Serrano was A+ from start to finish. The initial consultation with the owner was extremely informative, as he covered every aspect of the project and answered all of our questions completely. There were no hidden costs and the work was done exactly as described. Every person we came into contact from the company was not only professional, but extremely helpful and efficient. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have a roof replaced. Best experience with a contractor, bar none.

Serrano II is an excellent company to work with. They exceeded our expectations with the quality of materials and work. There employees are extremely competent and friendly and their professionalism is unmatched. During the work they uncovered several areas where water had compromised the roof and they performed extensive repairs including replacement of trusses and plywood not included in the original estimate. The additional costs were very fair and done expeditiously. The owner was a pleasure to work with and provided oversight along with the foreman to make sure everything matched our expectations. Their prices were fair and competitive and based on the quality and quantity of work involved a great value for the money spent. I would highly recommend Serrano II to anyone who is considering roofing or siding replacement.

Work crew was prompt, polite and worked extremely hard during some very hot days. They did an awesome job. Everything was exactly as quoted and the roof looks great. The cleanup was very good... never found a single nail or scrap of shingle. I obtained five estimates. Serrano was certified by GAF, had the best price ($1,100 - $1,900 lower than other four contractors) and did an absolutely superb job. When I asked for references they provided hundreds of people I could call. This is a class-act company. I strongly recommend using them.

My husband and I are both very pleased with our overall experience. Erica made an excellent first impression during our initial phone call to schedule an estimate. We have to agree with her that it was definitely worth the 3-weeks we had to wait for an estimate appointment. Ovid was very thorough when he visited our home to give the estimate. He spent close to 90 minutes going over every inch of the roof and windows also. Digital photos were taken during his review and immediately printed out to show us different views of the aged roof. His thoroughness and professionalism were outstanding. After speaking with a coworker who had twice previously used Serrano II and who highly recommended them, we chose Serrano II over another roofing company from whom we had also gotten an estimate. (That roofer spent about 20 minutes doing his review and estimate.) Erica was very good at communicating with us while we had to reschedule the job twice due to bad weather. On the day the roof was replaced, the Serrano II crew arrived promptly and very quickly got to work. Despite the 90 degree temperatures, they were efficient and thorough. At the end of the day, a good amount of time and attention was given to cleaning up around the house, making sure all debris and nails were cleaned up. (We did find about 6-8 nails scattered around over the next day or so.) The only very slight criticism we have is that my husband was disappointed that he did not see or speak with Ovid either while the roof was being replaced or in the days afterward. Because Ovid was so professional and forthright during his initial visit to give us our estimate, and also our second meeting to go over and sign the contract, we had assumed he would either stop in while the work was underway or follow up with us afterward to see how the job went and inspect the roof for himself. We would definitely recommend Serrano II and plan to use them again in the Fall for repairs to the windows of our home.

Excellent! We are so pleased with the job done and the workers. They did an beautiful job, and every day cleaned up so well you wouldn't even know they were there. Very hard workers, very pleasant. We expected the job to take at least a week, maybe more. They arrived early every day, worked well past 6:00 every night, in scorching heat and humidity, and were done in 3 days. That isn't to say the job was rushed. My husband is a stickler for excellence in work done, and he couldn't be more pleased. Call them in confidence.

In 2005 I had them replace the existing aluminum siding on my house with vinyl siding and install a bay window to replace a plain picture window. The work was done expertly and efficiently. A couple years later I had to have the bay window replaced due to vandalism. Serrano was at my house and covered the window with plywood before the police had left my house! The repair and replacement was completed in less than 2 weeks. The following year, there were several snow storms and the build up on the roof had to be cleared off. I again called Serrano and they cleared off my roof the following day. With all of the above installations, there has never been any problems or corrections that needed to be addressed. I am extremely pleased with Serrano's service and highly recommend the company. I will definitely call them in the future if I have a need.

The owner and crew were extremely professional and responsive, as well as highly skilled. We were impressed and pleased with all aspects of the job. Yes, it was expensive, but we feel we got a quality job. The metal shingles should last a hundred years or more. At the end of their lifetime, they can be recycled, instead of going into a landfill. The new skylights are definitely more energy efficient than the 20 and 30 year old ones we replaced. We were pleased to find this company, because we wanted metal shingles, not " standing seam." We love our new roof and have the highest praise for Serrano ll Inc!

