Replaced the boiler (baseboard heat), all the piping to and from the zone valves and hot water heater. Replaced the chimney vent piping on the boiler and hot water heater. |Did an excellent job. The installation was done with quality work and very professional.

They were prompt and courteous as always and quickly reset the whole house system.

We have used Astar for years. Find them dependable, on time, reasonably priced and courteous.

We are very happy with them, they provide good service but they are pricey. Their communication is good; they came when they said they would come and they cleaned up well after work. They were very mindful of personal property and things like that. They are a professional group.

They voluntarily wear (put on) disposable paper booties over their shoes, to protect the carpet. They put the items moved back in order when they leave. They call to remind of the appointment.

From consultation and scheduling to completion my experience with Astar was excellent. When discussing financing and scheduling for the initial walk-through, Jeremy made sure all my questions were addressed. During the walk-through, the installation manager Adam was knowledgeable and experienced and paid attention to detail to make sure he had all the information he needed to provide the best service. The installation crew was great. Rob, Rick and Ron were very professional, courteous and clean. When they were done they left everything as clean as when they arrived. The job was completed as planned and in the time frame they had given in the consultation. The President of Astar, Ed is hands on in all aspects of his company. He makes you feel at ease, is understanding and easy to talk to. He really gets involved. I would definitely recommend Astar to anyone.

arrived promptly, checked the unit on the ground and attatchments in the attic as well as circuits before determining it was a safety switch in the unit that tripped. he cleaned unit and it was back on in 20 minutes. wearing shoe covers every time he entered the house and extremely helpful.

They replace the heater that I had for 10 or 11 years with one that was the same, they allowed me to split my bill, they did the job and they worked with me. Which was good.

1. No long wait for a appointment. 2. Arrived 20 to 30 minutes after 3 hour appointment window. 3. Hard start booster was added into AC unit without me seeing or being told until the work was done. ($225 charge) 4. Service repair guy was courteous and professional. 5. Overall very satisfied the repairs were completed quickly.

The owner took personal interest. Made sure everything went as planned. Followed up after with instructions. Then Hurricane Sandy hit. Owner answered phone when I called to answer questions. Generator kicked right in and ran for 3 days straight. You do not get better than that. Astar handled everything from permit to final test. Very good exoerience.

I saw Them a year ago. They were great. They would very reliable. They worked on every thing that wasn't working.

Astar called 20mins prior to state tech was on his way. greg arrived asked now i was doing, any issues w/ furnacee, 45min. later explained what was done & what needed toning.

Great there was a panel that needed to be replaced. He was very efficient came in located problem ordered part.

The company was very quick to responded valuated the problem, then completed the work timely.

Astar has done three jobs for us, a top of the line regency gas fireplace, an indirect hot water heater and now, the most impressive - a Kohler natural gas whole house automatic generator. All of these are top of the line equipment. The owner, Ed always answers his phone if you ever have a question. Astar is not the cheapest, but there's something to be said for you get what you pay for.

He located the problem with the furnace very quickly. He got the furnace up and running in less than an hour. Because we have been customers for a number of years, and have a maintenance contract with ASTAR, Ed, the owner, declined any payment for his work, saying that "we had been good customers, and he just wanted to see that we were ok!" That, in my opinion, is exceptional customer service! AStar's work is also consistently professional, they always follow up, and are a pleasure to deal with. In the past, they installed a brand new heating system, and upgraded our air conditioning, which have performed well. The problem that we had during the storm was due to an electrical short circuit, not a product defect..

We called Astar discussed our options with Ed the owner. He then put us in touch with Jeremy who arranged financing options and set up a date to begin the work. The two workmen arrived, introduced themselves (both John) put on paper booties and entered our home. The next week to 10 days was pleasent enough even though we had the two Johns working long days BECAUSE they were polite and very neat. While they were working they never left for the day without cleaning up and letting us know what was done and the plan for the next work day. Very approachable! When they finished the work they made sure we knew how to run the new unit, the best settings for the new thermostat AND they didn't leave a single piece of garbage. We never had to clean up after them and this was with them removing an a/c unit from an attic that had no stairway. I would recommend them for ANY job they do. Since purchasing our home Astar has fixed our a/c problem, replaced our rotten boiler and has put water treatment in place. All done professionally and clean! AND you can reach someone 24 hours a day, 364 days a year. That's right, they close on New Years day! Awesome Company
