Terrible, terrible experience: 1. He did not finish the job contracted. 2. Did not build patio as we contracted and didn’t discuss changes with us. 3. Did not clean up the job site— thew debris over our fence; put contractor debris in our garbage cans; left behind garbage. 4. Charged our card without consulting us. 5. Refused to fix things that weren’t to code. 6 Created landscaping damage elsewhere by driving his truck up our driveway. 7. He sent us a series of hostile emails when we asked questions about the project.

Not well, signed contract on 6/7/19. Contract states work to begin 7 to 10 days to start. Per contractor, unable to start until 7/17/19. I agreed. Pattern was to be a staggered pattern, cut out of the bluestone rectangles. There was an addition of a 8x16 area to accommodate a hot tub before work began. Took constant prodding to get work moving along, Work completed on 8/27/19, almost 6 weeks later. Shoddy work. staggered pattern was abandoned when rear patio was started.Many things had to redone because they were incorrect or not level. Area where hot tub will be was supposed to buit over 8x8 concrete slab. After 2 slabs were poured uneven, 2nd one was broken up and incorporated into gravel below. Big gaps in bluestone in this area plus stones not lined up properly and several places where grout is missing. Also facing where bluestone overlay goes into garage near door not finished. To put the icing on the cake, After I paid all of my installments (except final one upon completion) with proper documentation from contractor, he made 4 charges to my credit card (which I had been using to pay for this) without notification. Final charge was $750 more than contract price. Had to cancel my credit card and dispute overcharge, which I will not have to pay. I now have a cob job of a patio, and contractor has over $26,000 of my money.Have contacted a lawyer. How can you reccommend someone who does business like this. Please, if anyone is considering using this guy, turn around and run- don't walk.Another professional that I have been using for other work cannot believe this work, and has said that if they had known I was considering him, they would have warned me, because they have been called in by other customer's to fix work he did for them.
