We had written a review 3 years ago when we first hired Maids2theRescue and recommended the service. Sadly, we NO longer would refer this service. The quality of cleaning deteriorated throughout the years. Many times the service was late to show up, and when they did, many things were overlooked and NOT done. They constantly were changing the days of the service and also were not very honest in the end with their explanations of why they were not coming to clean. We had referred the service to other friends and since heard that they fired them due to poor service!!! In addition, the service had a key to our house. We had requested our key back once we informed them that we would no longer need their services. It took multiple communications, most of which were NOT answered, and several weeks before we received our key. We would rather clean our own house than be taken advantage of.

It went horribly wrong. Cheryl responds to phone calls & would come to your home to give you an estimate. What went wrong was the price for what she didn't do. It snowed about 3 feet in LI 2 days before cleaning date and I went out of my way from Queens to bring her the keys in Moriches. She came to clean 2 days later the same day the movers where coming, but would have plenty of time while the movers where with me in Queens. She stated she would come at 6 am & assured me on the phone the house was spick & span clean & all dust removed after she was done. None of that was true. The house still had tons of dust even in the kitchen cabinets, walls , fixtures, etc. What made it worse was not even the refrigerator under one of the cabinets was rid of what the previous owners left growing in there. Nor was the microwave rid of all the caked on grease from the vent. She was made aware that I was very displeased of her lying spending 6 hrs that showed nothing was done. I had to hire the cleaning lady I use now to do what she should've done!!! I would never use her or recommend her. Can't confirm she came at 6 am because the work surely didn't show it!

Cheryl comes in every week, on time to do our house cleaning. She dusts, vacuums, mops, bathrooms, and the kitchen. We have 3 dogs and I am very pleased with her hard work every week. The house smells clean when I come in, the floors are spic and span and at night getting into clean sheets on my bed are the best part! Cheryl is very trustworthy, and reliable. I am so grateful to have her. I would recommend her to anyone!
