Total bait and switch. I signed up for their $36.99 rate with $99 equipment installation. The installer came in, walked around the house for a few minutes and suggested a location for the keypad near the front door. He then started drilling the holes into my wall and set it up. At that point he then walked the house some more and asked for 10 minutes while he went over potential weak spots in our security. He sat me down presented a quote for an additional $2,500 on top of the package that I had signed up for. At that point I told him that I was just going to stay with the package that I had signed up for. He told me that wasn't possible since he had installed the keypad on the other side of the house from my landline. He told me that he needed to upgrade me to the $44.95 monthly package in order to connect it to their cellular plan, otherwise he would leave with me a bunch of holes in my wall. There was no apology, no sympathy, it was almost as if he pushes these pressure tactics every single customer he visits. Here I am now paying an extra $8 a month for 36 months for an add-on that I didn't want or need. Thats $288 plus tax. This company scammed me out of more than $300.

Awful. After several missed appointments or no shows I asked to just cancel. I was told no to read my contract which states that ADT does not have to do install in a timely manner. It took 5 months to complete the installation with them. Worst company I ever dealt with. They gave me a 5 month credit and said that was more than fair!!! Run.

ADT took over this company in 2008 and I have been paying ADT since then. These bills were for wireless backup service which was not even provided to me from either one of these companies. I called ADT to ask them what the deal with this was and they informed me that they bill directly. I am not asking for any money back, I just do not want this to affect my credit report.

Tried very hard to work with them but they cannot do basic things correctly such as showing up on time or with the right equipment to perform installation. If they will not return your call before the installation, what is their reliability after?

The gentleman that came out from ADT was very professional and courteous to both my husband and I. He answered all our questions well, but we felt that spending a thousand dollars to install a new system when a competitor would do this for no charge at all was just too much money to spend. We decided to go with a competitor and will not use them again.

IT WAS OKAY. I DIDN'T RUN INTO ANY PROBLEMS WITH THEM. I THOUGHT THAT THE PRICE WAS VERY REASONABLE. I ALSO THOUGHT THAT THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL WITH THEIR WORK.

THEY DID A VERY GOOD JOB OF INSTALLING OUR ALARM SYSTEM. THEY WERE VERY NICE PEOPLE. THEY WERE ON TIME. THEY WERE VERY PROFESSIONAL. THEY DIDN'T MAKE A MESS IN OUR HOME.

THE TECHNICIAN WHO INSTALLED THE ALARM WAS WONDERFUL. HOWEVER, I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH THE COMPANY'S CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BILLING. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THEIR SERVICES TO ANYONE AT ALL. I AM VERY DISSATISFIED.

THEY WAS VERY PROFESSIONAL AND PROMPT. THEY EXPLAINED EVERYTHING TO ME AND DID NOT LEAVE UNTIL I UNDERSTOOD EVERYTHING ABOUT THE ALARM SYSTEM.

I THOUGHT THE INSTALLERS DID A GOOD JOB. THE PRICE IS FAIR AND REASONABLE. I HAVE NOT HAD ANY PROBLEMS WITH THE ALARM SYSTEM SINCE IT HAS BEEN INSTALLED.

ADT IS A GREAT HOME SECURITY COMPANY TO USE! THEY HAVE OUTSTANDING WORKERS THAT RESPECT YOUR HOME AS IF IT WAS THEIR OWN! THE PRICE FOR THEIR SERVICE IS ALSO REASONABLE ALONG WITH THE DECENT CUSTOMER SERVICE.

THEIR SERVICE RESPONSE TIME IS WONDERFUL. I DO THINK THAT THE CUSTOMER SERVICE AREA IS LACKING IN PROFESSIONALISM. THEY ARE NOT ALWAYS HELPFUL AT ANSWERING ANY QUESTIONS I HAVE.

