They did an AMAZING JOB!! When my husband first met Jim, he liked him right away, so we went with him. It was Absolutely the Best Decision I made! My standards were Very High. Working at my house was Gabriel and two other men, they went Above and Beyond and Exceeded my Expectations! They did an Absolutely BEAUTIFUL Job!! Their Attention Detail is like no Other, my house looks Beautiful, Amazing because of Jim and his employees!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM! You will not be Disappointed!! They are Trustworthy, Honest and Professional! I can't express enough how happy I am with the paint job they did at my house! They also wallpapered the ceilings in my house, that as well came out Beautiful!!

I have never been more satisfied with a vendor as I am with the house painting job completed by Skip and his company, CertaPro of Port Jefferson. Indeed, I would, without hesitation, recommend them to anyone seeking a consummately professional job! After receiving a number of price quotes, and based upon on line reviews, I chose CertaPro (whose prices were extremely reasonable and competitive). Skip met with me and thoroughly reviewed what needed to be done and explained, in detail, the step by step process that would be followed. Skip is highly professional and neither patronizes nor pressures customers. The job took six days and primarily involved three workers. Each of the workers were highly professional (punctual each and every day) and kept me fully informed each step of the way. Beyond their obvious technical skills, they were courteous, respectful of my home, and completely trustworthy. Indeed, I felt absolutely comfortable affording them full access to my house as needed without any need of supervision. Skip would periodically review the work and insured that the tiniest issues were addressed. Indeed, on the last day, after my review found nothing that needed attention, Skip and his men spent an hour doing a final review and touch up that was remarkable for its detail and going beyond the "call of duty." The end result: my house looks absolutely beautiful and I am very proud of it. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this company and the men who work for it. It would be hard to conceive of any company that could have done a better job.

Skip and his team were terrific! They even made it to my home in a snowstorm. Skip arranged for a color consultation in my home and I am so happy with the results!

They did a pretty decent job. They changed some woodwork. They forgot to do two windows and had to come back. They were pretty good. I would probably use them again because they are the only one that I know in the area.

Excellent! I am SO pleased with the outcome. The job wound up being a little more involved, Skip came up with a solution and held to budget. Jorge did most of the work on the project and he was excellent. Showed up on time, and did a good job cleaning up.

Excellent. The estimated amount of paper was correct. Skip came for estimate and sent me email the same day. They showed up on time and were neat and did an excellent job. I would recommend highly.

Very well. Skip came the same day I called for an estimate. It cost around $600 (all included). They finished spackling and painted the walls and ceiling all in one day. Cleaned up after, also. We were pleased with the job.

I not the first time I have used Certa Pro. I didn't even get another estimate this time. just called Skip and hired him. they arrived on time, did their job in somewhat of a challenging scenario but all came out well in the end. Painting is my least favorite job to get done but it was as painless as possible. would not hesitate to use them again if I ever need painting again which I am hoping I never do.

The interior and exterior work occurred on different days a couple months apart. Interior - The crew arrived on time and on the day scheduled and painted 8 interior doors and trim. They finished in one day and while the painting quality was good, the clean-up left a little to be desired. We found paint splatters for a week or so afterwards and where paint was wiped up there was a dull white finish. We were able to clean everything so there was no lasting effects. Before the second crew came back to work on the exterior columns, I spoke with Skip to express my dissatisfaction about the clean up on the interior work. I also emphasized that 3 of the exterior columns were on or adjacent to a new composite deck and there could be no splatters or spills this time around. Skip listened to my concerns and made it a point to insure his crew took extra precautions to make sure there was not a repeat. Exterior - Again, the crew arrived on time and on the day scheduled. It two days to complete the job and the crew took great pains to make sure our new deck was not impacted in any way. I would use CertaPro again.

The owner was very responsive and honest with us. His team of painters were prompt and did a great job of both painting and cleaning up. We had one wall that was particularly difficult and they came back to fix it with no problem. We enjoyed working with Skip and his crew. We will do so again when we have any painting needs.

The person who gave the estimate for the job was the owner and not the painters. The painters arrived on time and prepared to work. Very friendly and clean. Left for lunch and arrived back ready to work. One painter came back the next morning to finish the job. Very professional.

Terrible experience - I highly caution hiring them. The guys assigned to us take a ton of smoke breaks, use a great deal of profanity, and do not give attention to detail. For example - they forgot to paint the trim around one of our windows and our sliding door. I asked the guys (repeatedly to go back and paint it) and they never did. Phone calls to the company have gone unanswered. As if that was not enough, they spilled a large amount of paint on our Cambridge patio. They informed me they would clean it, what they did was basically hose off the patio, leaving a stain. While they have do have drop cloths - they don't really use them. We now have gray paint stains on our patio furniture, central air unit, and patio.

Nancy and Jim were great. I felt like they treated my home like it was there own. Furniture, floors, cabinets were completely covered. Paint and repair turned out great! I would refer them in a second!

Can set up appointments electronically and the owner is a rapid responder to email. The in-home color counselling is a wonderful service addition; together we had it figured out in a half hour (3 colors/same family) - sure beats the overwhelming array of paint store chips. The painting teams were professional, personable, courteous and, as one would expect, highly skilled. The spackling (there was a lot of repair needed) was expertly done and the painting was perfect. The job began as promised and finished on time. The owner stopped by to check on progress on the last day. I don't think I'll ever do my own painting again. Lesson learned - if you want it done right the first time, use a pro.

I am very satisfied with the work done. they arrived exactly on time, and who doesn't love that. they did exactly what they were supposed to do. they protected everything with plastic before doing anything. they were prepared, they were professional and they did a great job. I would use them again in a minute for any future painting needs. thank you Skip and crew for a job well done.

Absolutely perfect! Anyone looking for a paint contractor need look no further. CertaPro is prompt, professional, clean, neat, fairly priced and does a great job! Our 130-year old three-story home had several poorly-applied coats of (lead) paint, resulting in extreme peeling and "alligatoring." It was awful looking. We honestly did not know if the cedar shakes could be salvaged. Skip arrived at the scheduled appointment time., thoroughly explained the entire process and we agreed to contract. The job started as agreed. The crew from CertraPro showed up promptly every morning and worked diligently to complete the job in a relatively short period of time. The crew as well as the job supervisor, Val, were extremely courteous and hard-working. There was no trace of any work done when they left - other than a sparkly new-looking home. We couldn't be happier with CertaPro's work.

We had just purchased this home in May and the previous owners had painted almost every room a hideous yellow color. Color selection was driving me insane so Skip sent Carmela Abella, a designer, to walk me through it. Her method and suggestions led me to choose the perfect combination of colors for the rooms. This, by the way, was a free service offered with any contract of more than $1000 and in my mind it was priceless. When the crew came to begin the job they arrived promptly and only took one small break every day. Any concerns I had during the process were met with a smile and rectified immediately. Jorge and his helper were professional and did an outstanding job. Would recommend highly.

All the men were courteous, friendly and professional. Arrived on time each day and worked diligently all day. Entire job took 5 days. Skip was very helpful about my color choices as I was having a hard time deciding which color to paint the house. When I went to the paint store for color selections the saleslady praised Skip highly. He also had the 4 selections I chose painted on the house in small sections to help me decide. My husband & I are very pleased with the final result.
