Mike and the crew were fantastic. The Driveway’s cracks were filled with hot patch and then sealed entirely. It came out beautifully. After 3 different estimates, Custom Paving was the most reasonably priced and thorough with their work.

Mike was prompt, professional, and explained everything in detail. He and gis crew were diligent, and they exceeded my expectations. I would highly recommend.

Custom Paving and seal coating came as a referral from my friend who had their driveway paved last year by them. Mike came to meet with my husband the same week I called requesting a quote. My husband felt he was honest and gave good advice on how we should proceed with our driveway since it was half paved, half mud/old leftover gravel. We decided for now just to have the muddy part of our driveway graveled (which was approximately 75 feet) and Mike and his crew got the job done within two weeks of the initial quote. The crew showed up on time and got the job done in less than four hours. Our driveway came out exactly how we expected and once we are ready to have our driveway paved we will definitely be calling Mike back as returning customers.

Mike and his team are awesome. Not only did his company do a terrific job, Mike himself pointed out the flaws from the original company we used. Had we had known what we know now thanks to Mike, we would definitely have hired him. Mike went so far to say He would check in on the job periodically to let us know if we had any problems and he would let us know what he could do . Finally, the steps Mike and his team did to make sure the job was done without any damage to our garage doors and siding is not something the other company did . Mike Smith came exactly at 8:30 AM, as he had said. He and his crew were very friendly. In fact, Mike always greets you with a smile. They did a great job in seal coating my driveway.

We hired Custom Paving and Sealcoating to replace, repair and add to our drive way. We signed a contract to do that. On 5/8/23 the contract was signed and the work began. The owner, Mike Smith, asked that we write the checks out to his brothers company, JW Smith Paving. They were there as well to do the job as was the brother. All of the equipment said JW Smith on it. We wrote 2 checks to JW Smith that were both cashed. After the job was complete it was clear that the job was done haphazard. The driveway was supposed to be 2" thick with item 4 under it. The asphault was 8" thick in places. There was even over 3" of asphault blocking a doorway. Where they made the asphault 8" thick it was covering part of the siding on the garage and the siding was melted. They put some of the asphault directly on the grass and it is only 1.5" thick. There are places the item 4 is coming through the asphault already. They installed a drain that is crooked and empties onto a trouph they cut in the lawn. The brand new driveway already needs to be removed and replaced and it hasnt even been driven on. It is a nightmare.

Mike was excellent! He communicated well. Due to rain he had to reschedule, he communicated immediately and showed up when he was supposed to. His work was excellent and he was super polite. Will use again!!!

Mike is great, very responsive, got the job done when he said they would and was quick and efficient. He'll tell you that he loves what he's doing and it's obvious that he does and that he cares about the quality of his work and the clients he's working for. Highly recommend!

Just wanted to let the neighbors know about a great experience... I cannot say enough regarding Custom Sealcoating & Paving !! Mike's sincerity and professionalism is unmatched. As you know, it has been a very rainy season with sun in the am and showers in the afternoon. Mike made the decision (with my permission), NOT to sealcoat my mother's driveway due to the possibility of rain because he stands behind his work and is a perfectionist. We had tentatively set other appointments that were rained out. Finally, today came and we could not be happier with Mike and Brandon's work. Perfect. Mike showed up for the estimate when he said he would and completed the work as agreed upon. Job was well done. Already recommended 2 neighbors to him, one of which had it done also and is very happy.

Mike was a pleasure to work with. He was very careful and put on a nice thick coat. The driveway looks great! I would definitely hire again.

Driveway cracks filled and driveway sealed

It went very well. Mike Smith is an awesome guy, and very friendly. He was here throughout the whole project supervising and even doing the work himself. I was amazed at the speed which they worked. They did my driveway in 3 hours and 45 minutes. I would hire him again.

Mike was very responsive and professional. He showed up on time for the estimate, provided a complete overview, and was honest about what could be fixed, and not fixed. The finished product looks incredible! I was at work when Mike performed the work. He texted before and after pictures and made sure I was satisfied. Excellent - would definitely use again.

Excellent. Mike Smith is an honest guy you can trust. He previously had done our driveway. Ripped out the old one and put in a whole new one while expanding it. He did a fantastic job then too. He explains everything in great detail so that you understand your project completely. His pricing is also transparent which you don't always see anymore. I would certainly hire him again.

Very well, the cracks were hot filled and a nice sealer was applied. The driveway was in rough shape, they removed the weeds in the cracks, edged, and cleaned up after themselves, they did a great job.

Mike was an outstanding professional. He was very meticulous in explaining what work would need to be done and how much it would cost when he came to examine my driveway for an estimate. He answered my questions in detail and provided advice as well. The actual work was quick and of high quality. I would hire again.

While walking our dogs we saw Mike and his employee sealing a driveway in the neighborhood. The driveway looked phenomenal. We had been looking to have this done to our driveway and in seeing the quality of work first hand my husband went and spoke to Mike about coming by to give an estimate. He said he would be by after he finished a few jobs in the area. True to his word, he came and gave us a great price and he even offered to do the job right then and there! We agreed and he and his employee started and completed the job! The driveway looks brand new! A neighbor and took his card as well Mike is very knowledgeable, Professional, respectful, meticulous and also has a great sense of humor! Highly recommend! We are having him return in the fall to have some other work done! A++
