They put 6.8 Kilowatts solar system. They installed these on the roof and then installed the panels and wirings. Then they hooked it to electric panels. They did an excellent job. They make sure that your roof is strong enough before they install it. They finished the job quickly. They took a day and a half to do the entire job. The electricity charges are the highest here and the solar panels are saving a lot of money. So we are saving about $3000 every year only for electric. I have recommended them to many people.
Description of Work: They put solar panels in my house.

Excellent coordination, arrived on time and completed job in a timely manner. Very tidy, cleaned up everything including all wires, clipping, copper, etc. Did a good job with installation of the panel and sealing the conduit from outside to inside my basement and advising me of town electrical code for final inspection once my solar roof is installed (in the next 60 days).
Description of Work: Upgraded service from 60 amp line (100 amp panel) to 200 amp service with new panel.

Initially I planned to use solar panels, but then I found out about these tiles which were very new to the market (at the time the marketing had not officially started). Reggie (owner of Sunrise Energy Concepts) was open to changing the contract to try something new. We worked on the design together (I also have an engineering background), and Reggie was happy for me to do as much design and specification as I was comfortable with. Equally I am sure that he would have been happy for me to sit back and leave it all to him. For most people just leave it in Reggie's capable hands! Reggie was also able to foresee problems well in advance. We were left in a tight spot between the supplier having experienced some serious delays and the weather closing in for winter (which was only an issue for tiles, not panels). We had just a few days of available good weather, so Reggie and his crew worked into the night on the roof, total hero's! Everything about the install spoke quality.
Description of Work: ** I have re-entered this report to add photos ** The photos are impressive, this was a fantastic job. If you look at the photos you might not recognise this is a solar installation, it is not like traditional panels. Designed and installed a solar photovoltatic system (generates electricity). Dealt with town planners and the local utility. Explained to me everything that I needed or wanted to know about the options and available technologies (I am a geek engineer). This was an unusual install, indeed the first install of this type on the east coast of USA, and the largest residential install of this type in the country (currently). The installation uses OpenEnergy (www.openenergycorp.com) solar tiles (rather than panels), so the roof is effectively made out of these tiles rather than panels fixed to the roof. There are concrete tiles around the edge.

I simply cannot recommend this contractor highly enough. Reggie is without doubt the best contractor that I have dealt with, no ifs buts or qualifications to that. The best period. This was a repeat job, because I was so happy with the previous job. Reggie and his team arrived on time, and managed all the wiring and panels installed before the end of the day. Reggie is not just concerned about getting the job done, he provides help and advice after. He is not about getting the money, he is about getting the job done well to make the system as efficient as it can be. Don't forget to pay him incase he forgets to ask! The price might be a little more than some other installers, but I have rated the price as A, because of the sheer value for money. You can be sure that if something goes wrong he will sort it out (whether or not it is his fault). I have an engineering degree so I can tell when someone knows their stuff, and Reggie certainly does.
Description of Work: Install about 5KW of solar panels and associated equipment and wiring. Get any/all paperwork with town, inspectors, utility (LIPA), done etc. The price of $20000 a rounded guide. For an exact price ask Reggie for a quote.
