We are so grateful to ASTAR and to Aaron in particular, who went "above and beyond" from educating us and helping us choose a system, to overseeing its installation, and then to overseeing a subsequent tweaking of the system to meet our home heating needs. Aaron and the whole team doing the work were professional, responsible, punctual, responsive, and ... what can I say, excellent in all regards. We feel confident that ASTAR stands behind its work and we intend to continue to rely on ASTAR and Aaron to handle any and all future maintenance and upkeep of our heating system. It should be noted that Aaron, our contact at ASTAR, is extremely knowledgeable and talented regarding his craft, and was always eager to share his knowledge. We were so very impressed with ASTAR and with Aaron that we arranged to have them install an entirely new central air system as well! My wife and I could not have asked for a better experience. The technician was very professional and really knew his trade. He went right to work and included me in on decisions that needed to be made. At the end of the prior season, we noticed that there was a bit of water on the floor when the boiler would kick on. It turned out that the pressure tank for the boiler had gone bad. We were informed that this was not uncommon due to the age of the boiler. We had our boiler installed 11 years ago. All of the work was done quickly and efficiently. My only problem was that the initial price quote was for $600. I aid yes to the repair, as it had to be done. The final cost was a bit more than $900. That final cost was a bit of a shock, but I guess good service and repairs from a reputable company costs $$ these days. I am very happy with the repairs and I have already noticed a difference with our heating system. The real test will come with the cold days and night in January and February. The ladies in the office were very good on the phone setting up the appointment. They even went the extra mile to call me back as there was some confusion with contact information and the location of my home. They did a great job in tracking me down!!

The men were on time, worked continuously. Polite and answered our questions. Very neat and finished on time. Included an extra duct look.

Astar's plumber arrived on time, kept the area neat & clean throughout removal & installation of our two units. Furnace & air conditioner.

Changed air filter tested refrigerant charge.John arrived early. The charges are reasonable.

The blower went on the AC unit in my wife's daycare center on a 95 degree hot day. We called at 6pm and got a call back by 7pm, with promise to have the office call us at 7am, of which they did. There was tech to sent to diagnose the problem by 11am and the problem was fixed by 2pm, after they located the parts. The whole customer experience went great. All the children thank you.

We have used ASTAR for many years to service our central air. On June 30th we had a bad thunderstorm that sent a power surge through our home and fried our central air, whole house fan and some other outlets. ASTAR came and we were originally told that it would be approx. 3-4 weeks and take 2 days to install the new system because they were all booked up. We were ok with that since the weather for the next couple of weeks was going to be in the high 70's. The following week the weather changed and it was going to be warmer. Knowing we had no central air ASTAR dropped off at our home, 2 brand new window air conditioners! WOW! They would have dropped off as many as we wanted but really only needed them for 2 of the bedrooms. Don't know of any other company that would have done that! Now the following week (7/13) we had totally forgot the we had relatives from out of state coming to spend a week with us (7/22-7/29) and the weather was going to be brutally hot! We called ASTAR and explained our situation and are happy to report that they came on Saturday, July 18th and did the entire installation in one day! They put an extra guy on so they could get the job done! It has been over a month now of hot and humid weather and the system has been on since they installed it! We have noticed that this new system does a better job at keeping the house cool then the old one which was only 10yrs old. We highly recommend this company and will continue to use them for our preventive maintenance. We would have given them a rating of A++ if it was offered!

I used A-Star last summer. It went very well. From the salesman to the installers, everyone was very professional, very accommodating, and very punctual. The installation was done in the end of August 2014. When I initially contacted them, summer was just around the corner. As you can imagine, they were booked solid for installations through almost the end of summer, however, they loaned me 4 or 5 (I don't remember exactly) brand new window units to put throughout my house until they could complete the installation, and at no additional cost. I was very pleased with their service. Recently, an issue arose with the thermostat that affected our ability to use the Central Air. They came as soon as I called and serviced it at no charge being as that it had been installed less than a year ago. They offer service plans in connection with the manufacturers warranty, and they were significantly cheaper price wise than all the local competitors. I will continue to utilize their company and service, as well as highly recommend them to others.

EXCELLENT. Couldn't be more professional. Gave 5 different pricing/equipment options. Respected that I was looking around and it was just a free quote. Did not bother me with excessive call backs and waiting for my word. Couldn't be more pleased. THEY call ME to remind me about yearly service check ups.

The installation crew were wonderfully professional and efficient. The business representative and the office staff were courteous to the Nth degree! We feel that they explained things thoroughly and didn't try to sell us more than we needed. We're extremely happy with the new air conditioning system. We also felt confident enough with ASTAR to set up financing through them; we have one year interest-free financing. All in all, it was a very good experience to deal with ASTAR.

The Astar technicians were prompt, courteous, and professional. Kyle took the time to explain ways we could improve existing a/c and lower our energy costs. Highly recommend.

After the tune-up was completed, the compressor wasn't kicking in. The tech went through all the possibilities and found that even though the breaker was in the "on" position, it was bad. He had one in the truck and we decided to replace the entire switch box instead. He did not up sell me, I decided to upgrade to a newer device. I've been using Astar for the past 2 years since moving in and would highly recommend them. The techs are friendly and know thier business.
