CES has been servicing customers throughout the Tri-State region of New York's Catskill Mountains, Eastern Pennsylvania & Northern New Jersey with dependable propane gas, home heating fuel oil, kerosene, diesel fuel, bio-fuel deliveries and HVAC service & installations. CES started as a one truck business and has grown to being one of the largest gas & oil suppliers in the region while remaining independently owned & run by the Taylor family. Our three offices and four local storage facilities ensure we have the fuel & resources available when you need it regardless of the weather outside. Whether it's brand new construction, an older home where you have lived for years, weekend residence, business, farm or restaurant, we are committed to providing you with the information, products and services you deserve to help you efficiently maintain your comfort year in and year out. So far, so good.
Description of Work: Needed new propane service here in Bethel, NY. This is an area where finding reliable services/people is a challenge to say the least. CES crew came out and submitted estimate which we signed off on for 3 years of service. They brought out and set the new tank two weeks ago but haven't been back since. My guess is that the holidays and onset of winter have them busy—a good thing. Their other customer on our short road seemed pretty satisfied with their service so I'm optimistic and will check in with a progress report on service and pricing as things evolve.

Description of Work: We were converting to propane and we called CES and they cam right away (next day ) with a propane tank and hooked it up temporarily. Waiting for final installation in the spring which was my choice. Very professional. Propane price per gallon was in line with others maybe a bit less.

Description of Work: I contacted CES customer service regarding repair of my propane boiler. They asked if I was a fuel purchasing customer under contract with them, which I was not. They said they could not help unless I was??? | Useless for my repair problem.

[member name removed] -- thanks for the comments -- BUT, we simply provide service for customers that purchase propane from us. Goes with supporting a large service department of well trained techs that are available 24 hrs per day for emergencies, maintenance and new installations. What happened to YOUR propane provider where they wouldn't provide service - but then you would feel you could be upset with us since you don't buy your propane from our company? We have 16 service technicians on staff, been delivering & servicing to propane gas & fuel oil customers since 1968 -- but YES, we require customers to buy their propane or fuel oil from us -- why not switch over to CES and we'll be more than happy to give you amazing service! Mr. [member name removed]-- I'm sorry to hear that you felt we were too restrictive. We gained over 1800 new customers in 2013 and over 1500 in 2012. Not sure what you found restrictive, we find that we are wayyyyyy less restrictive than all the big nationwide Wall Street propane companies. Don't hold pistols to our customers heads if they want to change providers. If you want to call us to let us know what you felt was wrong, we'd be happy to see if we can assist you. OR - you can put it on here and we'll be happy to answer it right here. Truth is -- we have thousands and thousands of satisfied customers and have been delivering / servicing propane gas and fuel oil customers all over the tri-state area for over 45 years! There was a little confession on the day for the institutions, but they came the next day and the guys did a great job. They where knowledgeable, efficient and very fast. I was very happy with their services.

Perfect
Description of Work: We use CES for a bundled package of services. Gas provider, gas system repairs and budget services. We find that when you call CES the company CSR's are extremely good at scheduling and follow through for our needs. The last event we used them on was a gas supply issue with a free service they provide. Our tank sends the main of the amount of fuel we have ( no cost for this service ) on hand so they can deliver diligently at the best cost for the delivery. The unit was not working and " Tom" the dispatcher provided us with EXACT details and times the serviceman would be there and again CES did the work perfectly.

I cam home from work one evening col winter evening and found that my house was very cold. I went to my utility room and found that my oil boiler would not light. I called Combined Energy Sericcs and they cam out that evening and got the unit up and running again. The next day the contacted us by phone to make sure the unit was still running okay and if there was any thing else they could do for us.
Description of Work: Replaced sensors on oil boiler and adjusted settings.
