They worked in an organized fashion on each project to minimize any disruptions to the house. His crew was very considerate of the cleaning up their workspace afterwards. Wouldn't hesitate to use their services again. Would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone else.

contacted Forest HIlls Electrical Corp for an estimate on some upgrades in our newly purchsed home. I representitve contacted me within a day to set up an appointment for an estimate. The estimate was for 8:30 am. Since we owned the home but had not moved in yet, I arranged for my son to be dropped off at school early, and raced out to the house in order to be there on time to meet the electrician. After 15 minutes without a show or a phone call, I contacted the office and left a message indicating that I was at the house awaiting the electrician. I never got a call back, nor did the electrician show up so I wasted my entire morning and raced around for nothing. To me, this lack of responsiveness is both unprofessional and very possibly indicitave of the way they perform during jobs. If you tell someone you're going to be somewhere, you show up...and if you can't make it you call.

Beshaun and his team were great. He was easy to schedule the initial estimate and also easy to work with throughout the planning. He responded to calls and emails promptly. He was quick to provide me with all of the necessary documents for our coop board so the project was approved quickly. We live in a pre-war coop building and were nervous about having electrical work done because of our plaster walls. Beshaun and his team assured me that he was very experienced when working in pre-war buildings and that they would try to minimize the amount of holes they needed to make and also try not to disturb our molding... and he was correct! They really did a great job and each day we were surprised at how few holes they had made. They cleaned up after themselves and there was minimal dust left behind. We were very impressed and felt like we left our home in great hands each day. The whole job only took 2 1/2 days which was also great! I would recommend Forest Hills Electrical to anyone!

They were great. On time. Efficient. Professional in every way. Their expertise and skill in electrical work was just wonderful. They answered all questions and concerns from the estimate to the final work. The came on time for the estimate and the job itself. The prepped the areas where they worked so that they left us a very clean home. While they were there we found some additional work to be done and they were very accommodating and reasonable with their price for the work. I have no trouble recommending them to friends or family. I look forward to using them for additional work in my home.

I had some special needs and Beshaun and his assistant, Javier, worked with me and bent over backwards to assist me. They were professional, extremely polite, worked quickly and quietly and cleaned up afterwards. I didn't do much by way of comparison shopping, but I thought the service I received far outweighed any extra cost I might have paid. I highly recommend this company.

We had just moved into our new home and found we had a problem with one of the electrical outlets, which kept blowing up our surge protectors. The co-op maintenance man had a look but couldn't solve the problem. Paul and his team arrived right on schedule and correctly diagnosed the problem within 5 minutes! The corrected a dangerous situation and even improved our electrical layout all within about a half an hour and charged us exactly what he quoted us on the phone. I could not be more pleased with their work. Paul is extremely knowledgeable and his team were all very courteous and professional. I highly recommend this company for anyone with any electrical needs. Great job!

Arrived at designated time. Listened to what I wanted done before checking what was already in place. Paul then explained what they had to do and how much it would cost. Very pleased and I will use Forest Electrical again in the near future for another project.

Paul and his team were complete professionals from step one all the way through to the end of the job. He clearly has a vast amount of knowledge and experience that sets him and his team above the rest. He was quick to respond to all communication, very clear and organized (perfect when you need co-op approval), accommodating, punctual, very considerate of my space and the shared spaces with my neighbors. He and his team are kind and have a clear interest and joy in what they do, even after having to lug up all that equipment up to my 5 floor walk up apartment. He found a burned out light switch that caused the problem. He fixed it and also put in two new circuit breakers I needed. He checked everything thoroughly in the involved area. He was knowledgable.he also notified a light fixture which had a wire problem which he will fix for me when I call him back. His price was reasonable compared to another electrician I had in the past.he was pleasant.

Lost power following downpour at 5 AM. Call this contractor and left tel msg at 6 AM. 7:30 AM call back and by 8:30 AM Paul and his crew were at my premise. Quickly found problem and called Con Ed to report their problem. I was delighted with speed and competance of owner, Paul Gennaro, and his friendly, helpful manner. Highly recommend him for any electrical problems!!

Paul and his crew were courteous, knowledgable, professional, and punctual. He spent a good deal of time carefully inspecting the existing wiring, listening to the updates I wanted, and suggesting what he thought would work best. Once I'd agreed to the work, he promptly emailed me all of the necessary documentation for my co-op board's approval and was able to start work right away. I was very pleased with how smoothly the process went and the end result. I would definitely recommend him to others, especially those who live in prewar buildings, as it's clear he knows a lot about old wiring!

Paul contacted me as soon as I reached out to him. I chose his business primarily based on his Angie's List ratings and comments that were posted. I was not disappointed. Paul is very professional. I hired an electrical contractor in New York City without meeting him face to face! (Thank you Angie's List and Thank you Paul for participating in Angie's List!!) Wow, was I impressed with Paul's willingness to get my job done as quickly as he could. I was under the gun to get the fuse box replaced ASAP or lose the dwelling insurance. Paul even provided me with documentation I requested in order to prove to the insurance company that a contractor had been hired and the fuse box was going to be replaced!! This bought me more time with the insurance company before they cancelled my insurance policy. The insurance agent came after the job was done and took photos and said Paul's company did a really nice job. The insurance company did not cancel my policy!!! Paul really explains each step of the process and even gives you a heads up for a potential worst case scenario, which in my case didn't happen. Paul coordinated the inspection with the City and Con Ed. He informed me and the surrounding residents that the power would be temporarily off when his crew swapped electrical boxes. He sent me regular updates, he kept me informed of the project's progress, and he sent me a copy of the final City Inspection. He only asked for a partial payment after the new panel was installed. He did not ask for his final payment until the inspection was complete with Con Ed and the City. I felt there was a level of trust between Paul and I that made doing business with him very easy. Paul is very good at communication and giving updates, which I really appreciate. He explains the process at the level you can understand. (This is a comman theme in some of his customer's comments about him.) I would definitely hire Paul's company again.

I called and left a message earlier in the morning to make an appointment, and Mr. Gennaro returned my call in the afternoon, contacting me at both numbers. When I spoke with him, he was very pleasant and professional, offering to have his crew come the next day to make the repairs needed. As I'm considering having my apartment rewired in the future, he was happy to look over the wiring and provide an estimate. His team of two came within the appointment window times provided and fixed the switch in about 5 minutes, at the costs estimated. When they looked at the circuit breaker panel, they advised to not try to replace all of the wiring because of the age of the building. They said I should just get dedicated outlets for the big appliances (like the air conditioners). I was happy to use them and will definitely be using them in the future.

When we were remodeling our kitchen, we wanted to upgrade our electrical system as much as possible. They hadn't been touched in probably more than 20 years. We met with a number of electricians for this job and Paul was the one who seemed to have the best ideas for how to get the new lines into our kitchen when dealing with pre-war plaster walls and ancient wiring. His estimate was actually the most expensive, but we felt the most confident he would get the job done because he seemed very detail-oriented. This job needed to be broken up into two visits and on each visit, he brought his crew of three guys. It was amazing how much work had to be done, but it got done smoothly. Thanks to him, we don't have to worry anymore about stuff like multiple appliances overloading the circuits!

When he came in to do the quote, he came in with his team right away. He was talking, he was showing them, as he was giving the quote he was already expediting the work. He was showing them and pointing, and he had a very military stile. He was highly professional.
