Signature Carpet

I went to the company's showroom in Long Island, NY and dealt directly with the owner Shawn who is very knowledgeable and professional. We discussed what types of rugs I wanted and he thoroughly explained the different types of rugs that I could look at from a design, quality and price point of view so that it would match my taste and budget. I appreciated this approach because I was immediately able to look at rugs based on my taste, quality level and buget. My first project involved two stairway runners and a hall runner. I made my selctions and we scheduled an appointment for Shawn to come over to my home with the selections so I could see them in my home and make the correct decision. Shawn arrived on time and once I decided, Shawn carefully measured the stairways and hallway and put down blue tape to outline exactly where the rugs would be positioned so I could actually see how it would look - this was very helpful. I had the option to leave the tape on the floor until installation or have him remove it. Shawn called me when the rugs were customized and ready for installation and we selected a date/time. An installer who has worked for Shawn a long time came over on time and did the three installations. The two stairway installations required a lot of time (custome padding had to be installed, then the rugs, then the metal bars) and the installer did not rush - he did an excellent job. I was very pleased with his expertise. I went to Shawn again for my second project - a rouind rung for the family room. Shawn again came to my home, on time, and measured. This rug did not need customization. I went to his showroom and selected three rugs to take home so I could decide. I made my selection and am very happy. I am currently working with Shawn on my third project, a customized rug for the dining room which is an unusual size and shape. I again went to his showroom and made my selections, Shawn came over to my home (on time) with the selections, he measured and put down the blue tape outline so I could see how it would look. I am currently waiting for it to be customized and installed. After this we have a fourth project for Shawn to do - the living room. I've worked with others in the past including department stores and independent vendors and have never received such personized service. Shawn really cares that the customer is happy and that the home reflects the cusomers taste. He is a perfectionist and pays great attention to detail. In addition, he is responsive to calls, is punctual, and is a very lovely person. I highly recommend him.
