Mickey's Carting

The home that we have is out in Montauk and we use Mickey's Carting to do our lawn for us. They are good.

When we called them, we asked about prices. They were so expensive (5 times the rate of a normal garbage collection fee) that we assumed it was the monthly total fee. Turns out it was what they were charging us for one week. They agreed on 2 cans each time, but then charged us double saying that was not agreed upon. Issues like that began from the beginning. The worst part of all was the woman who seemed to be in charge of billing and these crazy, irrational decisions. She was the most unprofessional, nasty woman for no reason we could find. We were even tempered all the way through so we know we weren't provoking it. She just seemed like an unhappy person who like to spread it around. Needless to say, the whole experience was lousy. When we questioned the high fees, we were told that all the companies charged the same. We decided to research and make some calls. Within minutes, we found a company (still servicing all of the "hamptons" area and up-island a ways) that had fees one quarter of their charges! We quickly switched and their service has been excellent and reasonable. Beware of Mickey's Carting (garbage & containers).
