I had already used Skip for the interior of my home (approx 4500 sq ft) and was very happy. so I asked his company to do the exterior. They did a great job. They are punctual, thorough, neat and do a quality job. I recommend Skip without hesitation.

We were originally told that six men would be sent to do the painting. He called me a week before the job was to begin. He told us he needed to push the job back a week. The owner came out himself to do the job because he said they were busy, and wanted to start the job. He got stain on the windows. He just let paint drip. He seemed to be getting frustrated. When I brought this to his attention, he told me to get a blade and remove it. When the painter showed up, he did do his best to get the paint off the new windows. The painter was meticulous. He did the job all by himself. The owner was very careless when spraying the stain. He got it all over my grass. I was not happy with the owner at all. He never called me back to see if I was happy. I do not recommend them to anyone. I was happy with the painter, not with the owner. The owner had a very poor attitude. He did not take any responsibility. He is very thin skinned when I brought anything to his attention. He did not care at all.

I identified three contractors through Angie's List. Skip's bid was the middle bid. He provided important details and set clear expectations in his bid. His team worked on time, both starting and completing the job as expected. The work was neat and professional and we are very happy with the result. I expect to use him for the exterior of my house as well (11,500 bid for the exterior).

They were incredibly prompt and professional. Skip (I think) came out with a couple of days and gave us a thorough evaluation of the external paint condition, including testing for lead and discussing color questions. He was also very honest in saying that we could wait a couple of years before painting, unlike other providers who (obviously) urged that we do it ASAP. The estimate was also the lowest we got. Though we have not yet had the painting done (as per Certapro's recommendation), when we do, we will be calling them.

My house was recent new construction. I met with the owner who did a complete walktru with me, helped select colors, make molding choices and gave me an estimate. His staff started the job a week later. The took 1 week to paint all of the walls, high ceilings and molding in my house and install decorative molding is selected rooms. They were on time every day, worked cleanly and completed the time in exactly the timeframe agreed to. I had one minor issue that needed correction and the owner handled it personally. I was very pleased with their service and the results.

Two gentlemen handled the job, and they were both very professional and courteous. Their prep-work was thoroughly done. They were very careful to pay attention to detail, and I was really pleased with how well they cleaned up after themselves. Also, their communication was excellent throughout the project. Overall, it was a good experience, and our home looks great!

Well, first I'd like to say the owner Skip presented himself and the company in the best of ways. Estimate was fair and so we decided to go with this company. Two young men showed up to do the powerwashing which was done well. Then a crew of 4 men came to paint the exterior of my home. I can't say enough about them especially the young man in charge (Valentino) who was obviously well seasoned and knew how to get the job done and done well. Kudos to Skip for his great choices in employees which we all know can make or break a successful job !!THANKS AGAIN !!

Skip came the very day I called to give me an estimate. Within a matter of days the job was complete. Skip sent a color specialist to my home and Carmela gave me many hints plus helped choose colors that would flow from room to room since my house has an open floor plan. The job came out just beautiful. Jorge and Marcos were on time, worked diligently, paid attention to detail, and asked what I wanted as they went along. When the job was complete, they asked me to go through it all to see if I was happy. It would be a pleasure to have them back to do more work at my home. I recommend them highly.

They just finished a few days ago and they did a great job. They were one of the highest rated on Angie’s List so we had them come out for a quote. The quotes that we got were about the same but this company seemed more on top of things and better with communication. They did a good job and they were very detailed about letting us know about each step and what they were doing.

Skip Marsh's team did a great job. The work they performed totally transformed the house. Our walls were in really bad shape before the team came. Jorge, the team lead, proved to be an "expert" spackler and really did a nice job on the walls. As with any job, we did find a few issues after the team left that were relatively minor. What was great about working with Skip was that he wanted to come to the house and see for himself, and without hesitation or expressing any frustration, he said they would take care of it - and they did - and the job really came out well. I have never had a better experience working with a contractor than I did with Skip Marsh. I would recommend using his company without hesitation and I plan to bring them back for any additional painting I need to do in the future.

