I was so impressed with the technician at the other end of the phone when I called Cablevision regarding the "snow"on my TV screen that I thought I would take the time to write and tell you about it. "Kevin" was professional, intelligent, and efficiently troubleshooted the problem with me over the phone avoiding the time consuming annoyance of having to either take off from work or schedule an appointment on your day off for a technician come to my home. I give him an A+. There was a 6 minute wait on the phone (after i pressed this number and that number) before the technician came on, but this was not the technicians' fault. The large conglomerate Cablevision did pretty good though with this too as 6 minutes wasn't too bad. I am very happy with this experience tonight overall.

The box installation was not smooth. There were not too many people that I could talk to that could understand my issues. It took a few different people in order to get this resolved. I was not told about certain channels that I would and would not get. I feel through this upgrade that I lost many channels that I originally had, nor is anyone able to understand what I have questions about.
Description of Work: They supply my cable. They most recently converted my TV from analog to digital.

Horrible.
Description of Work: First installation with the wrong DVR. Second installation the DVR was used, not operating, and had programs recorded from the previous person. Third installation the tech never showed. He called and said, "Too bad I have to go to the next."

Their technicians are polite enough, but nothing changes.
Description of Work: This is my cable company. They charge me nearly $150 a month and the service remains spotty at best. They have sent out technicians, but they don't seem to talk to one another and I continue to be charged full freight for less than adequate service.

I HAVE TALKED TO SIX OR SEVEN GUYS AND THEY ARE ALL VERY NICE AND PATIENT. THEY HAVE BEEN TO THE HOUSE SEVERAL TIMES TO COMPLETE THE SERVICE. THEY ALSO INSTALL CABLE TELEVISION.
