He was good and gave me good advice, but it was very expensive.

The installation on the water heater went well. The only problem was when the circuit breaker needed to be changed a cabinet needed to be moved. The technician insisted upon moving it himself rather than letting me empty the cabinet and help him. He didn't put anything under the cabinet before he moved it, so he caused a very long, arched gouge in my oak floors. The company did have a flooring professional come out and fix it.

The pro almost immediately found the source of my leak. And he fixed it with very little mess.

The owner, and all of the technicians are knowledgeable in their respective services and the work is outstanding. I even hire the same company to fix a surprise plumbing emergency. Same professionalism and customer service. They always made sure the job was done right before they said it was done.

I had mold booking on the ceiling in my garage and Sal came and took care of business quickly and painlessly. Sal even went out of his way to fix other issues I was having, all the time providing very friendly expert service. I would 100% recommend ASTAR for any plumbing needs you may have.

Noah the pro who did the work was courteous & understanding of my situation. Informed me of options but diagnosed the problem and resolved the issue like my regular pro,who was on vacation. The price was just right.

This is an update to my last review. The following Monday morning, Astar called me and arranged to have the service man return to complete the job within 45 minutes. He did, indeed, arrive and completed the job. It took about two minutes.

They are quick to upsell products and do not complete their work. I tried repeatedly to get them back to finish the job; was scheduled twice for completion of the job, and neither time did they show up or call.

Was fast and available.

Overall I thought A Star service experience was a good experience. The Tech Geno was on time, professional, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions. However, I thought their pricing was a bit too high for just tightening a faucet handle...$151 was too much for that. On the work order it read "pipe repair Grude" but there was no pipe that was removed or repaired just a tighten faucet handle..way too expensive!! I would love to see a pricing list for services so that the customer knows how much a service is going to be charge in advance. That being said, I did take their annual plumbing Service Agreement as I believe regularly schedule maintenance saves money...However, I will be monitoring how they price me on any service recommendations going further. This will determine if I will become a loyal customer with them or not....PS: Love their live phone receptionist Cindy as she is most helpful and extremely pleasant over the phone...Good Customer Service.

Everyone at Astar was exceptional. My plumbers Noah and Kevin were very good at answering my questions and providing me with acceptable options. They replaced my worn out sump pump with a model that has a battery back up. While $1600 is a lot of $$$ for me, I felt like I was paying for peace of mind which for me is a high priority. Having said that, I would gladly hire them again.I would also mention that when you call their office you get a real live person, Cindy, who is also very pleasant and informative.

Astar technicians and office personnel, especially Noah, were top shelf in all ways. They were prompt, courteous, efficient, willing to listen to my concerns, and professional in all ways. I would hire them in a heartbeat and would strongly suggest others do so as well

High quality work. Professionalism was through the roof. They cleaned-up after their work. They stand by their work. We've had their heating in our home for over a year, and everything is working so efficiently. We LOVE Astar!

A "friendly" company! I need to replace my old oil boiler, and wanted to "go-green" Being I have family and friends overseas, where oil heating is dead or dying, I wanted to go with a heat pump! They were helpful in finding the right equipment for my needs.. and had it all installed and running while I was away! ...And to a price that wasn't any higher than installing a new oil or gas boiler..now, I'm just waiting for an inspection. Only downside is that the installer left a window open in the basement. So when I returned, the floor was unexpectedly cold.. until I realized why... I would like to see how they do with service through the year! So far they are awesome!

Astar provided outstanding service, quality work and I they will be my 'go to' plumbers from now on!!
