn't think of calling other contractors for these services. He can also do special jobs - he recently custom built a window seat with built in storage, decorative moldings and heating grates. It is beautiful, sturdy and functional, and well worth the money we spent. He does really good work, his pricing is fair, and most importantly, he is reliable and trustworthy!

+ 0 moreBarry has been in business for many years, is well respected and comes highly recommended by many residential and commercial clients. I could get up and go to work knowing he would arrive on time, let himself in and be trusted to work independently in my home. I would return to a clean house each day. And of course, his work style is like that of a fine artist. There aren't very many contractors you can say all this about. As a small business owner in Westchester myself, i know that is priceless.
Description of Work: Barry took on a varied list of projects in my home where others had repeatedly failed to come through . We went room by room inside and out, identifying where neglected maintenance or the previous winter's snow had wreaked havoc. He replaced sections of sheetrock, patched and painted in several rooms; he removed glass doors from a bath and replaced with a rod; he replaced all the decking on my wood deck. He procured all the materials and saved me time and trips to stores. He removed all debris and made my life easier. Not only did he do what I requested, he provided guidance and used his expertise to get it all done using the best options.
