Description of Work: Prep for sale of house: installed new skylights, re-edged kitchen counters, new tiles in shower, replaced floor tiles, painted walls and patched ceilings, installed new light fixtures, prepped outside wood trim for painting. Everything went really well -- just need to make sure that you keep track of what has been estimated and what hasn't. We ended up paying more than we had budgeted.

Description of Work: Updated plumbing and shower fixtures in two bathrooms. Other contractors had wanted to charge over $10,000 for each bathroom to replace the tub and shower. Hire Her Home Improvement was the only contractor to suggest a much less expensive approach to modernize our plumbing without costing a great deal. Somewhat hard to contact by phone, but service and quality were excellent once on the job.

Description of Work: Gave me a couple of contacts when what I wanted was a comprehensive repair job for freeze damage and finally a blue sky price when she finally dropped by. I have been in the business one way or another for more than sixty years and I figured that she was busy and did not want the job and brushed me off rather than telling me. If you want to drive customers away just fail to return calls.

Description of Work: I tried to go to the location with the address specified on both Angies list and the company website and it put me into a residential neighborhood (the address was a house with no sign stating a business existed there).. I called and left a message stating that maybe there was a GPS error and did get a messaging machine with the Company name. I left a message and have still not heard back from them. it is possible they moved but I still did not receive a call back from my message.

Description of Work: I email and called this provider on more than one occasion due to the great reviews. No one from this company had the common courtesy or professionalism to call back. That falls under "just another crappy contractor" in my book.

Description of Work: I called Hire Her to get an estimate on installing a shower panel. She arrived at the time she said she would. She told me what her plumber would do and gave me a very reasonable price for the job. Before contacting Hire Her, I call the plumber that I have been using for years and was quoted what I felt was a very high price for the work. I didn't use Hire Her because my Father In Law was able to install the shower panel for me. Based on my experience, I would have no hesitation in using her services in the future.

Description of Work: I both called and emailed this company and received absolutely no response. Sorry, I feel that this is very unprofessional. At least return the call and explain that you are too busy.
