The price was right and quality of work was top notch. Ken and his crew cut down several large trees, grinded the stumps, removed several bushes and a lot of brush. All of the sticks and woodchips were cleaned up, they did an excellent job. Ken also dealt with one of my crazy neighbors who decided she didn't want the trees on our property line removed after agreeing to have them removed. We are able to put up a fence now and would recommend K&A.

We purchased our house in August. The maple tree in the front lawn had obviously been neglected for quite a while. Many of the branches were hanging low and some were touching the roof. We called K&A Tree Service who gave us a quote of $200.00 to trim the tree and $800.00 to remove it and grind the stump. Because we were not sure that we wanted it removed, we decided to have it trimmed. I called to confirm the appointment we set up, but we had to move it because Ken had an unexpected personal matter come up. We re-scheduled for the next week based on the weather since we were supposed to get rain. As it turned out, the weather cooperated and the crew showed up as planned. They were quick, efficient, and polite. They made sure all the overhanging branches were trimmed. Before finishing, they asked me if there were any additional branches that I saw which they may have missed. They were terrific! There were no branches that were missed that needed trimming. They stacked the branches and within 20 minutes, another crew came by to cut-up and grind the branches. The property was swept clean. Except for the beautifully trimmed tree, you would have never known that any branches were cut down. I was very pleased with their work and will definitely use them again. Thank you Ken and please extend my thanks your excellent crew and remember ... it's time to add your son's initials to the company name. :)

Very well. He came on time, did the job and cleaned up after himself. He did what he said he would do. By trimming off the branches I was concerned about, I feel better about any future issues with wind/snow storms and this tree.

Couldn't have done a better job more efficiently.. An hour after they arrived you wouldn't have known they had been there.

Fantastic. Can't say enough about how good this experience was - I was nervous because I wasn't sure exactly what scope of work I needed when I first called them, just that I had some branches to be trimmed and some small trees that didn't look healthy. Bob walked my property with me, made some suggestions that addressed my concerns, and voluntarily gave me a discount for using Angie's List even though I didn't realize I was entitled to it. He called me the day before my scheduled work to make sure I knew the guys were coming. The guys arrived promptly, were courteous, fast, and competent. They were even nice to my two little boys, who were fascinated by the work they were doing. AND they pointed out a major safety concern (that the power company needs to address). Their work was impeccable. I will absolutely use them again.

Ken arrived when he said he would and gave me an estimate. I called him back to set a date. They came, they saw(and sawed) and cut. They even removed a bonus stump for me. They cleaned up when they were done. I would definitely use them again.

It went without a hitch. The owner accompanied his crew, who worked in tandem with each other. It was a large tree and there was a shed and fence they had to work around. It went very smoothly. No problems.

This was my second time using the services of K&A Tree Service. Once again, K&A's service was outstanding from initial phone call through completion of job. My call was returned within hours by Bob Hemberger. Bob came by the same day and provided a fair estimate and made arrangements to return within a few days to complete the work. His men arrived as scheduled; and since I was not home when his team was completing the work, Bob called me later in the day to make sure I was satisfied with the job. I indicated that I felt a little more work needed to be done; and within an hour, his men were back and more than happy to accommodate my request. Customer service at its best!!! I do not hesitate to recommend this fine company.

From my first contact to the end of the job, Ken and his workers were friendly, punctual, professional and hard working. I hired K&A Tree Service because of all the great reviews on Angie's List and I am glad I did. I agree they are a great tree service.

They worked so fast and so hard. They were very pleasant. The oak tree they took down had many limbs and lumber was all over. The neighbor next door asked if I didn’t want it, if they could have it. They then gave the neighbors some, which I thought was very kind. They were kind enough to take the lumber away. He also helped me cut up other lumber as well. I would recommend this company to everyone and would be glad to have them back at my home for future jobs needed. They company was very delightful.

The service went very well. A crew of about 6 people came out for the job. They completed the service in about 2 hours. The staff was very professional and careful about cutting the trees. They were great with their cleanup afterwards and very friendly. I had no problem scheduling the service.

Ken came to the house to give us an estimate. We found him to be very professional, he explained what needed to be done and when he could perform the service. Ken came with his crew and completed the job in about an hour, including cleaning up. The property looked wonderful. We will definitely use his company again.

After being very happy with the work that they did at my house, I sent them to my mother's to trim all of the trees in her backyard. They are very large and had not been trimmed in 30 years. She was thrilled with the price and the work that they did. I would highly recommend this company to anyone in need of their services. They are professional and very nice to deal with.

They arrived promptly and cleared the trees hanging over my property line. They took about a half hour to complete the job with the crew of eight men . They left the property clean after they were done . Very satisfied with the completed job .

It went very well. They did everything I asked. I just recommend as they did also that you are home when they do the work. I could not be present. A couple limbs were initially missed but they came back promptly and took care of it. They recommended I be on-site for the first work date but it was not possible. They have good equipment and work very efficiently.

A very professional crew of eight did a fantastic job. Cut down a huge pine tree, another smaller one, trimmed a branch off another, removed a shrub and ground five stumps. The biggest pine had utility wires going through it and the top portion was taken down first. That part was the size of a regular tree! The owner, Kevin has a wonderful, professional, careful crew. Kevin is a very nice guy and was here when he said he would be and very nice to deal with. The tree was chipped, trunk was cut up and removed and everything was taken away and cleaned up beautifully. They even swept the street. I would positively use them again and suggest using them to anyone looking for this service. The price was very fair.
