Description of Work: First off, they were punctual and came with 12 workmen. I had 2 oaks and 1 maple cleaned out and had dead limbs taken off. The trees were in very tight spots and so they had to rope climb. I also had two small trees trimmed below my power line. Overall, they did a great job.

Description of Work: We had 2 large pine trees that never recovered from Superstorm Sandy and slowly died over the last 2 years. One was approx. 35 ft tall and in the back yard between the house and a fence, the other in the front yard near electric and telephone wires. They had the equipment and experience to handle the situation without any collateral damage to property. They came back the next day with a grinder to grind down the huge stumps.

Description of Work: The professional and courteous crew sent from K & A to take down two very large trees did an exceptional job. There were several branches growing over and through the power lines on our property and all were removed carefully, and with great skill until all power lines were clear, which enabled the crew to take the remainder of the trees down. Our property was cleared of all tree branches and debris. I would definitely use K & A again for any future tree removal.

Description of Work: Second time I have used this company. This time I had a dead tree and one other I wanted removed (smaller trees). As usual, Ken is very responsive and professional. His guys came, removed the trees without any damage to my property, ground the stumps, cleaned up, and were on their way. His prices are very good as well. If you need the services he provides, you cannot go wrong. I highly recommend him to everyone.

Description of Work: They trimmed the trees in the front of my house. I was pleased with the work. The owner, who was not on the job, but who did the original estimate, drove by and was not pleased with the work. He spent a considerable amount of time rectifying it. Now you must understand, the work was good. However, the owner has such high standards, that he felt compelled to improve upon the work, despite the fact I was not aware it could be done better! Now that's outstanding service!

Description of Work: I contacted Ken Zacconi of K & A to remove a sizeable oak tree which was in a difficult spot to remove. Although the tree was behind my garage and tight on a fence and near utility lines, they removed the tree and ground the stump without any problems. From scheduling responsiveness to project completion the work was done professionaly, timely, neatly and most importantly without incident. I will definitely use them again.

Description of Work: They took down 10 big hemlock trees and trimmed a big oak tree. They arrived as scheduled, did a great job and left no clean up for me. I would highly recommend Ken and his crew.

Description of Work: The price they quoted was reasonable and in line with other quotes I received for trimming trees around the perimeter of my yard. The work was Ok but sloppy with things not evened out (tops and sides both had the issue), and some branches still sticking out. The job felt rushed, and though I don't have a large backyard or perimeter, they finished up in about 45 minutes to an hour at the most. Also,the undergrowth on the trees wasn't cleared out well, and I'll have to clip it down myself. I do understand there was a lot to be trimmed as it had not been done in a while, and only so much could be trimmed given lack of grown on the inside of the trees, but the job felt rushed and sloppy. On another note, I was told that I would be called leading up to the scheduled day but no one called me. I had to call that morning to confirm they were coming and to fine out what time. Plus the crew came late anyway. All in all, not great service.
