Merry Maids of Mineola

The women who work for this branch of Merry Maids are excellent; polite, unobtrusive and thorough. That said, my experience of the service has been negatively affected by the very poor management of the company. We have been having Merry Maids clean the house since August 2008. During that time (3 months) we have not had a single instance of punctuality. Generally, the manager calls to confirm the time the day before (a good thing), often changing the time from what was agreed upon the previous week (a bad thing for me). Half the time the women show up late anyway. Late can mean an hour or several hours beyond the scheduled time. I have received several phone calls alerting me to this lateness well after the agreed upon start time. For a working mother of two with a full and busy life this is unacceptable. I would like to continue the service because the women do a good job, but I just can't spend a day waiting for the women to show up/not show up. If the management could get their act together, I would happily go back to using the service. At this point, however, I am shopping for a new cleaning service.

I LOVE THE WAY MERRY MAIDS WORK. I PAY ON THE FIRST OF YEAR AND THEY COME OUT TO MY HOME ONCE A MONTH AND CLEAN MY HOME. I AM VERY HAPPY WITH MERRY MAIDS AND WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM.

THE SERVICE IS GETTING BETTER, BUT IT STILL IS NOT VERY GOOD. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY. YOU CAN GET THE SAME TYPE OF SERVICE FROM A COMPANY THAT CHARGES MUCH LESS.

THEY DID A LOUSY JOB. THEY HAD TO COME BACK TWICE AND THE HOUSE WAS STILL NOT CLEAN. THEIR ATTITUDES WERE POOR AND THEY REALLY DID A POOR JOB CLEANING BUT THEY THOUGHT THEY DID A GOOD JOB. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE.

I AM NOT TOO HAPPY WITH HOW THIS COMPANY CLEANS MY HOME. THEY ARE SUPPOSED TO DUST AND CLEAN THE KITCHEN, THEY DO NOT MOVE ANYTHING. THEY JUST DUST AND CLEAN AROUND THE ITEMS AND I DO NOT CARE FOR THAT.

THEY WERE EASY GOING PEOPLE. ANYTHING THAT I WANTED THEM TO DO THEY DID. THEY DID DUSTING AND CLEANED AND WAXED ALL MY FLOORS. THEY RENTED A FLOOR WAXING MACHINE AND WAXED THREE BEDROOMS TWO LARGE BATHS. THEY DID A WONDERFUL JOB.
