Very Disappointing- we had a consultation and the guy's fiancee was impatiently waiting in the car so he was rushed- he seemed nice enough and told us it was no problem for him to try and fix some areas that needed a little more work that just paint prep- like a patch of ceiling that had cracking and some paint that had been splattered on wood trim. His estimate seemed a little high but we were relieved he was willing to do a pretty hefty amount of prep so that the final results could be really nice. The father son team worked fairly quickly and the painting itself seemed to go well, but as the job wound down it was obvious they had no desire to make us satisfied - we had a written contract for the amount of money to be paid and what exact work was to be done. They ended up asking for more money than was agreed to and doing less work that was contracted for. They even lied to my husband telling him when he questioned why they didn't do the ceilings as was agreed to in writing that I had told them NOT to????!!! They stained the porch last after after getting paid and you can see huge brush strokes, drips and puddles of stain all over- the color is very uneven and it is NOT a weather protecting type of product that was specifically requested. Less than a year later it is also very apparent that they used cheap paint or the wrong formulas as the kitchen- a high traffic area- is dull dirty and impossible to clean it looks stained all over and I hav never seen paint discolor like this- nothing has spilled or been put on theses areas but they have strange disccolorations and it looks really awful. They also didnt do the prep they agreed to and told us "you can do that" and the father actually told us he doesn't know why the son would even agree to some of the prep work since he NEVER would tell a customer he would do that??? (removing the paint from the wood trim) all in all it was a waste of money we paid to have the home painted so we can sell it- now less than a year later it ALL needs to be redone.