Certapro did a great job and were very professional and neat. When there was extra work to be done, replacing a riser or a trim board, they were able to do it well. When something did not look right, the boss came and made sure it was redone. My only caveat: They have a very detailed contract which must be read carefully. Its indicates that loose paint will be removed and the area repainted. That does not include sanding the area to make sure the uneven areas are melded together. When I pointed out one area like that, the painters fixed it. However, there were several other areas I saw after the painters had left. They might have come back to fix it if I had called them back.

Skip was very professional and responsive to my questions. Once given the okay, he got things going in a very timely and orderly manner. Pierce was a pleasure to work with. He and his crew did a terrific job from start to finish. I highly recommend this company.

CertaPro customizes services for a particular family/residence with great attention to personal preferences and living circumstances. Painters hired demonstrated enlightened aesthetic sensibility. Their work does not come across as "just another job." Estimates and plans reflect realistic response to existing building conditions--in our case a 1933 house remodeled numerous times with a diversity of craftsmanlike and uncraftsmanlike work. Their excellent paint job pulls the whole together. They understand this.

The project was very successful from beginning to end. The appraiser was on time, gave us a start date and the workers showed up as scheduled. They were neat, careful and worked diligently for four full days. They took care with moving our furniture and cleaned up at the end of each day. I would highly recommend this company.

Skip and his painters were a pleasure to work with. I plan to use them for all future painting.

I have a cedar shingle house and my landscaping was covering some of the part that needed to be pressure washed and they did not do this area at all. These bushes were not touching the home since they had been trimmed back so there was no reason for them to not get this area taken care of.

Skip is very helpful in the selection of colors, estimating the costs, going over details of the job and making suggestions to enhance the results. The crew is very punctional, the quality of the work is excellent, and they are great at cleaning up at the end of the day. Skip is very professional, highly responsive, and his crew is great. I made changes during the job and Skip was very flexible to meet new requirements. The job was completed on time as committed with follow up to make sure I was completely satisfied. Neat, clean on time with perfect results

Job went smoothly, despite the never ending rain of June 2009. Always reachable, even when the news was all bad. ( Regarding scheduling due to weather)

After finding CertaPro on Angie's list and checking out member reviews who have used their services I was impressed with the feedback. I then when onto Skip's website to see pictures of projects he completed. I was more impressed by their work. I called for an estimate appointment and was given one that fit into my work schedule.I like the fact that when I called they asked me what I had in mind for the project including what colors of paint and suggested I go on the CertaPro website to use the color wheel to see what the possible color combos might look on a house like mine. I did as they suggested. The day of the appointment Skip arrived on time. We met, then walked around my house. He pointed out what needed to be done and then we talked about colors. I ended up using the color combo that Skip recommended as the ones I picked were all wrong as they would have made the house look like a bunker or a battleship. Not the look I was going for. He led me to a combo that I never even thought of and it's perfect! I was given a call and send an e mail as to when the work would begin and who would be the job site supervisior and what time they would arrive. The crew arrived on time, the job site supervisior Billy introduced himself to me and I meet the crew. From start to finish the crew were very professional. At all times during the project they let me know what they were doing, when they were going to take a lunch break and what time they planned on finishing the work for the day-usually late in the day-they put in a lot of hours each day. They kept their work space neat and clean and even placed the trash they generated at the curb for pickup. While the job progressed they only asked for 1/3 of the total owed on day 1 and upon completion after the final walk around the remainder of the balance. They did a fantastic job, it looks like a new house! I would highly recommend then to anyone who is looking for a professional yet friendly company who know their stuff and the price is right.

2 powerwashers from Certapro arrived on time, did a very thorough job powerwashing our home. However, in the process, they stripped our exterior white paint from various trim areas around the front door, back door, and garage. They also left their tools in the yard and did not move back our BBQ grill which they had moved to do the job. The owner came back the next day, inspected the work and assured us that he would come back and fix the painted areas that were stripped when it was "dry". It has been about 4 weeks now, he has yet to come to fix the paint, and has not returned our calls. We are going to have to repaint the exterior areas ourselves as its pretty clear he does not intend to take care of it.
