Description of Work: Intalled a fan and connected a chandalier. He installed two lights going down into my basement. He fixed a switch for me and showed me how to fix it. He consulted with my husband on getting a generator.

From start to finish Jeff was on-time to start the job , punctual and responsive to any calls or concerns Jeff @ Boomhower brought an out of the box approach and provided immediate prudent solutions for any challenges met along the way during my expansion and add on project. Completely confident and knowledgeable , this is the type of person you want working in your home when you get that urge to knock down walls and rewire things in new place as i did. Quiet comfort at the end of the day when you flip the switch and the lights turn on. This is now my electrical go to person, my electrician on retainer as you will; kudos to Boomhower electric , You will not be dissatisfied.
Description of Work: Installed multiple new outlets and fixtures , new electrical wiring and and recessed lighting to my expansion. Dimmers & under cabinet lighting for basement bar and new switches in custom locations for all.

He came and inspected purchased the generator had it delivered complete set up of generator and ran electric from newly installed transfer switch which he installed to generator.....Cost was for his electric work only.... We found him to be very professional...always kept appointments was very prompt and efficient returned calls immediately and was always available to answer any questions.....He went above and beyond to insure the job was done properly and that we were satisfied with all aspects of the project.....Cannot recommend him highly enough......We had to use the generator very shortly after it was installed during the Oct snow storm and it performed as expected.....Would not hesitate to call on him again....In short we were extremely satisfied with his work and job performence.....

+ -1 moreI would like to add that part of the $1000.00 charge was for parts. which included a new box, with circuits, the extensions cord of 20 feet with twist ends and the outlet that the cord plugs into. Also included the wiring from the box to the outlet. I shopped around and found his price to be the best.
Description of Work: I recently purchased a portable generator and wanted to have it wired directly into my home. Mr. Boomhower came to my home and gave me an estimate and when the job could be done. He went over with me everything that I needed to know about the work to be performed and made sure I understood completely. He was going to install a new electric box with all the circuit breakers that I would need to run off the generator. He would also clean up all the wiring in the box that was there now. He also would run the wiring down to my basement and out through the basement wall where he would install an outlet for the 30amp wire to be plug in that would plug into the generator. I know some people would not spend the money for a electrician to hook up the generator, but I wanted it done right and especially wanted it to be safe. Mr Boomhower and his worker came on time and completed it in the time they said. The price that they estimated was the price I paid. There was no hidden supprises. They clean up after them selves and the work area was like they were never there. I would highly recommend Jeff Boomhower to do any electric work that you may need done.
