LEAK SEEKER ROOFING CO

Needed roof replacement on my rental property, old roof had to be stripped down to the rafters, new plywood & shingles installed. Since I’m located thousands of miles away in Texas I needed someone trustworthy in New York. I selected Leak Seeker based on the reviews in Angieslist and through discussion I had with him on the telephone. My interaction with Gary has been positive and based on the feedback from my neighbor who also helps me manage the property I believe he did a good job. Gary provided me with photos to help me understand the extent of work been done. Since trust is two way process - in my situation managing a major work like roof replacement from a distance could be disastrous but I’m glad that it worked out good. I appreciate the fact that Gary started working in mid November and in spite of some very cold days he was able to complete the replacement at a date he promised.

Gary the owner did all of the work and treated my home as if it were his. The attention to detail and neatness exceeded my expectations he cleaned work area from all debris and was courteous to me and respectful to my neighbors who were slightly inconvenienced because I needed access to there yard for him to set up scaffolding which was great because it avoided bringing tools and supplies through my home

The overall experience was decent. Perhaps I would use them again but it would depend on the price.

Leak Seeker Roofing Co.'s cost is really reasonable. He is very, very nice. I would definitely use them again in the future.

IT WENT VERY GOOD

Dumpster was delivered with contractor present. Work was done promptly and professionally.

He did 3 different things at 3 different times. His prices were phenomenally lower than anybody else. The other people I got quotes from absolutely gave me no confidence that I wanted them anywhere near my property. This guy doesn't do any advertising. He was very direct and the other people over dramatized what needed to be done. He was very straightforward about it with no dramatics. He went up on the roof to see what he was up against unlike the other people. His price was below half of what other people had priced it. Other people couldn't come for at least 2 weeks and they said they would need to bring large crews. Out of the 3 times that he did work, only one time did he not just do it by himself and that one time he brought 1 other person. He did the work very quickly and none of the jobs took more than half a day. He cleaned up after himself. He was clean, efficient and in and out. I paid him on the spot so billing wasn't an issue. He didn't always arrive when he said he would but it was December in New York so the weather impacted it. We had 40 mph winds. He always called to tell me when he could do the work and he came when the weather let up. He was not a prima donna and he came and did the work. He was a very pleasant fellow to work with and he did a great job of cleanup. I was in the process of selling the house and needed to get the work done quickly. He understood that and juggled things to make it happen. He was very nicely dressed and neat. His equipment was clean, organized and neat.