ADT IS A WONDERFUL COMPANY TO USE! I HAVE NEVER HAD ANY TYPE OF PROBLEMS WITH THE SYSTEM ITSELF NOR THE COMPANY. THE WORKERS ARE FANTASTIC AND KEEP ME INFORMED!

WE HAVE NOT HAD MANY VISITS FROM THE COMPANY, BUT IF WE HAVE PROBLEMS WE CAN DEPEND ON THEM TO GET IT SOLVED IMMEDIATELY! THEY PROVIDE A GREAT SERVICE.

THEY ARE EXCELLENT. I ALWAYS GET AN IMMEDIATE RESPONSE FROM THEM AND THE POLICE IF THE ALARM GOES OFF. WE FEEL PROTECTED AT NIGHT KNOWING THAT THE POLICE WILL BE RIGHT OUT IF ANYTHING SHOULD HAPPEN.

THIS IS A VERY REPUTABLE COMPANY TO USE. THE PRICE FOR THE SERVICE IS VERY REASONABLE. THE WORKERS WERE PROFESSIONAL AND KEEP A SMILE ON. WE HAVE NEVER HAD ANY TYPE OF PROBLEMS WITH THIS COMPANY!

CHOOSING ALARM COMPANIES WAS NOT HARD BECAUSE ADT IS THE MOST RELIABLE AND DEPENDABLE! WE HAVE NEVER HAD ANY TYPE OF FALSE ALARMS OR PROBLEMS WITH THE SYSTEM!

ADT IS A RELIABLE SECURITY COMPANY TO USE. WE HAD A FALSE ALARM AND THEY MADE SURE TO CALL AND CONFIRM THAT EVERYTHING WAS OKAY! THEY HAVE GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE!

WE HAVE ONLY HAD MINOR PROBLEMS WITH THE SYSTEM. THEY ALWAYS COME OUT RIGHT AWAY WHEN WE NEED THEM. THE LAST TIME WE CALLED THE COMPANY FOR ANYTHING, THE WORK WAS DONE VERY QUICKLY. THEY WERE IN AND OUT IN ABOUT TEN MINUTES.

I WAS NOT HAPPY WITH THE WAY THEY DID THINGS. I HAD A PHONE COMPANY THAT UNKNOWINGLY CLIPPED A WIRE THAT DISABLED THE ALARM AND THEY CHARGED ME FOR SEVEN MONTHS OF SERVICE THAT I DID NOT HAVE.

THE COMPANY IS POPULAR AND THE SERVICES ARE AFFORDABLE. THE SERVICE IS AVAILABLE TO DO THE JOB THE WAY IT SHOULD BE DONE. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEMS WITH THE SERVICE PROVIDED.

I LIKE THEM VERY WELL. THEY ARE VERY QUICK TO RESPOND WHEN THE ALARM IS TRIGGERED BY ACCIDENT. WE HAVE BEEN LUCKY THAT NO REAL BREAK-INS HAVE OCCURED BUT WE KNOW HOW QUICKLY TO EXPECT HELP IF IT EVER HAPPENS.

ADT WAS VERY RESPONSIVE WHEN I CALLED THEM. THE TECHNICIAN WHO WAS SUPPOSED TO COME GOT SICK, BUT THEY CALLED QUICKLY AND CHANGED THE APPOINTMENT. THEY WERE PROFESSIONAL AND I WAS COMPLETELY HAPPY WITH THEIR SERVICES.

THE SALES REPRESENTATIVE WAS PROFESSIONAL AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. HE TOOK THE TIME TO EXPLAIN EVERYTHING THE INSTALLERS WOULD BE DOING. WE WERE ABLE TO GET SOME EXTRA DEVICES WITH THE INSTALLATION PRICE.

I AM HAPPY WITH ADT BECAUSE I GOT TWO ALARMS INSTALLED FOR THE PRICE OF ONE. SINCE THE ALARMS WERE INSTALLED I HAVE HAD NO BREAK-INS AND I FEEL MORE SECURE BEING AT HOME ALONE.