They did an excellent job and I highly recommend them. They're family oriented and they're honest. Their quality and workmanship was good. If there was any problem that we had it was immediately corrected.

Checked three references for Serrano - all said they were pleased with the quality of work and prices.Serrano delivered a good job on time and within budget.Crew arrived on time, quickly stripped off old shingles. Installed new felt paper, shingles and solar tube. Did a good job cleaning up work-site.

I called Serrano after sustaining damages to my home dueto hurricane Sandy. I was very disappointed with this company and wouldn't recommend them to anyone. When I initially called I spoke with an employee there named Erica and at first she quoted me a price then gives me another price after the work was done. Before this I asked Ovid Figueroa for a written estimate after he came to my home, inspected all my damages and took pictures on his phone. This was a Friday and he said that he would have it for me on Monday. He kept requesting for my insurance estimates but never provided his own estimates for the damages even after I asked several more times over a two week period. I was finally done with them and just cancelled further service due to their lack of professionalism.

It all went very, very smooth from start to finish!

Excellent service! Ovid Figueroa, the Specialty Consultant, clearly explained what had to be done to rectify all the problems I was having with the flat roof; wrote up a contract that accurately reflected what we agreed upon; arrived with the crew on the day and time he said he would, and clearly went over everything with them that had to be done. The crew, led by George, worked from 7 am to about 8 pm on the first day to be certain the roof was sealed, and worked the next few days without hiatus, until the job was completed. The site was left free of any debris at the end of each work day. I accompanied Ovid while he did the final inspection of the work, and the final cost was consistent with the estimate. This is an excellent firm with an exceptional crew. I would recommend them without hesitation.

I was going to use them. I was very very pleased with everything, but they were a little bit more than I could afford so I wasn't able to hire them. Money was the issue, not the company at all. The guy was very professional. Sometimes companies tell you they are going to do certain things and they end up not doing what they said they were going to do. I found him to be very reliable and very honest. The quote was between $9000.00 and $10000.00 and it wasn't an entire roof. It was just a portion of my roof. I don't think that he was ripping me off. It's just that he is probably incredibly meticulous about his work and probably uses top of the line material so that is what makes the price so expensive.

I got a couple of other estimates not off Angie?s List. I ultimately decided to go with another company for 2 reasons. One was that they had 3 different price levels. The other one was an individual contractor with a lower price, but I was concerned whether they will be in business 2 years down the line. Serrano called me within 5 minutes of my sending them an email. It was amazingly good. They came out the next day. I liked them well enough. When they came out, they were prompt, responsive, and polite. They came when they said they would. What I didn?t like was their rigid price structure. They only had one price level, and they weren?t flexible about it. It is just the way they do business. I was looking to have a dialogue, but I didn?t have a dialogue with them. I think that was okay, but it was not acceptable to me. Their price was the highest among all, and they were the least flexible too.

The overall experience was okay. He didn't completely fixe what he was supposed to fix. We still have a leak in the roof on one side. We have two different areas; one was around the windows, and he pulled back the sidings, where he was supposed to do the taping. It was still leaking after that. He came back and said it was the window flashing; but that he doesn't do windows. There was also a leak in another room. He came and I thought he fixed it. It was still leaking, as we had the area repainted and there is still a mark on our 20-foot ceiling. I am not completely happy with them. The guy who came out didn't have a very good attitude. I know they have been around for a while, which is why we went with them before we joined Angie's List. I felt he had a personality issue. We were not happy with them. He was fairly responsive.

Very responsive, calls were returned within 2 hours. A date and time was set. Staff showed up as scheduled and work was completed as promised. All debris was removed by vendor.

He was knowledgeable. The crew was very efficient and finished the job in three days. They cleaned up after themselves very well. I would highly recommend them.

We had Serrano install a shingle roof on the upper section and a flat roof system on the lower section which had a gradual pitch and sky lights.The Serrano team showed up when they said they would, worked hard, were neat and polite. The project was completed on time but ran over budget because a number of the underlying boards needed to be replaced in the lower roof section. When we had an issue with a gutter not working after the job someone from Serrano eventually did come out to fix the problem at no charge.
