BETTER LIVING SUNROOMS BY QUEENS SCREEN

We contracted in Mar of 2012, the work did not start until May of 2012 and was basically finished in late Oct of 2012...Throughout the entire job, we were never able to get in touch with him and when we did he would tell us they would be out to finish and we would wait all day and no one showed up...He was extremely lax in returning our call, the boys were ready to continue the job had the framing up when I noticed there were not going to be all glass when I asked the boys they checked the contract and found iz was right and had to take down the framing, order the glass and rebuild the frame work...Further on the owner placed the support beams to find he had cut one to short and when asked he said a shim would do , my husband had to insist on putting a proper fitting support in....all while we waited and waited for this small 10 x 10 room to be finished...the young men working for the Company were exceptional and we have no complaints with them or their work....At one point the room was closed in and on a very rainy day the water was pouring in down the wall....one more thing to fix and hold up the finish of the room...We were supposed to pay him in installments as the work was done and we kept our end of the bargain....We did not finance the room we paid him in cash on the designated dates we agreed upon at contract....Foolish us....We asked if an electrical inspection was needed he said no but we find out there has to be one, which is still not done and here we are in almost August of 2013 with no electrical inspection and no Certificate of Occupancy...When asked when that would be we were told the town was waiting for papers and so this past week I called the town and was told the permit had expired in May of 2013 and no communications of any kind of inspection had been requested and that a new renewal permit must be applied for and then an inspector will come out and look at the work....Well I could go on and on for pages far to many things to write about, the bottom line is STAY AWAY FROM QUEENS SCREENS.....the owner is lax in his communication skills and anyone who lies to us after being paid for the work on time can not be trusted in my book...

WELL, IT WAS A PRETTY EASY JOB. HE JUST CAME OVER AND DID IT. I WAS EXTREMELY PLEASED WITH HOW QUICKLY HE CAME OUT ALSO WITH HOW POLITE AND PROFESSIONAL HE WAS.
