A little expensive but completed the work in a timely manner and the people were professional and respectful.

Came as scheduled, wound up paying $159 Diagnostic charge for what I already knew was a broken zone valve, $385, replace new vent $187 and plan maintenance agreement $189. Told I was given 15% discount on parts. Wanted to charge additional $300 for a new thermostat, I bought one for $30 and put in myself. Now less than a week later I have no hot water, and they want to charge me another $150 diagnostic fee to come light my pilot. Extremely dissatisfied when they told me this call has nothing to do with they?re initial visit. I will not give them another dime!

The job needs to be redone. They will correct the problem at no charge. This company offers a 5% veteran's discount. Being a disabled vet, this is important. It's a bit hard to give ratings as the job needs to be re-done but I was treated fairly and with respect.

Astar Plumbing and Heating was very responsive, courteous and capable. However, the price charged for a minor installation was exhorbitant--probably three times what it should have been.

He did a very thorough job, very courteous. When he was done, he spoke to me about parts he thought needed to be replaced soon.

Charged an arm and a leg for diagnosis and cleaning a flame sensor. Could not diagnose the issue and recommended me replacing my furnace altogether.

We hired them to clean and service our furnace. He came in and spied a 22 yr. old furnace and said he wouldn't touch it. We've never had a problem with it and it works fine. After refusing to touch it, he offered to sell us a new one. You don't fix it if it ain't broke. Why would you have confidence in that company?
