Estimate was very fair and I hired Ken and his crew on the spot. They did not disappoint. Everyone I dealt with was courteous and professional. They even did a little extra with the stump grinding machine- following the roots away from the trees and taking them out wherever they surfaced.

They did a great job. The price was fantastic and the workers were very polite and knowledgeable in their field.

The team from K&A were respectful of my time, my property, and my neighbors property while they worked. The tree they worked on was in a very hard spot to work on and they were amazing. Showed up on time for the quote, showed up on time for the work promised. Job complete on budget and on time. Left my property looking better than when they started. It went very well. Met with Kenny and Joe. Joe gave me a great price for the tree removal and stump grinding. They came on the agreed day (9 workers showed up) and finished the takedown very quickly. I then met with Kenny who recommended I go with the bigger stump grinder so I could get down as deep as I wanted (no extra charge). Very satisfied. Highly recommended.

K&A Tree Service was great. He was really excellent. He came when he said he would, very reasonable and he got the job done. I was very pleased with him. I give him an overall grade of A+.

I got an initial estimate from Bob back in September, but chose to wait to get the tree removed in the Spring. He gave a new estimate, which was slightly less than in the fall. The price seemed very reasonable and the Angie's List discount helped too. Communication with Bob was pleasant and thorough, he also was more than willing to answer any additional questions I had. The work was scheduled for 3/22/14 and the crew showed up on time. We got a call first to let us know they were on the way. There were at least 10 men on the job and they worked cleanly and efficiently--they make this kind of work look easy! I should also mention they had to work around some power/telephone lines and a utility pole! The tree overhung our house and a neighbor's property too. The entire tree was down in just a couple of hours and they were careful to remove all debris. There were a few holes in our lawn from larger pieces when they fell, but nothing serious and nothing that can't be corrected easily. The stump grinding took place a few days later and that too appears to have been done well. Overall we are very pleased and we will definitely recommend them to family and friends!

Ken came the next morning to look at them, and did the job that afternoon. Quick, clean, reasonable price. I had used K & A in 2012 to remove a very old large cherry tree and was very happy with that job as well

I called for an estimate and they answered the phone right away to schedule it the next morning. The next day the owner Ken came to my home right on time and took about 5 minutes to give me a price. Ken told me they could actually do the work in a couple of days. I immediately told him he was hired, especially since the other two companies I called had yet to return my call. I thought the price was very fair. The crew came over on that saturday and blew through the work with ease. They left my yard spotless. Excellent job and would recommend them to anyone. Dan Doerrie.

Showed up early with about 5 guys to do a $250 job. As a result, finished quick, cleaned up well. Apparently one of the branches they cut down hit my deck and caused small damage to one of the planks prior to my arrival. The owner Ken immediately told me about it and offered to repair. Since we just bought the house and the deck has a bunch of similar issues, any damage they may have done could have easily gone unnoticed or unmentioned. No repaid needed since we're replacing the deck anyway. But, I appreciated his honesty in telling me they may have caused the damage. Good guy, good job - highly recommend.

We were very content with Kenny's work. All the good things they wrote about him here were correct. I have two more good things to add. I had to decide which trees need to be removed and which just to be capped of. I feel bad taking down a live tree and at the same time; im mindful that with an upcoming storm the tree might fall which is dangerous. Luckily, Kenny is honest and knowledgeable. He only recommended to take down the trees that are dangerous. He can also tell which trees are hardy and which ones I should look out for. its been two months now after we did this extensive work on our backyard, which had many very tall trees. the work proved well; we had a couple of blizzard since and I didn't see anymore that typical shaking of trees due to the harsh weather. As the trees were being capped or removed, I realized how dangerous this process can be to people around. I was thankful I had Kenny's company. They have the manpower to ensure safety. when you have people walking on your street and a tree or top of a tree is coming down, you want to make sure you have people who are not involved in the cutting standing out there and alerting if a person starts walking on the other side of the street. with a tall tree, you need to make sure there are intermediary workers in between, in case the alert is not received by the person who is on top of the tree. This is a serious task. You can have children walking from their yellow school bus stops, curious drivers slowing down to see what is going on and they are in danger unless the job is done by a very responsible person such as Kenny.

Ken was very knowledgable. Removal of trees and brushes was quick. Stumps removal was scheduled for a different date. Unfortunately, stumps was only partially removed the first time around. I contacted Ken. Ken came back and inspected the tree stumps. He subsequently sent someone else to remove stumps the second time. I also have busy schedule, but Ken was able to accommodate on a Saturday. Overall, I appreciate the the great work that K&A did and would use them in the future.

.Kevin came to my home and gave me a quote for cutting back the trees around my home. A time and day was set and Kevin and his crew were on time and went right to work. They did an excellent job and cleaned up any debris that was there. Kevin and his crew were friendly and courteous. I would recommend them to everyone and hire them again.

In just purchased the property in August. Tree#1 needed to be trimmed because the branches were hanging on my neighbors garage. Tree#2 was over grown and need major trimming and pruning. Additionally, a few bushes needed to be trimmed and ivy removed from chimney . Bob came on time and gave an estimate for the work needed. He was very professional and his price was reasonable in comparison to other estimates. A crew of 5 came on time. They were very professional. They did the work to my specifications. They cleaned up and were very good. the completed the project in under 2 hours. I would used them in the future.

Everything was perfect. Kenny, the owner/operator responded to my email inquiry within hours and came by for an estimate 30 minutes later. He answered all my questions. The job was scheduled for 10 days later and the crew arrived right on time. The work was done flawlessly, clean up was impeccable and the price was very reasonable. The entire experience could not have been any better. Highly recommended.

Took them no time at all to take down 3 trees and the next shift grinded the tree stumps and they even chopped up some of the wood for fire too! They were all very nice, friendly, fast and clean!

Bob came promptly on time and gave me an estimate for the work needed. He was friendly and knowledgable. I liked him immediately. Joe came today with a crew of ten men. They did a fantastic job and kept asking if I was "happy with their work". If I wanted another limb trimmed, they quickly took care of it for me. THe two trees were trimmed perfectly, all was cleaned up afterward, and my husband and I were most pleased with K&A. I would definitely use this company again.

The large crew showed up at the given time . They cut off the branches hanging over my house and the house next door as we requested. They cut down all dead branches, low branches and thinned out the tree. They ground up the tree branches and cleaned up so well you wouldn't even know they were there. They were polite and seemed to like what they were doing.

Ken, Owner/Operator met with me and assessted the job to be done. He scheduled a date and called prior to arriving with his crew and equipment. A chain saw was used along with other tools. All debris was removed and a blower was used to clean area on completion.

Ken brought a team of 10-12 people and quickly went to work, cutting back branches to trunks and removing previously identified trees. The group eventually split into two, with one team responsible for eliminating the cut branches/trees and a second beginning to trim the hedges around our house. Ken periodically rang the door bell for additional input on what else we wanted cut/removed/trimmed, and we walked around the property with him several times to point out concerns. While we wish the team trimming our hedges had made them much smaller (as we had asked), instead of just rounding them out, the group still did a great job. All in all, we found K&A to be extremely professional, skilled, and efficient. Next time we need tree service, we will be calling Ken first.
